Eleanor Jane Martin - Malfoy -
NAME: Eleanor Jane Martin
AGE: 16
SOCIAL CLASS: Lower Class
STATUS: Single
PLAY-BY: Eliza Taylor
BlOOD STATUS: Half-bred (there wasn’t an option for the profile so I just put none of the above is this okay?) (Half-Veela)
EYES: Dark Blue
HAIR: Blonde
SKINTONE: pale complexio
HEIGHT & WEIGHT: 5 ‘5’
DISTINGUISHING MARKS: Has a Marylin Monroe Beauty mark.
OVERALL PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION: Ella, thanks to her mother’s Veela Heritage, is a breathtaking beautiful young woman with a pale complexion that often gets a little sunburned in the summer. She has dark blue eyes and medium length blonde hair, the trade mark of the Malfoy family line it seems. She is about an inch taller than her mother and enjoys wearing pretty dresses as well as a little makeup which people often look down on as it is something only prostitutes wear.
NON-MAGICAL SKILLS: Thanks to her Veela charm and the years she has spent watching her mother, Ella can flirt easily and loves to do so. She finds it hilarious when boys who are known to be tough and ‘scary’ crumple with nervousness when she leans in close and begins to bat her eyelashes in their direction. She is an excellent cook and seamstress, the first she learned by herself as her mother wasn’t around often to cook for her and the last she learned from one of the girls at the Parlour. Despite the fact that she finds school incredibly boring Ella seems to have a real talent for memorization as she barley opens a book, she seems to retain things just by listening to the teacher. However this has limitations as she can only retain things when the teacher is very passionate about what they are talking about, meaning they make it interesting with their tone of voice or in their body language.
MAGICAL SKILLS: Ella’s only magical talent is flying, she loves to fly, however she refuses to try out for Quidditch as she finds the game barbaric and doesn’t want to bruise or break anything.
BEST/WORST CLASSES: Her best classes aren’t anything she is interested in career wise, she does well in them because of the Professors: Astronomy, Transfiguration, and potions. Her worst classes are her worst either because of the Professors themselves or she just never cared for it: History of Magic, Defense against the Dark Arts, and Ancient Runes.
WEAKNESSES: If anyone wanted to make Ella upset, the quickest way to do so would be to comment on her appearance as she takes a lot of pride when it comes to her looks. She also doesn’t get along with girls very well as she views them as competition when it comes to gaining a man’s affections which causes her to become cruel and vicious. The only girls who she can get along with are the ones at the parlour and that is because they obviously go after the older boys and leave her age group alone however that will change when they get older.
STRENGTHS: She is blunt and will tell people exactly what is on her mind, if she cares for you she will say it as nicely as possible but if she doesn’t she won’t sensor herself. Ella is someone you want on your side because once she cares for you (Which is rare) she won’t let you go and will stick up for you without a second thought.
QUIRKS & HABITS: She doesn’t like to lie but if she does she will always start to fidget (touch her face/hair etc). When she is upset/mad Ella takes out a brush and begins to brush her hair which helps to calm her down.
OVERALL PERSONALITY DESCRIPTION : Eleanor is more than just a pretty face; she is very intelligent for a lady of her status, though she doesn’t try as hard as the others. Because of her excellent memory she was able to get a good enough grade to move onto her sixth year at Hogwarts though she is thinking about not going back next year because she hates school. Despite the fact that she is smart she refuses to let anyone know and will sometimes answer a question incorrectly or refuse to raise her hand when the Professor asks a question. This is thanks to her mother’s influence as it was rare when Ella saw her mother, however when she did her mother often spoke of how pretty Ella was and how she hoped she was a fool as that was the best thing a girl could be in this world.*
Ella has a hard time letting people in. She doesn’t get along with girls that are her age because she gets jealous really easily when it comes to getting a boys attention causing her anger to get the best of her, she has been known to make several girls cry all because the boy Ella liked, liked them instead. When it comes to boys she always sees them as someone to flirt with because she finds it hilarious when they clamp up around her. She never sees them as something more than that because she doesn’t believe in love, which can you blame her? With all the arranged marriages going on and the way she was brought up…she believes it is just a fairy tale and not something for her. However when she does care for someone she softens up quite a bit and will never try to hurt them on purpose.
Eleanor is a very blunt person who always speaks the truth because she has nothing to lose. She isn’t a part of the higher class so no one pays her any attention; she won’t ruin any marriage prospects because who would want to marry their son off to someone who may very well follow in her mother’s footsteps? Her reputation won’t be tainted because it already is due to her mother and the fact that she likes to wear makeup. The only time she will sugar coat the truth is if she cares about you, everyone else gets it exactly how it is without a blink.

CHARACTER HISTORY: Eleanor Jane Martin (Malfoy) was born August 05, 1867 in the parlour where her mother Helena not only worked for a living but also lived, her father Tomkin was nowhere to be found, not that Helena told him she was pregnant, and Ella suspects that if it were at all possible her mother wouldn’t have been there either. Her mother was twenty-three at the time Ella was born and was not ready to have a child which showed in how she raised Ella, or rather how she didn’t. Helena took care of Ella up until the young half-veela could walk and talk, then Helena only came home in the dead of the night to her daughter who was still wide awake waiting for her mother to come home, then when Ella woke up the next morning her mother was always gone and she was left to her own devises. Despite the fact that the other ladies at the parlour disliked having a kid around and refused to babysit her because then they would lose an hour/days’ pay, they did keep an eye on her and kept her out of trouble when they could. The only mother/daughter time the two shared was in the morning when Helena brushed Ella’s hair and got the younger girl ready, being shy Ella rarely spoke to her mother, however Helena always commented on Ella’s beauty, saying how pretty she was and that she hoped she was a fool like herself, stating that men didn’t like smart women.
However when Ella was on one of her walks she noticed an older lady who always sat on a bench looking at a book. Curious Ella walked up and asked what she was doing, when the lady answered Ella scrunched up her nose and asked why, the lady answered simply ‘to get away from this world,’. After a few more times of seeing this strange lady (strange because she never saw a lady read before) Ella finally walked up and demanded that she read to her. The lady did and Ella slowly began to piece together the word itself with what it was, she wasn’t a very good reader (this slowly changed over the years) but she knew more than her mother did which both scare her and made her happy, which confused her. Keeping in mind what her mother always said Ella acted as if she couldn’t read.
When she was nine years old she asked her mother who her father was while Helena was brushing her hair. Rubbing her lips together Helena told Ella that her father was a cruel man, that she didn’t know what his first name was but knew his last name as he said it with pride. She was a Malfoy something her mother said she had to keep a secret because they were cruel people who could bring her harm if they wanted to, which was the only motherly concern her mother showed Ella.
When Ella was eleven she received her Hogwarts letter, she had shown some magic abilities over the years so this didn’t come as a surprise to her, what did surprise her was the fact that her mother told her she could go because she had money saved up over the years. She didn’t say this with pride, however she said this as if this was all very annoying and that she was upset that Ella was even happy to go.
When she was standing at the platform Helena told her daughter that some Malfoy’s would be in attendance at the school and that she had to be careful.
