Tavi's Poor Family-- More Malfoys

Once upon a time, long, long ago-- well, the earlier 1800's-- Septimus Malfoy's younger brother, Tenebris, married a young girl named Mathilde Gaunt. Neither Tenebris nor Mathilde believed in what they had been taught their whole lives and, while they sought to keep their family's blood pure by sheer tradition, they did not think any less of those without pure blood.
Tenebris and Mathilde raised their family with these thoughts, setting into play a more tolerant branch of Malfoys. They did not live in Malfoy Manor, but in Woodsbrook Mansion in north Wiltshire, despite common courtesy leading them to visit their relatives for the occasional tea.
The young Malfoys married, and the second son of the family, Atilius, went on to have eight children. One of those children grew to cling to the ideals of his great-uncle, and became a terror to the family-- Octavian. But the others had their own lives as well. Some were more obedient and tolerant than others, ranging on a spectrum from purist Octavian to gentle-spirited, good-hearted Quintus and everyone in between.

So, I'd like to have some of Octavian's siblings and relatives in play. He's currently the only one at Hogwarts, and its up to you to choose the paths of the rest of them. It's very, very open, as I haven't done a lot of development on them.

Atilius Malfoy (Born 1830, age 54)

Atilius is the current patriarch of his branch, his older brother Aetius being dead, and his older sisters married. He is an accepting sort of person, but a firm leader. 

Annaliese Malfoy (nee Potter) (Born 1836, age 48)

Annaliese is gentlewomanly lady, and places high value on etiquette and social events. She can be a bit flashy and flamboyant at times, and occasionally hosts lavish parties at Woodsbrook Mansion.

Claudius Tenebris Malfoy (Age 25)

He is sensible and levelheaded, but as the oldest of eight siblings he tends to have a bit of self-importance and bigheadedness and holds himself somewhat above them. He is the second-least favourable of the family after Octavian, but he does keep his family's values.

-Elaine Malfoy (nee Parkinson) (Age 22)

She is the wife of Claudius, and a delicate sort of woman, with a fondness for needlework and a deep love for children.

Will is Claudius and Elaine's son. He's sweet and curious, and at the age where he's into everything.

Lucielle Anna Malfoy (Age 23)

Lucielle can be a bit vain and flighty, but has a friendly demeanour in general. She could be married, if you'd like her to be. At her age, it would be good.

Tertius Actaon Malfoy (Age 22)

Tertius is confrontational, and not afraid to speak up when he doesn't believe something is going right. It was he who convinced Quintus to talk to Octavian with him. May be married if you'd like.

Katrien Camilla Malfoy (Age 19)

Katrien is delicate like her mother, and equally lavish, liking to always have the best. However, she isn't especially selfish. She just enjoys luxury. She could be married as well, if you'd like her to be.

Quintus Aries Malfoy (Age 18)

Quintus is shy and bookish, preferring to have his nose in a book than talking to people. When he was younger, Octavian blinded him for three days. He was taken to St. Mungo's and recovered, but he was never quite the same. He of all of the siblings is the most afraid of Octavian. He has worn glasses ever since the incident. He has a gentle and kind nature.

Lorraine Marie Malfoy (Age 17)

She is robust and healthy, very outgoing, and the least refined of all of the Malfoys' daughters. She's also very intelligent and a bit of a prankster. However, she is very close to her twin sister, Lyra, and would do anything for her. She doesn't want to marry simply because she believes that Lyra will be left alone.

Lyra Mathilde Malfoy (Age 17)

An unhealthy, sickly girl, Lyra spends most of her time inside. She's almost always suffering from one ailment or another, and because of this her parents don't hold out much hope for her marriage. She has a very sweet temperament, and is rather patient and willing to treat others better than herself.

Octavian A. Malfoy (Age 15)- Played by Katy

Octavian was often picked on when he was younger and teased by his brother Tertius and some of his older sisters. However, he showed an affinity for the Dark Arts at a shockingly early age. When he was eight years old, his brothers confronted him and he struck Quintus blind. He doesn't come home for the Christmas and Easter holidays and is estranged from his family. Also, the only one of Tenebris' descendants at all to possess traces of the Parseltongue ability passed down from his grandmother Mathilde.
