AGE: 22
SOCIAL CLASS: Upperclass

BLOOD STATUS: Half-blood
EYES: Blue
HAIR: Brown
SKINTONE: Pale
HEIGHT & WEIGHT: 5'7

OVERALL PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION: A pale skinned man with thin lips, blue eyes that are rather dark, possibly due to the stress and a lack of sleep among other things, and brown hair is what one can see of Conor when they first see him. Next would be his pointed ears which helps to distinguish him from most people along with his lack of a smile. He dresses like any other upperclass person, in decent clothes, but he doesn't walk with confidence like the others. If anything he sort of blends in with the crowd. He's not one to stand out due to his lack of social skills.
NON-MAGICAL SKILLS: Chess, Conor loves chess more than anything. There's just something about the game that gives him more satisfaction than all the money he has. It's a game of wits and can be somewhat unpredictable and that's what he enjoys the most. He also likes horeseback riding. It's not his favorite thing to do, but he does enjoy riding horses in his free time. He also has an expanse of knowledge when it comes to History. He can tell you some very interesting facts about most countries, whether it be magical facts or muggle facts.
MAGICAL SKILLS: In regards to magical skills, he took an interest in Ancient Runes and while he has not perfected the skill of all runes, he has a roundabout knowledge for them. Potions is also a skill he has acquired, but he does not bother with it because he hates Potions in school, forced to study and learn it by his controlling father. He has recently took up studying curse breaking, but he is unsure of whether he will pursue such a career, but it is challenging and interesting.
WEAKNESSES: Conor is of course human and he has many weakness, some have yet to become noticeable by him. He has lived a very reserved, if not secluded life. Under the watchful eye of his father he has not had the chance to get to know himself. Conor is very unsure of himself and often second guesses things. He does not speak out against things he knows his wrong and will often pretend as if they did not occur. His social skills are very weak and he often throws small dinners or masquerade balls in hopes of building his social life, but mostly sits back and watches everyone from a distance. Generally no one knows who the host is, aside from the host being of the Zephyrus family. He is a very quiet person of few words and when spoken to he has a difficult time holding a proper conversation.
STRENGTHS: Like his weaknesses, Conor doesn't know all of his strengths. He is still young and learning. A few of his strengths include his intelligence. He is a very smart boy even though he doesn't think so. He's also considerate. When he had the option of driving the family business into the ground at the expense of his younger cousin he decided against it, not wishing to destroy the life of a family member. The exact opposite of what his father and grandfather would have done. He has quite a few qualities that show that he is his mother's child. He is a rational person and often thinks before he acts.
QUIRKS & HABITS: Whenever he is unsure of what to say in a conversation or he's nervous he gives a shy little smile before he looks away and runs his hand through his hair.
OVERALL PERSONALITY DESCRIPTION: Conor has yet to learn who he really is. He doesn't know what he likes or dislikes, not like most people would and he's sort of shy. His social skills are less than perfect, but he compensates by at least trying to socialize. He has many qualities that his mother possessed, being kind and caring and taking pleasure in the smallest things, even when he doesn't notice it. He is also passionate about all things muggle, but will never stand up for them if some belittles them. He has an inferiority complex and is very much aware of it. He rarely engages in human contact and tries to stay under the radar as much as possible. He works for the Ministry in hopes of finding out what he likes and wishes to find someone that will share his wealth, but not because of the money like his step-mother did with his father. Conor isn't an arrogant spoiled rich kid, he knows that money won't buy him happiness and hopes that whoever he finds to share his life with will feel the same.

CHARACTER HISTORY: Conor Francis Zephyrus II was a well respected wizard. A potions master, a business man, and a bibliophile with a mass collection of books. He craved attention and power and being born into a wealthy and powerful family, that desire only grew. He was named the future heir of the Zephyrus family which would only boost his ego. Conor Francis would act as if he were a king and everyone below him were mere peasants. The lower class were scum and the middle class were not worth his time. Even his siblings were but mere tools who were forced to answer to him.
Conor had it all, but he would have to find a wife if he were to continue the perfection of his life. The beginning of his sixth year he would be promised the engagement of a half-blood third year, Sara Anne Lovett, a Ravenclaw girl who was very outspoken and would fit well in the Zephyrus household. To Conor Francis' dismay, Sara would pass of fever over the summer after his seventh year. The threat of losing his title of future heir would cause him to do the unspeakable. His younger brother, James Zephyrus, who was a year younger than him had already requested an engagement to a wealthy girl and if they were to have a son first, their father Conor James Zephyrus would skip over his beloved firstborn son in order to keep the family line strong.
The unthinkable begin with a thought. 'What if I could kill Sara or maybe even James?' A thought turned into a plan and a plan turned into action. In the death of night Conor Francis would sneak into his brother's room and slip him a poison that stopped his heart. The young man could not imagine a life without power, without wealth, without respect! He had killed his own brother and without remorse. The next morning the family was in mourning, but Conor Francis found himself overjoyed. He had saved his birthright! He quickly searched for a wife now that he no longer had to worry about James. His youngest brother was only eleven and would never marry before him, so he left Edward to his own devices and his sisters were no threat.
The next year meant listening to apologies about the loss of James at every dinner and ball. Conor Francis took no note of it. Instead he focused on finding a wife. The last thing he expected was to come across a muggle woman, Olivia Marie Shire. She was a gorgeous brunette with bright brown eyes and a smile that warmed the icy heart of the eldest Zephyrus son. It was of course not love at first sight. He was a halfblood and rich and she was a muggle who knew nothing of the wizarding world. However, he could not help but find her to be good company as she offered him bread and tea as he sat in the shop where she worked. Her hair was tied into a bun atop her head and as she served him in silence, he considered making her a maid. The next year meant coming to the tea shop on the corner and speaking with her every now and again before he actually asked her to a simple walk near the river. Another year would pass by before she was introduced to his family.
Conor James Zephyrus was horrified at the thought of allowing a muggle into his family. Half-blood or not he would not allow some magicless woman into his household. This caused a great rift between Conor Francis and his father, but the boy's mother, Margaret Lillian Zephyrus was more than willing to give the muggle girl a chance. She talked her husband into allowing a marriage between the two and the following year, a seventeen year old Olivia would marry a twenty-one year old Conor Francis in Wiltshire. Two months later Olivia would find out she was with child.
She would give birth on January 1st, 1862 to Conor Edgar Zephyrus III.
Unlike his father, Conor Edgar Zephyrus III did not enjoy the fame and fortune. He did not take interest in his father's estate and business. As a child he was forced to study day in and day out with a private tutor. Playing with the other children of his neighborhood was forbidden. He lived in an almost routine state. Waking up, eating breakfast at the table with his mother and father before going to the library to study for several hours before being released for the day. Conor took no pleasure in this lifestyle. It was dull and boring and he longed to play alongside the children that he could hear outside the window. Whenever his father was away on business outside of the country he would sneak out and try to play with them, only to be scolded by the maids and his tutor. He always expected his mother to defend him, but she simple sat on the couch knitting her life away. A brainwashed slave to the life she'd be drawn into.
At nine year of age Conor had become interested in things like chess and horseback riding. Hunting was something he did not care for, but it did not mean his father would not take him on such trips. Something about him having to look good in the public eye. Conor never fully understood that statement until he was older. The dinners and meetings were always tiring and he often sat on the steps and ignored the people that came and went. Their laughing irritated him and their children were snobbish and stuck up and of no interest to him. Sure he was spoiled and rich, but he didn't have the arrogance to go with it. When it became apparent that he was a wizard, his father hired another tutor, one that would allow him to get a head start before he'd be offed to Hogwarts. Conor spent much time learning about magic, taking up interest in things such as History, Astronomy, and Ancient Runes.
The week before Conor's first year at Hogwarts his grandparents would come over to wish him a fair well, alongside his cousins Myrtle and Jennie Clancy, the twin daughters of his father's sister, Jenna Clancy and her husband, Robert Clancy. Both girls would be first years just like himself. While the twins were being pampered by their grandmother, Conor would be joining his father and grandfather in a lecture that would remind him that he was above everyone else and that power and success was all that mattered. Conor did not believe a word of it. He was nothing like the two of them. The most he shared was their name Conor Zephyrus. He had yet to understand why his mother would give him such a horrid namesake. He often asked her as a young boy and she only replied with, 'It's a family name. A strong name. Be proud of it.' He suspected that his father had something to do with it. Why couldn't they simply name him Edgar instead?
Hogwarts was a very new experience for Conor. To start, he would be spending much time with his cousins, both who were also very stuck up. The second thing would be that he would not have a maid at his side at every waking moment to help him live. It was quite refreshing, but he was also very isolated, starting from the very beginning. Everyone seemed to have their friends already and the twins were too engrossed in themselves. Conor was friendless and while this seemed like the perfect opportunity to make friends, his father had to go and tell him that he was not to mingle with anyone that was not of the upperclass. He wanted to introduce Conor to his colleagues children, but Conor politely declined the offer, stating that he didn't need help succeeding in such a simple task. His father been ecstatic to here that while he mother simply kissed him goodbye and wished him good luck as well as telling him to write often. Sometimes he wondered if his mother was really there or if she were no more than an empty shell.
The first year went by before Conor could get a grasp on things. He couldn't make friends like he wanted to because he was always worried his father wouldn't approve, but he was able to learn some things about himself. He liked his History class and Muggle Studies and he was attracted the muggle lifestyle. The few friends he did have were mostly muggleborns and those who were not were of the upperclass for the sake of appeasing his father. He wrote his mother more often than not because he missed her dearly, but rarely to his father. He took notice of things like Myrtle and Jennie watching him when they thought he wasn't looking, probably reporting in to his father. He also learned that things like chess and quidditch were fun, but potions was difficult, which did not sit well with his father who was a potion's master. He tried explaining his experiences to his mother, but she was a muggle and knew very little of what he spoke of. This upset him very much and his father took note of it.
That summer Conor would focus on playing quidditch in order to joined the quidditch team. His mother would watch him fly on the broom from the porch. He was sure that she thought it to be fascinating. He hoped that she would be able to come to his matches if he made the team. He always knew that like himself, she took pleasure in the tiniest things, mostly when his father was not around. They would play games of wizard chess and she would laugh softly at the actions of each piece, or talk about muggle things. It was as though those moments were their little secret.
Conor was glad for the second year to come, but it did not turn out to be the way he wished. For starters, none of his friends from before would speak to him, in fact they avoided him like the plague. Even over the break he'd noticed that their letters had suddenly stopped. He'd tried not to think much of it. The second thing was that his upperclass friends tried to spend much more time with him, but Conor rejected their advances. Again he was friendless and whenever he tried to write his mother, she only wrote back with, 'You should associate more with those who are half-bloods or purebloods of the upper class.' He felt that their secret bond was being torn apart by an invisible hand. That bond strengthened when she came to watch his first quidditch match of the year. Conor had been glad to hear that she and his father was proud, but once his mother was away, his father had pulled him aside and told him about every mistake he'd made, every move that he could have made, and how he needed to start working harder in his classes, especially potions because he would taking over the Potion shop branch in Magical London. The rest of the year meant late night studying for a class that he dreaded.
In the following summer, Conor awoke in the middle of the night to his mother entering his room and walking towards his window. She pulled it open and stared at the ground four stories before them. 'I love you Conor.' She didn't even look at him before she jumped. Conor's screams woke everyone in the house, including his aunts and uncles, grandparents, and cousins. All of which were conveniently staying the weekend at his home for a dinner party. The next morning the house was filled with hushed whispers and quiet condolences. Conor had hid in his bedroom as he listened to his father speak with the Daily Prophet, claiming how his mother had always been a bit distant with the world and how he'd married her in hopes of giving her a better life, but how muggles were unstable and dangers to the wizarding world and themselves. Conor had known it then and there, his father had somehow murdered his mother in cold blood. He didn't know how, but he knew that he had. However he could not call his father out. The man was powerful and clearly dangerous. Whatever his motive was, Conor was unwilling to accept it. He'd always heard that his deceased uncle James Zephyrus had died in a very odd manner. A young man dying in his sleep because his heart stopped was unimaginable, especially when he was so healthy and energetic. His father had always commented that the energy was what killed him.
Three months after Olivia's death, his father got engaged to a woman named Edith. She was middle-class, but her father owned a shop that was later merged with one that Conor Francis owned. It helped boost the Zephyrus family wealth after the two married six months after their engagement. Conor became withdrawn. His stepmother was thrilled at the possibility of power and wealth and took full advantage of it. He was suddenly being ignored and the maids took to being a motherly figure, but it was not the same.
His time at Hogwarts no longer felt special. He stopped playing Quidditch and focused on Potions and associating with the Upperclass people that his father had introduced him to. Every year went by in a blur. His parents were too focused on their wealth and soon Conor started to act out. He was emotionally torn. He missed his mother, his missed quidditch and his friends. He took to vandalizing the school and started bullying those below him. He even went as far as purposely mixing the wrong potions to cause a fire in class and pushed some girl into the Black Lake just because he could. All his actions did was further upset his father who would lecture him for hours on end about how such behavior would not help him succeed in life. His step-mother would only narrow her eyes and talk about how it was to be expected since his mother was a filthy muggle.
The year after his graduation, the eighteen year old went to work at the business that his father had delivered. Conor didn't like it at all and the longer he worked there the less and less social he became, not that he was a social butterfly to start with. He became aware of a few things that he probably shouldn't have, like the fact that his father was embezzling money from his step-mother's father's business. Of course the woman was too ridiculously caught up in the money that was coming her way to notice that she was being played. Conor was sickened by the idea of how the Zephyrus family ran things. His father had once told him, 'Sometimes you have to get your hands dirty to get to the top.' That was just a few of the things he learned while working under his father.
In the spring his step-mother passed away of fever. Conor didn't shed a single tear. He'd never liked the woman, but his father seemed legitimately broken. Conor suspected he would, considering that Edith had been the wife his grandfather had wanted Conor Francis with from the beginning. That and Edith had loved the life of luxury unlike his own mother Olivia. The following months he watched his father slowly deteriorate. Money could only by so much. Three days before his nineteenth birthday his father passed away from what Conor believed to be heartache. Secretly he thought the death had been merciful. The man deserved to be in Azkaban for his crimes.
Now the sole heir of the Zephyrus family, Conor had to make a decision. Continue the family business or pursue something that interested him. Conor spent a year working the business on his own. He considered selling it to Myrtle or Jennine, or maybe even his younger cousin Aurthur who was the son of his youngest Aunt. Aurthur was only seventeen and would probably run the business into the ground, which Conor had no protest against but he didn't want to ruin his cousin. He decided after the year was up to shut down the business, compensating all employees with a rather decent pay for their services. Noting him to be much kinder than his father and grandfather.
When he turned twenty-one he started work at the Ministry. He had always been comfortable around muggles so applying for a job in the office as a Muggle Liaison seemed like a good start. Now that he's been working there for a year, he feels a bit more comfortable about being on his own. He doesn't use the money that he gained in inheritance unless he's paying the maids, cook, and butler. While he does not like parties, he throws them every now and again for the wizarding community to make new friends and associates, as well as build a better reputation around the family name. He also hopes to capture the eye of someone he can share his wealth with. He doesn't very much like being in that awfully large house by himself, but he doesn't know how to hold a proper conversation either and he has no intentions of just picking any girl to marry.
Right now he's just trying to figure his life out. Without his father breathing down his neck he can finally clear his head and figure himself out as well. It's quite refreshing for Conor, which makes people question the relationship between him and his father, but he ignores them for the most part.
