Dear Laila, While it has been several days since we have had the chance to see one another, I do apologize. I hope this letter will suffice in my absence, and that you will not be too ill with me. I have not forgotten you, nor will I ever. I hope all is well for you, and that you mother is in fair health. I have a free day approaching very soon and felt it best to ask if you would like to accompany me to London so that we might see a show at the Adelphi Theatre. Everything is well for me, things are going okay with mother and she is doing better with the day. Carrying a child is hard I guess. The letter does suffice though I had at least expected some sweets with it next time, I am glad you haven't forgotten me, would have been a shame if you did right? I would also love to see a show at the Theater, I am sure my parents will allow it though I am glad you decided on asking me first.

It is good to know that you are well and so is your mother. I wish her the best of luck during this time. I apologize for not attaching gifts and I will make sure to send some with this one. I do hope you enjoy the chocolates. Maybe when I return to Russia around the time of Christmas I shall return with sweets and desserts. Do you enjoy foreign foods? Not even the strongest potions or magic could cause me to forget you Laila. You seem to have a hold on me like no other. It is a rather strange, yet enjoyable feeling. I will send word when I have gotten approval from your parents.

Tobias,
Mother can be a little cranky sometimes due to the child she carries but I do think things should be fine, I am indeed, really glad with the chocolates you added. Never expected you to do something like that, such a nice idea. I haven’t really had any foreign foods but a few so I guess I like them. I’ll be awaiting then till you got the right word from my father, I can’t wait to see you again.

Of course I would send you sweets if you asked. I only wish to give you the best and all that you desire, if you permit. I hope that in the oncoming weeks we will be able to spend a bit more time together. Maybe you can come to Cornwall once more and enjoy the open fields. I suspect that there will be much to talk about in person.

Tobias,
Father had decided not to let me get out of the house for a while, 31 December he said I could leave again, so maybe we could shift our meeting some time so I won’t get into trouble. I have no idea what I did wrong but with mother getting close to delivering a child I guess it is for the best we wait a month or so before we meet again so she can rest without worrying for us. How does that sounds?

I accept your apologies, I do not think ill of you though I would love to see you again; it has been a long time already as my farther had forbidden me to leave the house. Now I am allowed to leave once more and if it isn’t too much trouble I would love to go somewhere again. I will ask my father if you are allowed to come by in the upcoming days but I am sure he will allow it.
