Magdalena Elizabeth Weasley
AGE: 15
SOCIAL CLASS: Upper-class
RELATIONSHIP STATUS: Single
PLAY-BY: Isolda Dychauk
BlOOD STATUS: Pureblood
EYES: Blue with a hint of green
HAIR: Ginger and curly
SKINTONE: Very light in color and clear
HEIGHT & WEIGHT: 5'4 & 120
DISTINGUISHING MARKS: None so far, though she has extremely light eyebrows.
OVERALL PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION: Of average height and weight, Magdalena would not stick out in a crowd were it not for her curly, ginger hair. She does not share her mother's dark, exotic beauty, but rather takes after her father with his pale skin and bright blue eyes. She’s the one with the faintest of shadows underneath her eyelids, the one who smells of ink, gardenia, and jasmine green tea. You see that girl hunched over a notebook, with her fingers occasionally smudged with charcoal, with ink that will travel onto your hands when you interlock your fingers with her’s; that's Magdalena.
NON-MAGICAL SKILLS: She is a writer, always spinning tales in journals or writing little snippets of ideas beside her notes on a piece of parchment. Though she is still learning during her summers at home, Magdalena plays the violin and practices flower-arranging. She possesses a lovely voice, as she is a member of the Frog Choir.
MAGICAL SKILLS: Magdalena is still studying magic and has yet to develop an extraordinary magical talent, though her Astronomy professor says she is one of the best students of the subject.
BEST/WORST CLASSES: Best; Astronomy, Defense Against the Dark Arts, Frog Choir, Charms. Worst; Potions, Transfiguration, Herbology.
WEAKNESSES: Anxious; she is often greatly worried about matters beyond her control. Dependent; Magdalena would surely fall apart without her parents, she needs the two of them (sometimes she believes more than they need her). Dubious; often times fraught with uncertainty or doubt in herself (her writing). Meticulous; she's actually a very picky eater and is very careful and precise when it comes to her writings and schoolwork. Soft-hearted; she has a tender heart that can often lead her into trouble.
STRENGTHS: Patience; her mother has said often that she is far too patient with people. Courage; Magdalena has always shown great strength in the face of her fears. Empathy; her love of the literary world and it's characters has gifted her with the ability to understand the complex emotions of others. Imaginative; she is always inventing new universes inside her mind. Humor; she possesses the ability to see the light of a matter and to laugh over it while ignoring the dark part.
QUIRKS & HABITS: Only experiences anxiety when alone for a long period of time with her thoughts; believes all animals have souls; refuses to wear her hair up; doesn't believe women are subject to a man's whim; reads novels and writes; has a dislike of insects, especially ones that are furry or have legs.
OVERALL PERSONALITY DESCRIPTION: She has a sense of humor, a sense of empathy and kindness, and is constantly dreaming up worlds, whole universes even. Magdalena can understand the syntax behind words, the concealed meanings that people try to hide, and will usually be able to tell when someone is lying to her. That can be the undoing of a relationship with her, because she believes that anyone who lies to her once will lie again and that is not a person she wishes to have in her life. But she'll try to understand after the first lie, knowing that everyone makes mistakes, that everyone is flawed like the characters in her carefully woven tales. She's realistic, or tries to be when it matters, and isn't at all impatient.
Magdalena does not expect perfection from others and hopes that others do not expect the same from her. A good person, to her, is not a perfect person, but a person with intricate flaws and whom bears a certain mystery about them, making you want to know more though you know you will never know ever detail of their character. She's empathetic with the villainous characters of life, believing their descent into evil was not their own doing but a result of events that surrounded them. Talkative and verbose when giving thanks or talking excitedly of something she's recently discovered. She's mischievous, frisky, yet quiet, and when she's upset she cries easily.
She has imagination and she has courage, both traits that make one feel that everything will be alright. When your frightened, she'll try to make you feel safe. And when she's frightened, she'll say that she's okay. Because "all will be well, my dear" is a phrase she's heard repeated from her mother's lips so many times it's become ingrained in her mind that all will indeed be well in the end.

CHARACTER HISTORY: Magdalena was born at her aunt Araminta's home in Yorkshire late in the evening of December 14th, 1868. Her mother had not planned on delivering the child a week early, otherwise she most certainly would have been at St. Mungos, instead of in a spare room inside her sister's house giving birth to her first child. Araminta had frantically sent one of her house elves in search of a Healer from St. Mungos; Lenore pushed her first child from her womb just as the healer positioned his hands to catch the infant. "A girl!" the physician had shouted, the first words spoken of the infant after her birth. Those words were quickly followed by ones commenting on the color of her hair, made by her Aunt Araminta, of course.
It was not very long before the young babe was gifted with a younger sister, one whom she would grow up with. The two girls spent their youth running throughout the hallways of their grandfathers home whenever they went to visit, chasing after rabbits in the gardens behind their home (their mother hated the rabbits, because they ate the vegetables), being spoiled with a great quantity of gifts each year from all their aunts and uncles, and listening to their father read them a bedtime story every night. Both were opposed, initially, to a younger brother, when one came along in 1972. Soon, though, they would come to cherish the little boy, so much that Magdalena often took the blame for his wrongdoings.
When she received her Hogwarts letter at eleven, Magdalena was not at all happy like her parents were, both smiling down at her. She would rather have stayed home, with her family, than go off to an unfamiliar place with students whom she did not know. The only thing that reassured her and stopped the child from becoming overly upset was the reminder that her she had two uncles and an aunt at the school already, as well as other cousins. Even cousins who would be starting that very year, the same as her. With that known, the child was able to wave goodbye to her family as they stood on the platform and she sat in a compartment in the train, surrounded by other family members either starting or returning to Hogwarts.
She quickly found her way around school with the help of her family, and is probably closest to her cousins Johanna and Asteria, though she likes to think she gets on well with the lot of them. It was before the start of her second year of Hogwarts that her father managed to coax her mother into allowing her to own a pet rabbit. Her second year at Hogwarts saw the girl branch out on her own a bit more rather than just rely on her family members as companions.
