Please write at least two paragraphs about why the Quidditch captain should have chosen your character to play on the team. Note however that it was more that severely frowned upon when girls played Quidditch. Be sure to only apply for a position if you're active on a regular basis as it sucks when threads with team practices are set up and the characters aren't played who are on the team. Also include a RP sample where your character plays Quidditch. It can be from the past or the try-outs, anything you can come up with. You can also apply for the position of captain here. Reason why your character should be chosen: Not only is he an excellent flier, he also dominates the beaters position! All of his anger and frustrations go into this position causing the Bludger to go a great distance! He would be an amazing captain as he can control his team mates easily and they all may not like him but they respect him and he isn't here to make friends, he is here to win that cup. Like his Ancestor he is very cunning and would help use this to get what he wants and watch his team beat those houses to a pulp.
RP sample:Looking at every one of his team mates, Marvolo starred them down confidently as he walked towards them, broomstick in hand. ‘Alright Ladies,’ Marvolo began smirking at his own insult, ‘I am only going to say this once so listen up, I really don’t give two flying Hippogriff’s if you guys like me or not because I am not here to hold your hand and sing you annoying little lullabies, I am here to win and make all those Blood Traitors and Filthy Mudbloods wish they never stepped foot on that pitch,’ Marvolo began his voice getting louder and by the end of his speech his throat was sore, ‘Now. As a team captain, he'll try to make every member happy and make sure they fight as a team. Usually he is not the person easily to motivate but if his passion is behind it he'll find his way. While he actually wanted to be a seeker first he seemed too blunt for that and it was a waste of his physical strength. So when he got denied in his second year as seeker he got accepted as beater in his third year. Almir is very protective over his team mates so he'll go all the way making sure those bludgers are on the other side of the field. He may fly on an old model(the one that once was him mom's) but he has enough skill to fly perfectly on it. For him there is no need for fancy gadgets, they'll win with blood sweat and tears. RP sample: This was it, the final battle against Ravenclaw. The last year with Yaxley as team captain. Almir was going to make him proud, he wanted to be a worthy successor of the Gryffindor boy who had drilled him for two years now. He took his mother's broom in his right hand and his beating bat in his left one. He grinned at his team captain and nodded. The instructions had been clear, there was no way they'd lose. As long as he kept their members save from the bludgers there was no way they'd lose. "I'm gonna miss you, Bub." He suddenly said to the elder male who didn't seem to pleased with his nickname. "I'll do you a favor and won't get too emotional until the end of the match." He stuck his thumb up and winked. "But first let us bake some chicken. Those birds are going down! The Lion will have it's dinner tonight." With these words, he jumped on his broom and flew up high, taking position and waiting for the match to start.

Reason why your character should be chosen:
Amira grew up with a family of Quidditch players. She doesn't know anything else. All she's ever wanted is to play on the team like her family had before her. She is determined and loyal to her house. She wants to prove herself and prove that girls don't always have to be so proper. She feels if she joins the team, she's making a statement about herself and women everywhere. She also really loves any excuse not to wear a dress.
RP sample: Amira was flying through the skies on her favorite broom. It had been given to her when she made Gryffindor in her first year. She wanted to be apart of the team ever since that day, although she knew it was very rare for a girl to be chosen. This year was different however. This year the Gryffindor captain was a friend of hers. Someone she knew would give her a chance. She held the Quaffle in her grasp as she wove around the boys on the team. They were trying to stop her from getting a goal but she was small and fast. She zipped past the last one until she reached the keeper. After faking left, she dove for the right hand goal post and threw the Quaffle with all her might. She nearly fell off her broom in joy as it passed through the hoop.

Reason why your character should be chosen: With Zach being calm, collected, and patient, he would be able to aim at his opponents with little mistake to even worry about. His sharp eyes for archery, Zach uses them to easily take out the other beaters and chasers and when given the opportunity, the opponents seeker as his cherry on top of everything else. Also, it was suggested by a mind healer that since he had so much stress and resentment towards his family, a physically demanding sport would be able to help him with his anger issues.
RP sample: Zach readied himself: flexing his arms, neck and fingers. His bat in hands and rady to hit those bludgers and take out his opponents early on. He listened as his captain spoke and he smirked. Prefect and Captain Gaunt was indeed something. Then when the question 'Who's with me?' was posted, Zach smirked wider. "As long as I can take those mudblood and blood traitors out, I'm right behind you Captain." he said confidently as he leaned his bat on his shoulder and tilted his head to one side. Yup, those wastes of space would regret facing them when the match ended.
