OVERALL PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION: Rupert has a lean, muscular build and is an average height for boys his age. He has thick, dark, tousled brown hair and dark brown eyes with thick eyebrows that compliment his features. His nose is slightly off center from breaking it one too many times from when he was younger and less mature then he is now.




NON-MAGICAL SKILLS: He is an amazing Pianist and has been playing since he was six years old, something he learned from his older sister Araminta who is also very skilled. He is also fluent in Turkish, as he learned it from his father because he wanted to know the language from where his family lived originally. He is good at reading people and can usually tell if someone is a good person or an awful one just by watching their movements and the way they engage with others, he is rarely ever wrong.

MAGICAL SKILLS: Rupert is a fair dueler, however his real talent lies in his healing ability. His Professor is trying to urge him to go into the Healer field and although saving people's lives is a huge draw to him,, it isn't where his passion lies which something he is currently trying to figure out.

BEST/WORST CLASSES: His best class is History of Magic as he has a deep curiosity and finds the past interesting and something everyone can learn from. His worst class is Herbology as he can't even keep his animals alive, let alone a plant, plus all the names get confusing as the plants all look the same.

WEAKNESSES: He has a hard time seeing beyond "black or white". He's aware there's a grey area, but he doesn't believe in the whole 'good people can become bad people by doing bad things'. If a good person is capable of doing bad things, then how was that person ever good? That's his thought. He's sort of conflicted about it. He claims to not be afraid of anything, citing many situations from his childhood in which he displayed bravery through what his father called "idiotic, death-defying" stunts.

STRENGTHS: Besides the fact that he is an amazing piano player, he is also very good at Quidditch and is a great flyer, both of which he takes great pride in. He is always willing to help anyone in need even if it hurts him, he doesn't even think twice about it, he claims that it is more of an instinct.

QUIRKS & HABITS: When he is around a girl he likes he becomes very shy as he is nervous and will often mess with his hair and wont make eye contact as much.

OVERALL PERSONALITY DESCRIPTION: Rupert is a very funny and outspoken young man; he doesn't lie as he believes it is wrong and will always speak the truth, only sugar coating it when he doesn't want to be seen as rude. An example of that would be when his older sister Eugene asks if a particular dress makes her look large around the tummy, if it does he would tell her that by saying the other dress looked much better on her before going back to whatever it is he was doing at the time. It doesn't work as well as he seems to think it does but it would definitely be a lot worse if he said yes it did and left it at that.

He is not an overly friendly person, but he isn't naturally mean either, meaning he isn't the type to kiss up to someone just because of their title or who their parents are, if you are nice to him then he is nice to you. He is kind, but only to those who deserve it, he wouldn't be nice to someone who was a jerk. However, Rupert has a hard time seeing beyond "black or white". He is by no means an intimidating person like his older brother Aries, instead he has a welcoming aura about him that seems to draw people in. He is not a mysterious guy by any means instead he is the type of guy to wear his heart on his sleeve, if he likes you, he will be shy about it, but he will most likely tell you how he feels.

Rupert can be stubborn when it comes to certain things he believes in and can get frustrated with people and situations, but at his core being, he is a person that needs to look out for others.

PET: His sister Margery gave him a turtle when he was five, he lost it somewhere in the house and found him in the basement corner dead five years later. When he was twelve he sent his owl Tally out to deliver a letter to his sister Constantine, the owl never returned and she never returned the letter, he believes that he is nothing to her and hasn't tried to contact her since. He use to have a frog named Harrison, however during Transfiguration Class he successfully turned him into a tea cup...before accidentally stepping on him. Despite the fact that his father refused to give him another pet with his history, he was gifted another owl last year which he named Terrance.

CHARACTER HISTORY: Rupert Selim Fawley was born Jan 23 1867 to Elizabeth Bulstrode and Micajah Fawley while they were on holiday in Turkey, which is where his ancestors were originally from. He was the last child delivered by Elizabeth before her untimely death. He was a year old and in his mother's arms just before her death. Before she took her fall down the stairwell, she dropped the infant in her arms. The infant was left wailing until his older sister; Lavinia reascended the stairs to check that he was alright. When the governess returned from Diagon Alley, she immediately took him and the younger children to the bedroom. Rupert remembers none of this, his first memory that he can recall being from when he was aged three and sitting in his father's lap as the man read the Daily Prophet, while he made whooshing noises as a charmed paper butterfly flew back and forth in front of his face.

When he was five years old his older sister Margery gave him a turtle which he named Spencer. He loved the little guy and always felt bad leaving him in the cage claiming that he wanted to be free. One night he 'forgot' to put the turtle away and ended up losing him, he searched high and low for Spencer but couldn't find him, all that was left was the basement which left him scared as he was told by one of his brothers that a monster lived down there, that is why everyone avoided it. So he told his father he looked everywhere but couldn't find him, a couple of months later his brothers locked him in the basement and Rupert finally found the turtle, dead in the corner. He was so upset that his father gave him some fish which died within a month of each other a year later. When he was twelve he sent his owl Tally out to deliver a letter to his sister Constantine in an attempt to contact his older sister, begging for her to leave her current husband and come home. She received the letter and wrote back, however the owl was intercepted and never got to Rupert who waited patiently for Tally to return. He gave up on it two weeks later, telling himself she doesn't care about him, and is angry that she never returned Tally.

He is close to his younger siblings as he never knows how to talk to his older ones especially his older brother Aries who intimidates him quite a bit as the two are polar opposites personality wise.  He often sticks up for Murdoch when Malcolm is teasing him about never talking as well as Beatrice when Lenore is giving her a hard time. He took the deaths of Bartram and Petronella quite hard and would either stay in his room for the entire day or not come home until it was time for bed.

While at Hogwarts Rupert has made a few enemies, not because he was a bully or mean, but because he stood up for people when others were giving them a hard time about their status, blood or social.
