OVERALL PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION:
Melisandre has dark brown, long wavy hair that ends at her mid back. Her eyes a brown and beautiful, just like her smile. She usually wears clothing that looks pleasant and appealing to others. She tried to keep everything about herself neat and presentable, but yet able to move around in. She has a very motherish look about her, in that she looks like a person you can approach with your problems.
NON-MAGICAL SKILLS: Melisandre is trustworthy and loyal to whom ever she is courted with, and well now, engaged to. She is also a hard worker and often does many things for others. She is very patient and a very good listener. She has a way with being able to help other people out with their problems, and let them talk about it. She is very smart and learns things fast. She is very good with math and can do semi-complicated mathematic equations in her head. She is a great mediator and can help others slow down their arguments quicker and more peacefully than if she would let them argue alone.
MAGICAL SKILLS: Melisandre is skilled in charms and potion making. She learns spells quickly and can preform them with only a few tries, and some times she can preform one with just learning the wording. Potion making is something that the witch is fond of. She loves learning how to make new potions and is pretty good at making them too.

WEAKNESSES: While Melisandre may have a strong mind, she has a humble and quiet personality. To put it short, she's a wimp. She has ideas of wanting to go against things sometimes, but stays very submissive, unless provoked to the point (which is rare) where she needs to speak out. She isn't very creative, and follows the social norm of life. She also wouldn't make a great leader, always following the pack, too scared to state what is really on her mind.
STRENGTHS: Melisandre is smart and knowledgeable about what is going on around her. She is also very good at social skills, knowing what to say and when. She is often seen as sort of "motherly" and a good listener. She has tons of patience. She is a very loyal person and keeps on promises. She is well versed in the Upper Class and is always at all the Upper Class social events. She rarely, rarely, rarely gets into arguments and is very humble. She is polite.
QUIRKS & HABITS: Melisandre enjoys talking to others and. Listens to others in lots of social circles in the upperclass, allowing herself to know a lot about other people and the goings on. The only people the girl would tell the things she hears to would be her fiancé/husband. She often cares for others and tries to help them through their sorrows.
OVERALL PERSONALITY DESCRIPTION: Melisandre is a very humble girl who is "motherly" to everyone. She rarely gets angry and is there to keep everyone calm and peaceful. She is very loyal and patient, as well as smart. She may not have a creative imagination, but it makes her more down to earth. She knows much about what is going on in the Upper Class by being such a good listener. She is very neat and pristine. She remains a very high person in the Upper Class and is a very social person. CHARACTER HISTORY: Melisandre was the second child of Demetria and Howard Selwyn, born in their estate inside the walls of York. As a baby, she was well cared for by her nanny, but not much seen by her parents, who had more important matters to attend to. She was practically raised by her very strict nanny who taught her and her brother to stay in line and be very polite. Even if she was from the lower class, Melisandre had much respect for her nanny. Her nanny was the one who was practically a parent for Melisandre and taught her many, many lessons. The nanny was who shaped Melisandre into the person she is today. This is also why Melisandre doesn't mock or be snobbish towards the lower two classes.
Melisandre was very close to her brother. The two never fought and always got along. The two would often take walks (with the nanny) around London and York together. Melisandre always cared for her brother and got many of her motherly traits from helping him through his hardships and listening to him. She still to this day cares very much for her brother.
Going to Hogwarts, Melisandre found that she was good at Charms and Potions and excelled at school in general, but what really made her stand out was how she was socially. She was a great listener and a very patient person, which made people often come to her for conversation. She always helped people through their problems and was very loyal and trustworthy. With her politeness and knowledge of upper class etiquette many of the other upper class saw her as a great upperclass citizen. This made good, as she was invited to many Upper Class social gatherings, for which she always attended.
This girl grew learning how to be an upper class socialite and a good wife to any good upperclass husband. As she is ready ti be shipped off and be wedded soon, hopefully fulfilling her dreams if having a very loving and caring family. She wants to be able to raise children the way her nanny did, and be close to them, unlike her parents were to her.
