HEIGHT & WEIGHT: He's about five and three-quarter feet tall, and weighs around 140 pounds.
DISTINGUISHING MARKS: Light freckles on his cheeks and nosebridge
OVERALL PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION: Luc is a wiry boy, used to working on his grandfather's farm. His fair, freckled cheeks are often sunburnt from being outside so much. He has darker hair than most of his relatives, but still the trademark shade of ginger that all of the Weasleys possess. He's a more serious boy, but occasionally a grin will make its way across his features and brighten him up instantly.
NON-MAGICAL SKILLS: Luc is a hard worker, and has a lot of stamina. He's also pretty organized and tends to run on a schedule. His people skills aren't superb, but they're manageable. He taught himself to read and write and while he's not the best at it, he enjoys it and gets by.
MAGICAL SKILLS: Luc showed quite a bit of accidental magic when he was younger, which made him beg his parents to let him go to school like his cousin Kip. His skills lie in things like Potions and Herbology, things that have a sort of system to them.
BEST/WORST CLASSES: His best class of all would be Care of Magical Creatures, followed by Potions and Herbology. He is fairly mediocre in the rest of them, always getting good grades but not especially high grades. His worst class is probably History of Magic, as it is a purely theoretical subject.
WEAKNESSES: Luc doesn't learn very well theoretically. He's a practical learner, and also won't take an interest in things that he doesn't seem to find useful, like Quidditch, for example, but also in his classes. He has to think on how something he's learning will be useful in life, which was why he took the Care of Magical Creatures elective, growing up on a farm as he did, he thought he'd learn a few tricks. He also gets offended pretty easily, disliking when people mention his poverty or anything like that. He also has a tendency to break the rules if he thinks that he should-- if it's to help a friend or thwart an enemy, it's an exception. Of course, he's not very sneaky and thus usually gets caught.
STRENGTHS: He's a hard worker, and will set his mind to a task and see it through. If he knows that something needs to get done, he'll do it. He's also not afraid of much at all-- he'll stand up to any bullies without a moment's thought. He'll defend people and himself with words and blows if necessary.
QUIRKS & HABITS: Despite some of his behaviour, he really is pretty introverted. He tends to be pretty unrefined in his mannerisms, but he's polite in an uncouth sort of way that can be rather cute.
OVERALL PERSONALITY DESCRIPTION: While he can be fairly outgoing, Luc is actually an introvert. He can figure things out better if he has time to think things through before acting-- however, he doesn't always have that time, and so he can be very spontaneous and volatile if provoked. He's generally more easygoing though. Being lower class made him a bit of a dreamer, and he has practically created his own little world in his mind where he is free to be as impractical as he wants. However, in the real world, he is very practical. He is fairly outgoing, but not especially easy to make friends with. He tends to work best alone, though he understands the value of teamwork and will use help if it's necessary.
Luc is a sensor, thinking on the things that are and can be sensed and known as facts-- proven, in essence. He is practical and won't set his mind to anything that he doesn't feel can be useful. He's pragmatic and can only really learn well when he can see and practice what he's learning, and he will trust experience rather than words.
He likes schedules and order, but isn't afraid to deviate from them if he needs to. The same goes for rules. He thinks it's good to have guidelines in place, but to him that's all they are, guidelines-- things that, in normal circumstances work perfectly fine but in extreme circumstances can go by the board. He tends to get caught for rule-breaking though, as he's not conniving enough to cover his tracks and feels fairly justified.
He tends to be fairly accepting of others' views, but if they go against what he believes, he'll point it out. He tends to stand up for people, and he's not afraid of how they might retaliate. He'll stand up for people as well, and he hates bullying, having been bullied himself by some upperclass students for wearing his cousin's old robes and using his old textbooks.
In short, Luc has a good deal of nerve and a chivalrous attitude.

CHARACTER HISTORY:
Luc was born and raised on his grandfather's farm, used to getting up early and doing various farm chores, and working almost all day until he went to sleep at night. When he was six years old, his Uncle Wardell and his family returned from France and moved onto the farm.
Sometimes, he would stay up late at night and try to read and write. It started out as copying sections from some books he had found, and then he got a bit of help knowing what they actually sounded like. Slowly, he learned to be literate. By the time he was nine, he expressed a desire to go to school, but his parents didn't have enough money to do it, and so he started working for neighbouring farms in order to raise some money. He would often come home barely awake enough to stumble to his bedroom and fall asleep. Once, he fell asleep on the doorstep and had to be carried inside.
But, by the end of it all, he'd scraped up enough to pay for his first year of school, using hand-me-down robes and textbooks and a secondhand wand. And so he went to Hogwarts. It wasn't quite as great as he had hoped for, but he still loved it. He worked during the summers to earn more money, and his parents put away some, seeing just how dedicated he was to getting enough to be able to go year after year.
At school, he got some teasing from upper class students about his old robes and the fact that he was too poor to buy his own books. He got very offended and, without thinking, went to blows and had points taken for that. He learned to think before he acted more, but he still severely dislikes being made fun of, knowing how hard he works just to be able to come to school at all.
