Ariadne Isabelle Fletcher
NAME: Ariadne Isabelle Fletcher
AGE: 16
SOCIAL CLASS: Middle Class (Muggle) Lower Class (by Wizarding Means)
STATUS: Single
PLAY-BY: Shelley Hennig
BlOOD STATUS: Muggleborn
EYES: Brown
HAIR: Brown
SKINTONE: Light tan
HEIGHT & WEIGHT: 5’1’, 121lbs
DISTINGUISHING MARKS: None
OVERALL PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION: Ariadne has light brown hair that reaches to the middle of her back in soft waves. Like her mother she stands on the shorter side of the spectrum at a mere 5’1’. Despite her mother and father’s wishes Ari likes to spend a lot of her time outside causing her to have a light tan to her skin which has only darkened over the years due to her situation.
NON-MAGICAL SKILLS: When her mother first told her they were learning how to cook seven year old Ariadne was miserable and always tried to hide, however now Ariadne loves it and tends to go to the Kitchens to cook when she has a lot on her mind or when she is stressed. Due to her father’s influence Ariadne can sing and play the piano, however she doesn’t enjoy it and won’t perform unless she has to.
MAGICAL SKILLS: Due to her love of cooking Ariadne excels in potions and loves to challenge herself outside of Potions Class.
BEST/WORST CLASSES: Her best class is, like I said above, Potions but she is also great at Herbology and history of magic. Her worst classes are Flying (during her first year due to her fear of heights) and Defense against the Dark Arts. She is trying her best to change her grade in Defense from Acceptable to Exceeds Expectations or even an Outstanding.
WEAKNESSES: No matter what someone does/says to her she always finds a way to forgive them, it is really hard to make her mad to the point that she refuses to even talk to someone again or help them if they need it. She will keep giving someone chances even if they don’t deserve it because she believes people can change, and that deep down people want to be better they just have to be given the chance. Now she doesn’t view this as a weakness however many people have been known to take advantage of her forgiving personality.
STRENGTHS: You can often find her in the Library with her nose in a book, she loves to read so much and will always have a book on her at all times. She is also very driven academically and wants to strive to be the best, or at least better than the purebloods who treat her horribly.
QUIRKS & HABITS: She still wears a small gold cross around her neck and has been known to mess with it while she is studying/doing homework.
OVERALL PERSONALITY DESCRIPTION: Ariadne is a very sweet girl who will always help someone in need, even if they have been known to be horrible to her, like I said she always gives people chances and will never judge someone because of their status, blood or otherwise. She loves kids and has offered to tutor some of the younger ones if they are in need of it.
At the moment she is scared, no terrified and stressed beyond belief but is trying to put on a brave face. She has nowhere to go once her sixth year is up and no way of paying for her seventh year at Hogwarts which means her dream of becoming a Healer in the Potions and Plant Poisoning Ward will be just that, a dream.

CHARACTER HISTORY: Ariadne Isabelle Fletcher was born October 2nd to Reverend Harold Fletcher and his wife Maura. Ariadne had a very quiet up bringing in her quiet neighborhood. Every Sunday the family would attend church for two to three hours where she was made to sing in the choir. Life was perfect for them, sure there were some fights here and there but they never got out of hand.
Then when Ariadne was seven she had her first bout of accidental magic, after a fight she had with her mother her. The family went to Sunday church like always after the small argument and still upset
Ariadne followed her parents, and other church goers, to the Alter where the bread and wine was supposed to change into the body and blood of Christ. Just as her mother went to drink the Blood of Christ the liquid exploded into her face just as Ariadne was thinking about the argument they had before. Confused Ari just went with what her mother told everyone, that her hand must have moved suddenly, however she knew deep down that that wasn’t it at all.
Accidents like this happened a lot over the years but Ari always explained it away as something else, a trick of the light or her imagination. Then when she was just about to turn eleven there was a knock at the door, and when she answered it a man was standing there holding a letter that changed her life forever. When the older man explained things to her parents she remembered them looking mortified, angry, and absolutely terrified.
Over the next five years her parents distanced themselves from her and pretended like she wasn’t a witch going off to Hogwarts to learn to control her devilish abilities. They told everyone she was going to an all girl’s Private School in Paris where she was learning more and more about God. Whenever she would bring up her school and what she was learning her Parents would yell at her, saying they didn’t want to know what devilish tricks she was learning and would say a silent prayer before walking away. Soon she learned to keep her mouth shut about it.
When she was about to leave for her sixth year at Hogwarts her parents told her to never come back, that they can’t handle living with a demon any longer, that they did the Christian thing by keeping her until she was able to take care of herself but now they just can’t handle it. They bought her school things for the year but told her she would have to figure something out for her seventh year.

Refusing to let her tears fall Ariadne walked along the Corridor, looking in every compartment that passed for an empty one where she could finally be left alone to think about what was plaguing her thoughts. When she finally found one she walked in, locked the doors and sat down with a huff and closed her eyes. We did the Christian thing and let you live under our roof but…we can’t take it anymore,’ her mother’s harsh words rang in her head causing a tear to trail down her cheek. She knew her and her parents didn’t get along anymore but to disown her completely because of her abilities, calling her a Demon and refusing to care about her at all was hard to comprehend. Ariadne kept thinking that this was all a very vivid dream and when she woke up she would ten again and her Professor wouldn’t be at the door to deliver the terrible news, that everything would be fixed.
Tears started to stream down her cheeks faster now as her heart sank in her chest what would she do when her sixth year was up? Where would she live? How would she pay for her seventh year? Wrapping her fingers around her necklace Ari began to mess with the gold chain as she laid down on the bench trying to push her thoughts away but they kept resurfacing until she finally slept.
