OVERALL PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION: Jasper has not yet reached his full height, as he is a growing boy in progress. He has deep-set, light brown eyes, that appear to harbor a depressed soul, though he would argue against that. When he smiles with his thick, wide lips, his eyes light up and have a certain sparkle to them. His nose and face are both tall, with his thick locks set atop his head styled exactly the same as his father. With a thick neck, wide shoulders, and long body with strong physical characteristics appearing as he ages; Jasper is finally making the transition from boyhood to manhood in his physical appearance.



NON-MAGICAL SKILLS: Horseback riding and fencing are two hobbies he's been participating in since the age of six. He speaks conversational Turkish and knows the very basics of Arabic.

MAGICAL SKILLS: Dueling and Potion-making. He is still developing both skills and will possibly gain more in the future.

BEST/WORST CLASSES: Potions, DADA, and Arithmancy are his best classes, while Transfiguration, Astronomy, and Divination are his worst.

WEAKNESSES: Self-deprecating; he is far too harsh on himself. He has a tendency to take risks when good opportunities arise, not caring for the consequences that may arise until later. He's not very trusting towards others, nor is he a loyal person when it comes to secret-keeping.

STRENGTHS: Ambitious; though it is rare for him to be ambitious, when Jasper is very focused on something he will put his all into it. He has a very good control over his emotions in most situations, though not all. He's sometimes sympathetic to others' needs and problems, and has proven to be a comfort when the need arose. 

QUIRKS & HABITS: He has a morning routine which he must follow each day or be left feeling as if he's forgotten to do something the whole day. The routine is as follows: fix bed, wash face, shower, brush teeth, get dressed, then fix his hair. Each day, he awakes at 6:30 AM, without fail. As part of habit, he always signs his name in cursive writing, with the 'J' being the largest letter of all.

OVERALL PERSONALITY DESCRIPTION: It is accurate to say that Jasper possesses above average intelligence, yet he does not seem the type as he fails to learn from past experiences. For his age, he has a moderate amount of self-discipline and is focused on his schoolwork/current goals. He is both an extroverted and solitary person, enjoying the company of friends while at the same time enjoying moments of solitude. He's often unhelpful when it comes to bothersome matters such as gossip or fighting between students, choosing to be apathetic to such situations. Jasper can be rebellious when rules come into play and infringe upon something he believes he has a right to do.

He rarely praises other people's successes, just the same as he ignores his own accomplishments. Whatever scores he makes on his exams is never good enough. When it comes to judging one's own shortcomings, he is very harsh on himself.

CHARACTER HISTORY: Nearly born in his mother's family owned shoe-shop in Hogsmeade, Jasper was lucky that his grandmother managed to get his mother into the fireplace and to St. Mungos just thirty minutes before his birth. His breathing had been compromised, as he was stuck in the birth canal, with his umbilical cord wrapped around his neck twice. The Healers were able to successfully deliver him and remove the cord before the life that resided within him was stolen away before he'd even had the chance to greet the world with a cry. It was a short while before his father was able to join his mother as she lay in the hospital bed, holding her newest little bundle of joy gently in her arms. He was to be her last child, though at the time, she did not presume so.

Jasper grew up surrounded by a vast amount of family members, constantly meeting new faces when his little mind began to memorize facial appearance and structure. Putting names to those faces was hard in the beginning but easy after seeing them several times. He was constantly aware of the large size of his family compared to the sizes of the families of other children his age. At one point in time, he was embarrassed and asked his grandfather why he had to have so very many children. The old man had replied with laughter only, leaving Jasper without a solid answer to his question. When he revealed this to his mother, she'd admonished him. That left young Jasper still without an answer, bringing about a curiosity in his spirit.

Being closest in age to his brother Camden, the two ended up spending much of their time together, along with their brother, Gilbert. When his sisters were married, he sat calmly at the weddings before the reception, where the table was filled with all kinds of sweets. After Celestia's wedding, his parents learned not to allow him to eat too much sugar again, so at Tanith's wedding he wasn't allowed near the dessert table. Jasper was able to fill his sweet tooth to his content during his first year at Hogwarts each evening. To his dismay, he gained many a toothache that year and eventually his taste for sweets was lost.
