OVERALL PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION: Renée is like a porcelain doll. She has flawless skin, beautiful green eyes, and bright blond hair. A petite girl with a forever smile and a cute little laugh that will tickle your ears. She's almost like a delicate little flower, generally with a book up to her face, curiously peeping over the pages whenever her name is called.  Her favorite colors are gold, white, and blue, so she will often be found wearing something of the type on her person.



NON-MAGICAL SKILLS: Renée loves anything that has to do with gardening. While she doesn't like to get dirty, she does love to do the things that her mother once enjoyed. That and it's about the only thing her and her sister can do together now that Jacky is starting to develop her own ways. Art is another thing that this young lady enjoys. She can sit for hours just painting a picture, even if it is only a single rose. Aside from that she's very up-to-date with the political world and speaks French, English, and Italian quiet fluently.

MAGICAL SKILLS: Magic is something that Renée has no trouble understanding. She studies it quiet frequently, searching for the source and things of the sort. Her performance in Charms and Ancient Runes is outstanding and although her strong points are classes that don't necessarily require magic, she knows quite a few tricks. She's much rather learn about it than perform it, but in the instance that she does, she knows her stuff.

BEST/WORST CLASSES: Herbology, Charms, History of Magic, Ancient Runes, Art, and Arithmancy are her best classes, Ancient Runes and Herbology being at the top of that list. Her worst classes are DADA, Flying, Divination, and Astronomy.

WEAKNESSES: She's terrified of failing, plain and simple. Renée's mother always told her that she would have to marry some man because women weren't seen as political figures or people of importance. Renée can't quite understand how that can be true when she knows so much. She knows it's ridiculous, but she could be Minister one day. She's also a perfectionist, which can be seen as both a strength and a weakness. For Renée, perfection is the real beauty, which causes her to over think the simple things and spend way too much time on one subject. She's also far too caught up in perfecting herself to be bothered with those around her, not saying she doesn't have friends, she just prefers a few close ones.

STRENGTHS: Renée is a walking, talking book. She loves knowledge more than anything and is always willing to learn something new. She spends her days reading more books than she can count and never fails to find inspiration through the words. She can also keep a level head, doesn't care to argue much, and can analyze just about anything you ask her too. She can tell what type a person you are after just one conversation, and isn't very shy at all.

QUIRKS & HABITS: Renée often has a book in her hand, whether it is when she is walking, talking, or even eating. Whenever you try to talk with her while reading she will slowly look at you over the top of the book and give you a smile using her eyes, albeit her focus will quickly return to her book.

OVERALL PERSONALITY DESCRIPTION: Overall she's a simple yet sophisticated girl. She had a passion for knowledge and refuses to let society's norms dictate her life. She is often commented on her beauty, but she doesn't let it distract her, for she has more important things to do than keep up with her naturally good looks. She's a sweet girl who has no problem with helping a friend, and she can talk for days on end about places like Greece and Rome. Normally she can be found in the Library or the Herbology classroom, or even just staring out at the quad, thinking about painting a scene that will completely capture the moment.

CHARACTER HISTORY:

Born March 29th, Renée was the first child of Jaques and Cecile. The two parents had been hoping for a new addition to the family for some time, and when they got word that Cecile was with child, it became the highlight of their lives. Renée was happily spoiled, but she wanted more in life. Yes, she was the only child and it was nice to get whatever she desired, but the young girl had a thirst for knowledge. She didn't want make up and dolls, she wanted books upon books, and so her parents gave her just that. When her younger sister was born, Renée had plans to be the best big sister she could be. She loved the thought of someone looking up to her and relished the fact that she had more knowledge than the baby of the family.

As the two drew older, Renée found her sister to be the perfect partner in crime. They were inseparable, but it was clear that the two had different mind sets. Jacky wanted to be spoiled and pampered, and although it was a nice dream, Renée wanted to travel to the far ends of the world. She wanted to study Ancient Runes and History. More so she wanted learn about ancient culture and the way the human species survived. Science, History, it was all like magic for Renée. Moving to England was only the start of that soon to be dream. She was fluent in English and was more than capable of making friends. Her beauty was something that many admired, but she didn't feel the need to flaunt it like her younger sister. Jacky was the boss, and Renée happily served as the brains. They were a team and nothing could tear them apart, except two years of Hogwarts without her baby sister.

Hogwarts was her one stop shop to knowledge. Most girls liked clothes, but this blond beauty liked knowledge, even if her mother had told her countless times that a woman was only to become educated enough to have common sense and then spend the rest of years serving whoever she married. Renée found that thought to be a dreadful life style. She decided that she would never marry if  it meant being forced to live such a horrid life. No, she would be a walking, talking book. Even when her mother had tried persuading her that she could read for hours on end at home.

When Jacky finally made it to Hogwarts, Renée knew then and there that they were going to go their separate ways. Her sister wanted to rule the world, but all Renée wanted was to learn and understand it. After her mother grew ill in her fourth year and passed away during Christmas break, the young girl found herself in a daze. She didn't know what was what and found it difficult to concentrate in her classes. The only reason she pulled herself together was to be strong for her younger sister, who was taking her pain out on others.

Now that she's in her sixth year, Renée only wishes to pass the year with flying colors and continue to her N.E.W.T. year. She keeps in mind that she owes it to her mother to keep an eye out for Jacky, and she tries not to cringe whenever her father speaks of a possible suitor.
