She grew up with such a large family that she hardly knows most of her siblings and refuses to let that happen to her own family. She makes sure everyone has time together, whether it be in the evenings or a day just for the family. She enjoys having large family dinners and invites their friends to join them. She's also a bit of a worry wort and has trouble sleeping when Nikolas works late. She usually spends those evenings cross stitching in front of the fire, glancing at the clock every few seconds. Lavinia doesn't have many girl friends but she does enjoy to gossip with the ones she does have. She is probably closest to Marissa Rinaldi who become sort of a mother figure to her. She brings the children over to visit so neither of the housewives will be so lonely while their men work.

CHARACTER HISTORY:
Lavinia was born a twin to Micajay Fawley and Elenore Malfoy Fawley. She never really knew her mother, however, as she died when the twins were still infants. She was raised mostly by a Governess hired by her father to take the place of her mother. She had a step mother who was young, much too young, and couldn't handle caring for the children. Lavinia never liked her much. She wasn't sad when she died, as bad as that sounds. But she didn't have much of a relationship with her.
She liked Luana much more but didn't ever see her as a mother either. Her age was too close to her own and she was more like a friend to the motherless girl. She didn't have the best relationship with her siblings either. With there being so many of them it was hard to keep up with what everyone was doing. The only one she was really close to was her twin sister, Petronella. They were like exact copies of each other and did everything together. They even occasionally pretended to be the other twin just to mess with people and usually pulled it off. She was a Hufflepuff while attending Hogwarts, along with her twin, and she enjoyed her years in school. She felt lucky that her family had the sort of money so she could gain an education. She wanted to be able to have conversations about things that mattered when she was an adult. She was still at Hogwarts when she was told by her father she was arranged to marry Nikolas Potter. She didn't fight him on it, knowing it was useless but she wasn't happy about it either. He was three years old than herself and she felt she was too young to consider such a thing. She was worried they'd take her out of school to marry but she was able to finish her seventh year.
They were married shortly after and Lavinia fell for him, realizing the age difference wasn't that bad after all. Petronella married shortly after herself and had a son. Lavinia stayed at home spending her time with Nikolas while he wasn't away training to be an auror. They had two children together, Hadrian and Matilda, just a year apart. Lavinia made friends with the Rinaldi family as they were fairly close to her husband and she spent a great deal of time with Marissa. She became the mother figure Lavinia never had and she learned a lot from the woman. Willem, another good friend of Nick's, became apart of her family as well and she cared for him often. Despite her disdain towards their marriage in the beginning, she was very grateful for her family.
Just three years ago, tragedy struck and Petronella died of a disease similar to their mother's. Lavinia was distraught and held up in bed for days before she was able to cope enough to do what was needed of her. She thankfully had a great deal of support around her while she dealt with her grief. She still grieves about her sister but it gets easier with time.
