EYES: Dark greenish-grey. Her eyes are almond shaped, but sometimes you cannot see the color because of her excess make-up.
HAIR: Her hair is long and thick. The color is dark brown with caramel undertones.
SKINTONE: Cora has milky white skin and no blemishes or freckles. She is very feminine and doesn’t spend too much time in the sun, so as to avoid a tan or a sunburn.
HEIGHT & WEIGHT: 5’5, 115 pounds. She is short compared to other girls her age, and very thin. Her feminine curves are also very small compared to other girls her age, but she doesn’t let it get her down. She knows she is beautiful.
DISTINGUISHING MARKS: She is gorgeous in a way that seems above all others, but she isn’t without her flaws. Her nose is upturned that seems to illustrate her haughtiness.
OVERALL PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION: Cora is a small-framed girl with dark hair and beautiful skin. She is a very pretty girl, with high cheekbones and an oval-shaped face. She has dimples when she smiles and a dainty, upturned nose. She has gracefully long fingers, and has a sort of finesse in her walk. She is very particular about how she dresses, and would never be caught dead in anything that wasn’t high fashion or fancy.
NON-MAGICAL SKILLS: Cora can play the piano and is well-versed in poetry. She also is very good at getting her way...usually.
MAGICAL SKILLS: Cora is not book smart, she could do without books. She has perfected quite a few charms and hexes, and she uses them on unsuspecting ladies who are trying to get too close to her brother.
BEST/WORST CLASSES: Her best class is charms, worst is history of magic...or history of anything, really. She is also skilled at transfiguration.
WEAKNESSES: Cora is very arrogant and haughty about the way she looks, as well as her riches. She can be highly stubborn and prideful. She throws tantrums to get her way, and does not apologize well. She is mean to those who she deems to be beneath her, or to any girl that tries to get in the middle of her relationship with her brother. She is prone to jealousy. She doesn’t pay attention in classes that she is not good at (because she is so proud), and at times will even skive those classes to do something more fun.
STRENGTHS: Cora loves her brother, and would do anything for him. She is very articulate, especially when she is trying to get her way or to get out of trouble. She is cunning and crafty, and can hold her own in a duel. She is very feminine, and knows how to get young men to notice her. She is very close with her father, and doesn’t hold it against either of her parents that her mother is a muggleborn, though she doesn’t brag about it at all. She is highly skilled at the piano, and has a fair singing voice, though it does not rival her skill with the ivories.
QUIRKS & HABITS: Cora’s laugh is high-pitched, and she uses it when other people have been hurt or are in trouble, especially if she put them there. She swishes her dress as she stands and she fidgets with the string on her hat. But overall, she carries herself well and is very gentile.
OVERALL PERSONALITY DESCRIPTION: Cora is the definition of a spoiled princess. She is wealthy, and she is not ashamed of it. She is a daddy’s girl all the way, and she is not above whining to get what she wants. She is not stupid, but she also does not study very hard. She has skill with the wand, but not with getting high marks in school. She has a very close bond with her brother, but they do argue and fight from time to time. She is very interested in the opposite sex, but she won’t engage on a deep level unless he is what she deems as perfect.
Cora loves entertaining guests, or rather, she enjoys parties. She gets this trait from her mother. She hates to be outside because she is a girly girl. She doesn’t even like to watch the quidditch matches because she is exposed to too much sun.

CHARACTER HISTORY: Cora Lucille Avery was born in 1865, minutes after her twin brother, Sebastian Mikael Avery. She has always had a very close relationship with her brother, as well as with her father. Things with her mother are fine, but she doesn’t get along as well with her as she does with the men in her life. Cora wanted for nothing. She was raised with pureblood ideals, but it was all out of whack because her pureblood-born father had married a muggleborn. Cora’s mother, Juliette, loves parties and guests, but she is a first-generation witch.
Cora’s father, Cassius, is a wealthy gentleman, and therefore has no reason to work. He owns land and runs the affairs of his estate. He was very happy when both of his children showed magical tendencies, and wanted both of them in Slytherin as he had been. Juliette had been in Ravenclaw, but Cassius always hoped that his Slytherin blood would win out.
Cora is very interested in the young men at Hogwarts, but she sets a double standard for her brother and does not want him romantically involved with any girls. She fights them off and when she gets into trouble at school, she acts as if she is too good for any of them and gets in even more trouble. She has a problem with holding her tongue. She has friends, but it is all rather superficial, other than the closeness she has with Sebastian.
