Dear Nikolas Potter, Quite frankly I don't know where to start here... Last night I arrived home to find my wife had taken in a lost child. She'd been living on the streets for some time. Her name is Bethany and she says she's a Potter. Her mother is dead from what I gathered. I was wondering if you knew anything about her? Or if she had a family member to take her in? Assuming she isn't lying about being a Potter.. Please return my owl as soon as you can. Sincerely, Adrian Rinaldi Nikolas Potter @beth Marissa Rinaldi

Adrian,
This is shocking news, I must admit. I haven't heard the name before, but I hesitate to jump to any conclusions about whether she is a Potter or not. She very well could be, I don't know how she would have come up with the name if she weren't telling the truth. Can you get any more information? The mother's name, perhaps? Or how old the child is? I loathe the idea of sending her back out on the streets.
Would it help if I came to call on the poor child?
Sincerely, Nikolas

Nikolas,
My wife has informed me that I got her name wrong. Her name is Elizabeth, not Bethany. I don't know much about the girl, as she won't speak to me. From what I gathered from Marissa, however, the mother is dead and used to work in a brothel. Her name was Victoria. That's all I know as of now. The girl isn't sure of her age but she looks about six or seven years old.
I think it might be a good idea if you came. Maybe she'll open up better if you let her know you're her family. I'll speak with Marissa about it but I'm sure she'll agree.
Sincerely,
Adrian
