July 8, 1890 Charlotte could justify this trip in many ways, but the real reason she had brought both of her children to this shop was because she craved sugar and sweetness in all its glory. She usually kept her eating habits healthy as a rule in her life, but when she was expecting her third child, she changed the rules a bit. It wasn't easy to come into a sweet shop with two little girls who had big eyes for candy, but she felt it was well worth appeasing them, as well as the babe within her. "Now remember, poppets, only one sweet each. You will listen to mummy and not touch a thing, or we will leave and return home immediately. We are all ladies," she said in a semi-stern tone. Both of her daughters had been prone to having fits if they didn't get their way. She couldn't imagine where they had gotten the trait. She would blame their aunt Melanie until her dying day. She walked into the store pushing the pram with Primrose seated inside of it, bouncing excitedly. Prim was old enough to walk on her own, which was the main reason Charlotte felt the need to keep her restrained. At one month shy of three years old, her current youngest child had very little self control. Lavender knew a bit more decorum, but she was learning as well. Charlotte did not enjoy being a disciplinarian with her girls, but she would if it was necessary, as her mother had before her. She smiled as they made sounds of awe at the treats surrounding them in the store. "Yes, isn't it glorious? Now stay by me, Lilah. Is there anything that tickles your fancy?"
