She almost always wears a hooded cloak when she's walking the streets.
NON-MAGICAL SKILLS: Ella is fairly good cook and can read, unlike her younger sister. She was taught to sew and crochet. She also knows how to survive on her own, as she's had to learn the hard way.

Luella grew up in a village just outside of London. Her father owned a great deal of land, the most in the whole village in fact, and wasn't afraid to brag about that fact. He was a bitter man who had no respect for women. He treated his wife like dirt and his daughters like maids. His son was the only one that mattered to him. The men worked in his fields while the girls cooked and cleaned. Ella and Edith weren't allowed to learn to read or write. They were only allowed to do chores while Hugh spent all the money he had for Samuel to get a real education at Hogwarts. Edith accepted this as the way it was supposed to be but Ella fought her parents every day. She taught herself to read using Samuel's books and continued to read them throughout the years. She was eventually caught and punished harshly.
Ella was a small girl, too thin from losing meals as punishments. She was also stubborn and an entertaining girl to pick on because she generally fought back. Instead of taking care of her like her father should, he would scold her for foolishly picking fights with the village boys.
In their family, they only married other purebloods to ensure magical children. When Ella was old enough, she was engaged to the first pureblooded male that wasn't in the lower class. His name was Fletcher Carrow and had been one bullies from her childhood. He was arrogant about everything and saw himself as god's gift to women. He told Ella she was lucky to be engaged to a man like himself. She realized as she looked at him that it would be like marrying her father and began using every tactic to end the marriage. She even tried to spread a rumor that she was no longer a virgin but since everyone feared Fletcher too much, they wouldn't spread it. After finally breaking down and begging her father to reconsider, to no avail, she packed her things and took off in the middle of the night. She had a small amount of coin stolen from her father but it didn't last long.
Within the first year of being out on the move, she ran out of money and was forced to steal what she needed to survive. She was staying in a village with a friend she'd made on the road when Fletcher found her. It had been a very close call and she changed her look. She had originally been a brunette woman but found a witch who could charm her hair to a golden blonde color. She headed to London where she hoped she would blend in on the busy streets. She found it easier to steal when everyone was always on the move and began pick pocketing the muggles. She was very nearly caught one day and decided she needed to find something safer.
