NON-MAGICAL SKILLS: Artemisia cooks, paints and sews in her free time. She also spends a great deal of time making blankets for newborn children and toddlers.
MAGICAL SKILLS: She has mastered the art of Transfiguration and does fairly well when it comes to Charms. While her dueling skills are not the best, she has learned a few defensive spells in order to keep safe since she is now a widow and must protect her son.
WEAKNESSES: Her greatest weakness is her son Noah and reminders of her deceased husband Erik. She also has a terrible fear of spiders, large bodies of water because she can't swim, and rats.

CHARACTER HISTORY: Born the third child of the Humphrey family, Artemisia was very much like her elder brother Michael. Energetic, fun love, care free, and above all, she was magical. While Alexander and Mirabel were muggles, they had no clue that their first and third born children would were witches and wizards. They thought the two were simply imaginative, unless Ivaline who was stern and a bit cruel. This caused Michael and Artemisia to be very close as children and as they grew older, it became apparent that they were not at all normal children. Alexander's father, Gregoire requested that the two come stay with him. Mirabel was very reluctant, but Alexander knew it was for the best. Ivaline grew even more bitter and claimed she cared not for her siblings, believing they were cursed.
Once Michael was of age, he was sent to Hogwarts, while Artemisia learned what it meant to be a witch, her grandfather Gregoire being a wizard and all. A secret he'd kept from his own family. When Artemisia was of age she took attended Hogwarts, rather eager to learn, but more interested in making friends and goofing around with her brother and his friends. She was awfully sad to see him go after her second year, but the young Hufflepuff found her own place at Hogwarts, taking up Transfiguration and Charms as he favorite subjects. The older she got, the more she focused on Transfiguration, deciding it would be a career path once she left Hogwarts.
Upon graduation she married Erik Corday, a halfblood wizard who worked in Knockturn Alley. Never did she think she'd fall for someone such as Erik, but their love was real. They would buy a home and start a family. The first born son being Noah. Artemisia would hire a governess and then start work at Hogwarts. Unfortunately tragedy struck when Noah was three and Erik passed away due to fever. Artemisia was heartbroken, but with time she healed and moved on, the memory of her lost love still close to her heart.
