OVERALL PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION:
Lavinia is of Average height and weight. She is graceful and regal in appearance. She exudes an aura that makes people pay attention when she talks. She prefers to wear her hair long, but mostly keeps it up. She inherited most of her appearance from her father, and so is very aristocratic looking.
NON-MAGICAL SKILLS:
She is very good a memorizing things and recites things from memory often. She is also very good with embroidery though she despises it. She is a decent cook as well though she doesn't get to test this skill often.
MAGICAL SKILLS:
Animagus (plan to apply) Skilled with Transfiguration and Potions. She is also good with silent casting

She can be rude and impatient sometimes. Her handwriting is atrocious. She despises all things that have to do with being a housewife and isn't good with most of them anyway. She can come off as arrogant even though she is not.

She is generally willing to lend a sympathetic ear. In most situations, she is willing to take charge if necessary. She gets along well with most people.
QUIRKS & HABITS:
Often twirls her hair around her fingers when reading. She will tap her feet when she becomes impatient.
OVERALL PERSONALITY DESCRIPTION:
Lavinia is kind but stern. She takes no nonsense in the classroom, but is always ready to listen if a student has a problem. She likes to read and dance. She seems unfriendly at first but can be very friendly when you get to knew her. She takes great pride in her appearance and so tries to appear calm at all times.
Lavinia is a bit of an introvert. She is studious, but not to the point of missing meals. She loves the outdoors, and likes to spend time sitting outside.

CHARACTER HISTORY:
Lavinia was born to a pureblood witch and muggle father in their townhouse in London on November fourth 1857. Her mother and father had eloped causing a scandal among both the magical and muggle commuties. Her mother's parents disowned her and died shortly before Lavinia's birth. Her father's parents died when he was twenty.
Lavinia grew up with her mother and father in London. Her mother was a housewife and her father a politician of high regard even after he married her mother. When Lavinia was five her little brother Jeffrey Junior was born.
Lavinia went to Hogwarts like her mother before her at age eleven and was sorted into Ravenclaw. While there she was looked down upon by most of the Purebloods and so dealt with much adversity. It did not help matters when they found out that her brother was a squib. She overcame this adversity to do very well in school.
Lavinia had many fun times at Hogwarts. She got 10 owls and 8 newts. She graduated within the top five percent of her class.
After school, she returned home, where her father tried to find a husband for her. This led to much tension within the house as she did not want to be a housewife like her mother before her. This battle between them went on for several years until her father got terminally ill.
Her father has now recently passed and cemented her decision to not follow in her mother's footsteps. Therefore, she seeks tenure at Hogwarts as the new Transfiguration Proffessor, as that is her best and favorite subject.

Lav awoke quite suddenly. 'What was that heavenly smell?' still partially asleep. Slowly she got up off of her bed and stretched. Grabbing her dressing gown, she hurried to get ready for the day.
Half an hour later, she glided down the stairs wearing one of her usual morning gowns with her hair pinned back. Moments later, she walked into the dining room. "Good Morning mother. Good Morning Jeffrey." she greeted her family. She then set down to a delicious breakfast of eggs and fruit. 'Ah breakfast.' she thought. 'Such a delightful smell to wake up to.'
