Adrian Rinaldi
NAME:Adrian Rinaldi
AGE: 45
SOCIAL CLASS: Upper
STATUS: Married
OCCUPATION: Head of Auror Department
PLAY-BY: Timothy Olyphant
BLOOD STATUS: Pureblood
EYES: Grey/Green
HAIR: Brown/Grey
SKINTONE: Tan
HEIGHT & WEIGHT: 6'2 , 160lbs
DISTINGUISHING MARKS: He has a beauty mark under his eye and above his lip, both on the left side. He also wears a goatee and mustache that is more grey than brown.
OVERALL PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION: Adrian had dark hair for most of his life but began greying recently, especially thanks to his new position. He wears his hair pushed back as though he'd been running his fingers through it all day. His eyes used to be a vibrant green but the years and stress of family and work has taken a lot of the life from the middle-aged man. He's tall and slim and walks with a graceful swagger full of arrogance. It's easy upon first sight of him to tell that he has no care for anyone besides himself.
NON-MAGICAL SKILLS: Adrian is fluent in English, French, and Italian. He also is well knowledged in the tongue of manipulation. He's been known to talk his way out of any situation.
MAGICAL SKILLS: In school, Adrian was best with spells. His favorite class was dueling and was punished several times for practicing outside of the classroom.
WEAKNESSES: His number one weakness would have to be his family. His wife and children are the most important part of his life and he would sacrifice himself in a heartbeat for them if needed. He's also known for being a very impatient and arrogant person. He has no qualms against using sarcasm with anyone, the Queen included.
STRENGTHS: His wife, Marissa, is his rock. Without that woman he wouldn't be half the man he is today. If he didn't have her, he would rely solely on his manipulation skills. He can spin an arguement and somehow make everything the other person's fault. The only person immune to his verbal attacking would be his wife who can match him. He was also a faily decent seeker through most of his Hogwarts years.
QUIRKS & HABITS: Adrian often finds himself rolling his eyes or pinching the bridge of his nose when he's frustrated. He also has this squint look that he gives people when he thinks they're idiots. When he's concentrating on something, he fidgets. Whether it be drumming his fingers, tapping his toe, or twirling a quill in his fingers. He has to be moving.
OVERALL PERSONALITY DESCRIPTION: Adrian is thought to be an arrogant arse. He doesn't try to hide his irritation with people when he believes them to be moronic. Those that he works with, his fellow Aurors especially, try not to cross him to avoid his short temper.
He's completely different at home, however. His family means everything to him. He's a good, stern father that expections the most from his children, but he cares about him. His father had shown him no affection growing up and always expection perfection from him and his sister. He wanted to be nothing like him as a father.
BIRTH PLACE: St. Mungos
PARENTS: Augustus Rinaldi, Sylvia Nott
SIBLINGS: Aria Rinaldi
SIGNIFICANT OTHER: Marissa Rinaldi
CHILDREN: Sloan Rinaldi(25), Charlotte Rinaldi(20), Melanie Rinaldi(17)
OTHERS: N/A
CHARACTER HISTORY: The Rinaldi's were a very tradition bunch of purebloods that were placed in the house of Slytherin as far back as any of them could remember. Augustus Rinaldi married Sylvia Nott at a young age, having been arranged to be married by their parents. They had two children; Adrian and Aria. They were each under strict rules and standards with everything they did. Augustus expected his children to be perfect little trophies. When they attended Hogwarts, they were each placed in Slytherin, just like all of their family before them. Adrian always believe he was better than everyone because his family had money and land. He picked on the students who weren't so lucky. He was a brilliant dueler and practiced on the younger boys. He respected the girls, however. One in particular held his interest, although he never dreamed he had a chance with her. He knew how things worked and knew he'd end up marrying some old troll his father picked out for him.
When he was in his seventh year, he recieved a letter from his father informing him of his soon to be wife. Marissa Rochester, the beauty he'd fawned over for years, was about to be his witch for the rest of his life. He couldn't believe his luck. He had a lot of changes to make to be worthy of her, as he soon learned. She wasn't impressed with his arrogance and sense of humor. She molded him in ways he didn't even realize but definetly didn't regret.
They had three children together and he raised them much like he had been raised, with a bit of a lighter touch thanks to Marissa. He taught Sloan quidditch and dueling and raised him to follow in his footsteps. He taught his girls to be strong and to manipulate to get their way when money wouldn't do the job. He didn't allow his girls to end up with men that weren't worth their beauty. He's still looking for a man that he believes would be good enough for his Melanie.

ROLEPLAY SAMPLE:
Adrian had the worst trouble sleeping the previous night. Sleep has never been the easiest for Adrian but some nights he spends most of the night staring at the ceiling and counting the minutes. He got up earlier than normal, just for something else to do, and bathed in his large hot bath. He spent a while just soaking before dressing for work and heading downstairs. He was surprised to find his wife already up and in the kitchen. This was unusual for the witch, especially at the odd hour it was. He was frozen in the doorway when he realized what she was doing.
His witch was cooking. Or, baking, rather. He could smell fresh cinnamon bread, his favorite, coming out of the oven. A frazzled looking Marissa was holding a steaming pan with a look of pure concentration on her face. He would have laughed if the situation wasn't so confusing.
It was a well known fact in the household: his wife didn't cook. They had house elves for that. But here she was baking his favorite bread despite the fact that she'd never held a pan in her life. "What are you doing?" He asked, surprising her when he finally found his voice. She looked between him and the pan several times before responding.
"Happy Birthday, Adrian." He was sure his heart grew three sizes then as he swooped her into his arms.
