OVERALL PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION:
Evelyn isn't short, especially not compared to most women. However she isn't very tall either. Her most outstanding feature are her almost black eyes which always look cheerful and friendly. Her skin is caramel colored and she has some birthmarks here and there. Some are in her face which she feels less comfortable about however she is over all quite happy with her body. She has curves but not overly so. Her hair has a curly texture which she tried to straighten now and then but without much success. In the end she managed to embrace her black curls which reach till her shoulders. Evelyn always wears earrings and is seen in simple clothing most of the time. There is always a big open smile on her face which she uses to cheer people up.
NON-MAGICAL SKILLS:
Evelyn is good with children but doesn't have much outstanding skills really. However she is good in making people smile and cheering them up. The only things she excels in is her healing abilities in both muggle and magical way. At some point in her life she learned how to ride horse but doesn't do it often.

Evelyn is good with healing magic but far from perfect, each day she gets a little better. Evelyn was never talented in something, she usually had average grades and didn't stand out. She managed to do her NEWTS though.
WEAKNESSES:
Evelyn can be a cry baby, she is often seen crying for other people and wants to help them no matter what. This often goes at the expense of her own well being. With two jobs, she's often tired and run out but that doesn't stop her from wanting to help. Usually she takes things a little too personal and feels bad after receiving critic. Sometimes she can get a little chaotic when she tries to do a lot of things at the same time and ends up forgetting what she was doing as first.
STRENGTHS:
Whenever she has something bothering her she'll cry a few times but learns to accept things fast. Despite her sensitive side, she'll stand up for what she thinks is right and can be brave when needed to be. Evelyn never was dependent on people nor will she be. However she does like having her friends and family around. She'll always remain positive no matter what. Her greatest wish is to become a mother and live in a happy family, she loves taking care of people. Evelyn has shown managing to put herself into somebody else to feel what they're going through. It doesn't take much to make her happy, she enjoys all the little things in life.

It may take time but Evelyn wouldn't quickly hold a grudge against someone unless something horrible has happened. Her patience levels variate with a person, she gives children more patience than adults because she expects an adult to be more responsible. CHARACTER HISTORY:
Evelyn is born the eldest out of the three Shacklebolt siblings. Ever since she was young, she enjoyed helping her mommy around the house and taking care of her baby brother and sister. Her father worked at the ministry in the centaur division and their mother was always home taking care of the children and the herbs she was growing. Father was a pureblood Shacklebolt and mother a muggleborn witch. However she'd never experienced any negative thoughts from her father's side of the family. Violet was welcomed and so were Evelyn and her siblings. Their father was strangely obsessed with anything horse like and they've owned one as well. The quiet and peaceful farm, gave her a easy childhood. She enjoyed playing with the animals, learning about them and the herbs her mother was growing. Already quickly were they linked to the potions she once was going to study at Hogwarts. Her siblings were fun to play around with, and she loved going on adventures with them.
When she first went to Hogwarts, she was a little nervous just like everyone else but more she was eagered to find out all about there was to know. Sorted in the house of the lion, she developed her Chivalry and Courage over the years. There were times when she, like every other teenage girl was feeling uncomfortable in her own skin. However she managed to get through and when she was seventeen, she learned to appreciate her beauty for what it was. Also she became more casual with her looks, not caring to impress the other women because she was already feeling confident enough. From time to time could insults tear holes in her confidence but she always tried never to let it on.
Her Hogwarts time was nothing special, she had a few close friends and could get along with most people. Her grades were nothing special but enough to pass both OWLS and NEWTS. Healing, Potions and Herbology were her best courses. After Hogwarts, she knew clearly what she wanted and started healer training at St. Mungos. There she was transported after her training to the children and pregnant women department. Her kind and bubbly personality helped a lot with these patients.
Her first patient was when she was only eighteen, which happened to be Ambrosia Malfoy who would in the future be her mother in law. The woman's eldest son was present and he had supported his mother during the confinement. However when the baby girl was born without eyesight, a happy moment turned into a painful silence. Evelyn felt like it was her fault, believing she could have done something. Only it turned out to be something which happened during the pregnancy. Evelyn supported the Malfoys and told them that their baby girl still could live a wonderful life. Loxius, the eldest son found a great friend in her and since that day they remained having contact.
Her feelings for the handsome and intelligent blonde, started to develop quickly. However how would a successful pureblood man choose for a simple girl like her? Until somewhat before her 20th birthday she believed her feelings would always remain one sided but that certain day, he suddenly asked to court her. It was totally unexpected, especially since they never had even kissed. With tears of happiness in her eyes, she fell into his embrace and was sure it was the beginning of something beautiful. It was the same year when she started her part time job at Blake's orphanage, taking care of the health of the children and workers.
While their relationship was no secret from her family, Loxius feared what the Malfoys were going to think of it. Jeremiah had warned them several times, and even tried to talk it out of her head. "This will never work on long term. The Malfoys will never agree with this. Please don't give up your life to be with him. You're my little angel and I don't want to see you get hurt." In 1882 Mrs. Malfoy had a miscarriage where Evelyn had been present at, however she hadn't been in charge. The elder woman had said it was enough for her and she'd never want to try to have children again. Evelyn held her hand and felt truly bad for her. Everything took a turn for the worst when on 11 October 1883, her fiance and his boss got brutally murdered. There were no suspects and the case was closed without and end. Evelyn was heart broken and it took her days to progress her lost. She found support with her family, and her daily routine kept her going.
