The McKinnons
OOPS I DID A THING. Here are the McKinnon brood! Family history:
Fergus Mckinnon met Isla MacDonald at Hogwarts, though they did not have much contact until there was a ball in Fergus’s seventh year. Isla, who had been a quiet a bookish girl, much more interested in her knitting and her studies than making eyes at boys, came out looking like a Scottish Princess. Her hair had been curled, her eyes lined with coal, her dress equipped with her family tartan. Fergus couldn’t take his eyes off of her. Despite Isla being three years younger the pair had danced all night long and started a courtship shortly thereafter.
They had had to wait for Isla to finish her education before they were able to marry, so it wasn’t until the summer after Isla graduated that they were married at the church on Skye with their close family and friends around them. Isla’s family who were from the mainland, not too far away from the Isle of Skye, had been putting money aside for Isla – their only child – which they used to buy the young couple a cottage and some farm land on the island.
It was scarcely eighteen months later Isla gave birth to a little bundle of joy, a boy they called Alasdair. The small family were happy, they used the land that they had to grow enough crops to feed themselves and to use to trade at the market. When Alasdair turned two years old Isla was blessed with another healthy baby boy, Graeme. Isla was happy with her babies and the joy that they brought her, teaching them how to do things and how to be good little men. She knew that they had both and heir and a spare, as the saying went, but her heart longed for a little girl. Alasdair was five years old, and Graeme three when her wish was finally granted and Isla gave birth to not just one little girl but two. Twins Eilidh and Morag(Maggie), born scarcely minutes apart.
The birth had been hard on Isla, multiples always were, and after the girls had been born the doctor had informed her and Fergus that they would not be able to have any more children. While this was a sad realisation for Isla, that these were her last babes, the couple had not had any intentions on having any more children, they had two of each and they were not greedy, that was more than enough.

Playby: Nikolaj Coster-Waldau
Fergus is the head of the family. He and Isla are still in Skye and working on their little farm where they have lived since they were married almost 25 years ago. He is a strong willed man who cares utmost about his family before anything else.
Isla McKinnon 40
Playby: Julianne Moore
Isla is far from a gentle mother. She cares fiercely about her children and because of that she has always pushed them to do their best in everything that they attempt, this sometimes causes her to butt heads with them, especially during their teenage years. Isla lives on Skye with Fergus on their farm and runs a small knitwear business for the local towns, providing traditional Scottish jumpers for a fee.
Alasdair McKinnon 21
Playby: Simon Woods
Alasdair is the eldest of the McKinnon siblings, he was very bright and performed well academically during his time at Hogwarts. Occupation is up to you, probably something more physical, I was thinking that he might go back home to Skye to work on the farm with his dad, but that’s totally debatable.
Alasdair is very protective of his family, both his younger brother @graeme – much to Graeme’s chagrin – and also of his younger twin sisters Maggie and Eilidh McKinnon .
