AGE: 18
SOCIAL CLASS: Upper Class
SCHOOL YEAR: Seventh
PLAY-BY: Ksenia Solo
BlOOD STATUS: Pureblood
EYES: Blue
HAIR: Black
SKINTONE: Pale
HEIGHT & WEIGHT: 5'8"
DISTINGUISHING MARKS: None
OVERALL PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION:
Victoria carries herself like a Queen, believing herself to be superior to many, her raven shaded hair up in a beautiful hair style. She always seems to look like she's looking down upon everyone else with her crystal blue eyes. She is fairly tall for a woman, being 5'8", weighing approximately 125 lbs. She both writes and performs various spells with her right hand, though it is rumored that she can use her left if she wanted to. Her clothing is of the finest material her family can buy. She's attracted to the lavish and the shiny. Victoria always wears a beautiful necklace that her mother gave her that has been passed down the family for generations.
NON-MAGICAL SKILLS:
Growing up Victoria, like her sister, was taught in things that were considered to be women's work at the time. Sure, they had servants and slaves that did all of the work for them, but there were certain things like keeping house and being an excellent hostess that she had to learn. She learned how to cook basic meals, how to behave as a hostess, how to plan a gala and other things like that. She also was taught how to care for a man, as she would have a husband someday to take care of. Basic life skills like reading and writing were taught to her, but not to the extent that her brother was taught. Just enough to get her through Hogwarts, really. Due to her time locked away in her room she learned how to be very secretive and sneaky. Learning lock picking, a silly muggle way of doing things, though she hadn't a choice with no magic to use at the time, was something she had picked up after numerous times escaping. She learned how to pick the best hiding place, to hold her breath long and silence herself to avoid being caught. Finally, as many women were, she was taught in some fine arts. She had played the piano since she was very young and she had been participating in Frog Choir as well, learning to sing.
MAGICAL SKILLS:
All Hogwarts students come out after graduation with the same general set of skills that they have been taught throughout the years, like how to fly a broom and how to change your rat into a fine looking glass. Victoria is still completing her final year at Hogwarts but she has shown to be very skilled in the art of potion making, since she spends most of her time on that, liking that subject the most. She specializes in poisons and other dangerous potions. With that comes her green thumb in growing things in Herbology. She feels the need to grow perfect ingredients for her potions, not only that but it's considered a job she should do as a female to tend to all of the gardens. You should also note that she's a parselmouth, having gotten it from the Gaunt family that is there on both sides. Though her siblings didn't seem to get the rare trait. She doesn't seem to show it off often, however.
BEST/WORST CLASSES:
Victoria does the best in Herbology and Potions, but she does the worst in History of Magic and Defense Against the Dark Arts.
Victoria's weaknesses are more focused on how socially stunted she can be because of how she was treated as a child and how she was raised to be. She's very stubborn and honestly doesn't like it when she doesn't get what she wants. When she was younger she used to throw giant tantrums that would be so harsh she had to be locked in her room. She doesn't change her mind easily and when she's set on something she doesn't budge. This is also relates to how selfish she is and how she is inconsiderate and doesn't really think of anyone else's feelings. Having not gotten enough love from her actual parents, since she was mostly taken care of by servants due to her illnesses, she has become quite cold and ignorant towards other people. She doesn't really have a concept of remorse, not really. You should also note that she's a coward. She will talk the talk about being a badass and she can cut you before you even have time to back away but when it comes down to it she flees in the face of danger.
STRENGTHS:
When it comes to strengths, she could thank the same things that gave her those weaknesses for giving her these. She's very sneaky, as you might have noted from her non-magical skills, and she learned to be this way because she doesn't like being locked away when she can do something else. She's cunning and uses her mind games to get what she wants all of the time, since she's so hellbent on getting what she wants because of how stubborn she is. When it comes to school she's actually pretty intelligent, not in everything, of course, but in the things she's curious about and really wants to know more about. When there is something that interests her she goes full force into researching it, trying to know every little piece of information she can because it makes her seem more powerful if she knows all the little details. There is nothing that can catch her off guard this way. She has very nice etiquette, you might notice, since she was bred to be a hostess, just about, being a future trophy wife. Having to host galas and soireés for other pureblood families.
QUIRKS & HABITS:
When nervous she plays with her hair, but not in the usual way. She generally tucks it behind her shoulder or ear over and over, as if she's trying to focus herself. When she's scared she lashes out more than usual, as the stress pushes her over the edge.
OVERALL PERSONALITY DESCRIPTION:
Do not let anyone fool you, Victoria is a cold-hearted snake. She cares about blood purity, keeping it high-class, and looking good and that's about it. She's very narcissistic, to be completely honest. She does not like sports but will watch them if invited to go see them, but she does not believe that women should be playing them. She typically remains civil around everyone, not wanting to make a scene, but she's not always friendly. She tends to give the cold-shoulder a lot. She does have a very tight knit group of friends in a clique that she's had since her first year. They seem to be the only people who can put up with her. She enjoys the finer things in life and will say the only things that really make her happy is dressing up, going to parties, and soaking up all of the attention.
When it comes to her likes, she enjoys the lavish and things that only those with money can buy. Mostly that happens to be shiny things like diamond necklaces and bracelets and all sorts of things like that. She wants to look just as rich as she feels and as she honestly is. She will say that she honestly feels naked without at least one shiny piece of jewelry on her body at all times. This also goes into her fashion tastes, as she hopes to be a cover witch at least once in her lifetime. Her tastes are expensive in this as well - she also keeps up with what the latest colours and styles are. Potions and Herbology are her favorite classes because she enjoys the idea of a liquid changing something, she's not sure why but she does. She particularly likes potions that are used as poisons or curses. She likes Herbology because of how it can greatly improve potions, though she must say she likes the carnivorous ones best. As for new languages, she loves being able to show off she can speak in more than one. Right now she's fluent in French and English, but hopes to learn a lot more.
As for dislikes, she's not a big fan of muggles and muggleborns, in fact she finds herself above them as a pureblood witch. She's big on house rivalry, and loves the competitive behavior, therefore disliking Gryffindor for the sole fact that they are commonly known as the rivals of Slytherin. Though she may seem like a hypocrite if she ends up finding herself befriending a lion. Not much to say about her dislike of the colour, yellow, and her dislike of spicy food. Those are just personal preferences that she happens to have naturally. Her dislike of history is because she finds it pointless to learn about things that don't matter anymore since it's over, ironically, she always brings up the past of her pureblood family and what they used to do to those of 'dirty blood' before it was made illegal.

CHARACTER HISTORY:
In the beginning, wizards and witches tried to live amongst the muggles - thinking that just because they were a bit different, they could still live amongst them as one. This proved to be far more difficult and dangerous than they thought it was going to be and soon they found themselves hanged, shot at, stoned, and so on. Many witches and wizards believed that they could still find harmony and peace amongst those without magic blood, but a good amount of them did not. They were still hurt from what their family had gone through in regards to the history of witchcraft in the muggle world. This was the start of the separation of magic and muggle and the rise of the blood war. Magical beings had always tended to stay with their own kind, of course, for it was more important to keep the magic going when there weren't too many of them, but now it became more of a political stance to keep your family pure. It showed how you felt about the muggles and their integration into your world. There were quite a few families that continued to marry and produce young with muggles, but there were many that did not. The Rosier family was one of them that chose to keep the magic pure and therefore they were marked as purebloods, those without any muggle heritage whatsoever.
The Rosier family was a powerful family living in England. They married their cousins, their siblings and other purebloods to make sure that the magic would never be tainted with bad blood. Those who didn't follow, such as young Ivanov Rosier, a young boy during the regency era, whom married both a muggle and a man, were burned off the family tree and never spoken of as if they didn't exist. Some, like Miss Anastasia Rosier, were brutally murdered in their own home for daring to go against the family code. Throughout the years the family grew more and more secretive, as they were getting into darker and darker stuff.
The regular magics no longer appeased them the way the dark arts did. Soon Mr. Lucius Rosier, Victoria's great grandfather, passed on some dark magic books that he had written onto his sons. Ares and Cressida Rosier had baby Nastasya Rosier on February 14th of 1857. They were overjoyed to have a child, especially since Cressida's family had some difficulty conceiving in the past few generations and they were unsure whether or not it would be true for her.
Nastasya Rosier was raised by Cressida, mostly, and her grandmother in Russia - for they visited there often enough for it to be considered another home - to be a proper young woman. Her father didn't speak to her much because it was not going to be her that would be the heir. She was a woman - and the Rosier's were extremely traditional in their ways and some could call it sexist as well. That's why they kept trying for an heir - a boy, and that was when four years later they got Antonin Rosier on June 25th of 1861. He was going to be their golden child as he was now the heir that they had been waiting for. He was raised away from his elder sister as he had to learn things that were different from women's work. Instead of learning to care for the home and such, he learned how to run a business, how to work politically. Of course the two would always learn magic as they both attended Hogwarts as Slytherin students.
They were never meant to have a third - they had their heir and that was all they needed, but one evening Cressida found out she was pregnant once again and though they weren't planning for another one, the new child would be accepted with open arms and expected to be an important member of society just as their elder siblings were. That's when baby Victoria Rosier was born, that cold December evening; fifteenth of 1865.Unlike her other siblings she was a very quiet baby, that is, until she wanted something, then she was loud and demanding, far more than Nastasya and Antonin. More attention was showered onto her by her mother than her elder sister was because of it, though her father paid no attention to the young girl - his focus continued to be on Antonin. As a baby, Victoria had never even met her brother, as the only ones that would go in and out of the nursery were the servants and slaves, her mother, and her sister.
As a small child, Victoria was more sickly than her other siblings, and therefore needed constant care both by her mother and the servants that would take care of her. Victoria didn't have much contact with her actual family when she was very young because they did not want to catch whatever illness she had this time so she didn't see them as family as much as she saw her caregivers as family. They were her mother figure and her sister figure. This lasted up until she was about seven years old and she was considered old enough to start beginning to learn the same things her elder sister had. By this point Victoria had not been getting sick as often, though she was very used to the cushy lifestyle she had gotten by getting whatever she wanted since she was always unwell. It was very difficult for Victoria to adjust to not having that anymore so throwing tantrums and making a scene was something she did quite a lot, since she had also been groomed to believe that if she did that she was brought what she wanted. When her mother didn't do that, trying to teach her daughter some discipline, it only got worse. Victoria didn't take to her mother well as authority because she had not been raised by her during those crucial few years as a baby. She was not her mother - her nanny was her mother, that was what she knew.
Cressida, believing that the servants had done something to Victoria, perhaps dark magic, as to get revenge for how they were often treated by the family, were dismissed immediately and of course this only made things worse. Victoria spent much of her childhood locked in her room so she wouldn't make a fuss in public. It was difficult for her to reattach to her sister, who didn't like her at all and believed her to be an entitled brat, despite the fact many would say the same about her that were outside the family, her mother, whom she didn't have the right familial attachment to begin with, and of course her brother and father whom she barely even knew to begin with. Her first sign of magic wasn't displayed until she was eight years old when she got so angry she burst a vase and the glass flew every which way. This was a relief because they had worried she had been a squib since it didn't take her siblings that long to show off their magic. Victoria was considered a late bloomer - rare in their family.
Because of having to stay in her room for long periods of time, she had become quite the sly one, learning how to pick locks - very muggle, which she disliked, but she couldn't use magic yet - and easily escaping all of the time. She was cunning, tricking servants into making things like that easy for her, bringing her what she wanted while she was in there. When they got into trouble and got fired, without being raised with much love, Victoria was very cold hearted and she simply did not care what consequences it brought to others. She had made a few friends, however, with children of the families that her family was friends with, as they didn't hide the fact that they had a third child.
She was allowed to be out of her room as long as she promised to behave herself and not cause too big of a scene. Victoria was better at sneaking about by this time - at ten years old. Her tantrums were far less now that she found different, better ways to do things, how to trick and sneak and use her wits to get what she wanted. The longest conversation she had with her brother and father was at some gala when she was ten, talking about how Victoria was almost old enough to attend Hogwarts with her siblings and she would be representing the Rosier's and should be proud of that. Victoria looked up to her brother, wanting to be as important as he was. She didn't see him as family, really, since she hardly knew him, but she believed if she behaved as he did, she could be the star of the show. Her relationship with her elder sister remained not so great, as Nastasya never seemed to get over the fact that Victoria was the way she was. Victoria only spoke to her when she felt she had to, since they were both being taught things by their mother and spent a lot more time together. Victoria got a better relationship with her mother, however, though perhaps not the one that she wanted to begin with.
There was no big ceremony for Victoria when it was time for her to head off to Hogwarts for the first time - she hardly shed a tear, not caring so much about missing her family or anything of that nature. She was excited, however, to see what kind of things she'd learn and discover at Hogwarts. She would be where her siblings were, the people that seemed very important to her parents, perhaps if she observed them she could be even better than they were. Especially Antonin, whom had the most attention so far. Upon arriving at Hogwarts it was no surprise to anyone that she was sorted right into Slytherin as the rest of her family that was there. She had wondered if Ravenclaw would have been a better fit for her because she enjoyed the knowledge she had gained, though she didn't think of the reason she wanted that knowledge. She wanted it because she wanted to be powerful, to be at the top, to be liked, to be someone that was worth knowing. She would do anything to make that a reality.
Victoria had this habit of showing up to classes much earlier than the others, being the only one in the classroom with or without the professor. Somehow there was this peace that was brought on by being alone with all of these class materials. Perhaps it was because she felt like she could do anything - she could sit and study, she could peek at the test answers, she could sweet talk the professor into giving her a higher score. Not only that but she just liked how quiet it was, not a huge fan of loud noises at all. She found that she honestly disliked charms, thinking it was something she didn't think was useful, but that may have been because she wasn't any good at it and she didn't like things she did poorly at. The same went for the defense against the dark arts, thinking, if she was in any danger, she'd rather use offense and hit them back with something harsher than just block everything. To her blocking rather than fighting back was showing weakness, which she disliked the idea of.
Her brother was never weak - he seemed to always stand his ground - from the few times she had observed him when they were in the same room together. She spent more time around him, not her sister, since she had graduated a few years before then, these days, since they shared a common room. Though Victoria had quickly found out that it would still be a lot less than she expected as they were in quite differing years and of course, different crowds. The classes she found that interested her, were potions, followed by herbology. There was something about the use of a liquid to control things that appealed to her.
Perhaps it was the way it smelled when it was being brewed, or the way one's drink could be spiked and it was a sly way to get things done. As she cared about this class more, she was of course, one of the best in it because she put the effort that was needed. Now, her feelings towards herbology were a bit complicated. She found the class boring and tedious and she hated playing the waiting game for things to grow and such. But she understood the correlation between potions and herbology. An excellent potion not only has to be brewed precisely but it also needs excellent ingredients. Many ingredients were plants and such that you grew in herbology, and therefore she found that if she learned to do well in herbology, it would improve her potions since she'd grew better quality ingredients.
For the most part she kept to herself her first year, not making many new friends. Part of this was the anxiety of being around new people, but some of it was because she felt that she was above them and they would only annoy her and get in her way. She had a few friends, however, that she talked to when it was necessary. Many of them were just the same children of the families that her family was friends with. They were the ones that she was most familiar with and so she didn't mind them being around her so much. They were family approved people.
The summer had gone far better than Victoria had expected, in fact, she felt elated that her mother was proud of her final grades for that term and even her sister approved of them. She hadn't gotten a job yet, Nastasya, since she was spending her time helping her mother host and care for the home. Ares hoped that they would be able to marry her off soon before she got some ridiculous idea of getting a job when that wasn't the place of a woman to do so in his opinion. At this age, Victoria found herself behaving more like one should at her age, not running around like crazy or throwing fits. She found that the more she behaved herself, the more polite she acted, the more piano she played, the more tunes she sang, the more likely her mother was to give her lavish gifts like necklaces and bracelets and other such shiny things. It soon became something that she was conditioned to do - act like a lady and she would get things in return. She especially loved them because they were symbols that meant how well she had done in front of everyone.
Going back to Hogwarts was something that Victoria was more excited for than the previous year, which was strange since most were excited for what was to come their first year and by their second the novelty had worn off. Victoria wanted to use her newfound knowledge of getting what she wanted by sweet talking people. She was still cold, backstabbing, and such, since the only thing she really cared about was herself and getting what she wanted, reaching her ambitions and such, but pretending to be a sweetheart was becoming easier and easier to her. She was also starting to understand what her parents meant by behaving like a Rosier and family honour and all of that. Following their codes, which meant putting down 'mudbloods' and giving praise to those who were pure. It wasn't like she hadn't been told all of this before. It was just now that she was willing to sit and learn, to be patient and wait to strike, like her housemates had demonstrated, so she picked up on it better. Plus she had been studying her brother more than ever as it was his last year and she only had one more chance before he left the school forever.
It was during this year she got her first T and it was in Transfiguration, causing quite a scene between her mother and her when she came home for the winter holidays. She didn't want to send a howler because she never wanted to draw negative attention to the household. Victoria cried and beat herself up over it and always muttered to herself how stupid she was if she didn't understand something in that class. She didn't want to be screamed at again - that loud noise she just couldn't stand. She had also found herself joining the frog choir as an elective. Though she didn't like all of the singers in there, she found it to be a nice place to make friends and show off her voice.
Victoria met her best friend while she was in this class and together they planned on ruling the world - they were going to take the world by storm. Her friend was into more dangerous stuff than Victoria was, as her parents weren't as careful as to what she got into. She started becoming a bad influence on Victoria, teaching her things that were even darker than she knew existed. Things that even her family wasn't quite in tune yet, despite their dark history. Why would she hang around this kind of person? Well because she wanted to be liked. She wanted to have a sense of belonging. A sister figure - one that liked her. This girl gave her that, offered her that. Made her feel very important and she needed that. Whether it was dark and dangerous or not didn't matter. What mattered is she got her way. Plus, kids at that age - twelve years old? Very impressionable and very susceptible to peer pressure.
That summer was something that Victoria would always remember because it would be the first where she spent very little time within her own home. She spent most of her time with her best friend, whom spent a lot of time making her feel like she was the most important girl in the world. Together they would get into her father's dark arts things, his books and such where they read up on poisons, curses, hexes, and other such things. Her father had no idea because he was sure that he kept his study locked, but more times than ever he did not because he was a very forgetful man, not only that but Victoria had learned to pick locks when she was young, as stated before. The girls never practiced dark magic, of course. They were only thirteen and they still had the trace on them. But they talked about it as if they knew everything - especially to their classmates. As if it was cool to know about it; as if it made them badass.
This made them inseparable during the school year, always whispering about the things they thought that they knew about. Though Victoria preferred to play leader, she looked up to her best friend immensely, since she made her feel wanted. As teenagers, this became more important - to have that sense of belonging. As third years they were also able to go to Hogsmeade for the first time during the school year. Victoria had been there plenty of times growing up, the few times that her family let her go with them, so it was nothing new for her, but it was still pretty fun going with someone your own age that you get along with. Her favorite part was starting snowball fights during the wintertime outside of the shops, or trying to hit as many adults as you could without getting caught by prefects or professors.
This was also the time where they were allowed to choose electives if they wanted to. Victoria had chosen Care of Magical Creatures, Ghoul Studies and Divination, though she quickly dropped Care of Magical Creatures as she found that it was not something she cared for all that much and it was hard to keep up with that many classes to begin with. She enjoyed the other two and they weren't as much work to put up with. She especially loved Divination because she felt that it was very interesting that some people could predict things that would happen in the future, some would have that gift. She didn't have it, she quickly discovered, but pretending she did and making jokes with her classmates was nice.
At fourteen, the summers seemed shorter than they had been previous - it was the natural progression of growing up, the way things seemed to move faster. When you get to that high-school like age, nothing seems to slow down and you do your darndest to keep up. Sure, you're still a young teenager and you have plenty of time, but you're in such a rush to give up your youth to grow up and have that freedom that when you want to stop and slow down it was too late. Victoria was treated more like an adult at home, given chores like her sister to help tend for the home. Her brother had a career now, though he seemed to spend a lot of time with his father anyway, probably discussing what was going on politically in the world today. Her friends were getting introduced to potential suitors, though they were young, when you were a pureblood of certain families it was normal.
Victoria spent the end of her summer, heart racing, keeping a secret that she wanted to hold onto for as long as she could. Sometime in the middle of summer she had her best friend had gotten closer than they ever had been, soon they had shared a kiss and became somewhat of a couple. Now, Victoria knew better to do such things like that, for neither of their families would approve, but it was intoxicating. She wasn't quite sure when she had developed feelings for her best friend, but she figured it was sometime when she had been giving her the cold shoulder the previous year. They had spent hours out by the lake, whispering and kissing and telling each other how someday they were going to run away and be together. The stupid things that all teenagers in love would do. Though neither of them knew if it was love or it was just the adrenaline rush they got from being 'bad girls.' They would exchange glances that lingered a bit too long at fancy galas that they attended with their families. So far their secret remained that, nobody knew a thing. Perhaps it would get more difficult when they started school again.
The girls had to concentrate more now that they had their OWLS coming and it was important that they did well on it. Victoria rejoined the frog choir, though she didn't participate as much as she used to because she had to study and she was determined to get better grades or at least the same grades as her siblings before her. Though Victoria remained loyal and did not have a significant other during this year, her best friend did, having another boyfriend. The last thing either of them wanted aws their families finding out what they had been doing with each other since the summer. They managed to not get caught once but there were quite a few close calls, but it had something to do with the fact it didn't happen often because they were both doing their own thing all of the time.
After getting her scores back for the year, Victoria was mildly pleased, deciding to take only the O level classes as NEWTS the coming year; those were the ones that mattered. Her friend did better than her, of course, she always seemed to do better than she did, but instead of being angy, Victoria was happy for her, though the green eyed monster was lurking, waiting for its moment to pounce.
Victoria was given the job to tend to the home while her mother rested and her father carried out his usual business. She didn't really think about how she never really had a father figure and she craved someone like that, an older male figure in her life. Her relationship with her best friend was turning to shambles, however, because she didn't want to sneak around anymore and they were getting older and they had to 'stop acting like kids and follow the rules.' Though this upset her, for the first time she understood that it was the truth. Though they both seemed to care deeply for one another anyway. Perhaps more than other friends did that hadn't been in a secret relationship with each other. There would be times when they almost had moments, but they stuck to what was going on and stayed away until they could control themselves.
With having a little amount of classes she had more free time so she could do her extracurriculars like frog choir more often, like she had wanted to do. More importantly, she and her best friend could spend more time researching the dark arts like they wanted to, since they had a feeling that they might be needing it with the direction the world was going at this point. They had difficulties doing so since they weren't allowed in the restricted section, but Victoria was able to convince a few professors occasionally to be able to give her permission to do it. It wasn't as often as they may have liked, but it was what could be done.

It was nice being back home for the Spring holidays instead of cooped up in the dark, damp castle that was known as Hogwarts. It was quite evident how dark these years had become because not many students went outside to the courtyard this time of year as they usually did in the previous years. She felt kind of lonely without her usual clique to hang around with as they were all doing their own thing, busy, as most older students were. Currently her father was at work and so was her brother, though she didn't talk to them very often at all, and her mother and sister were out doing their own thing as well, so she took a trip by herself to Diagon Alley. Perhaps get some ice cream to keep her mind off of the things that had been going on in the world lately. Like what her position in the coming war would be - would she be accused of killing? Would her family be able to continue on? Would they die off if this war, or whatever it is becoming turns bigger? So many questions filled her head that it began to make her sick.
After getting some ice cream she found herself wandering down the path, looking around and thinking about how she viewed this place when it was still fresh and new when she was a young girl. She wasn't paying attention and found herself walking in Knockturn Alley, getting looked at funny by some of the darker witches and wizards that resided there. She kept her head high and continued walking, not wanting to draw too much attention to herself. She and her best friend acted like they were badass and were dark witches and could fire off unforgivables if you crossed them, but they were practically scared little girls playing pretend.
The real stuff was over their head and perhaps things that they weren't ready for. Victoria had attempted murder before, had nothing wrong with brewing poisons and growing plants that would kill with a single prick, but when it came to the full on curses? She had never seen one up close. She had only read about them in books from the dark arts collection in the restricted section and her best friend's father's study that he often forgot to keep locked. The two girls were so far out of their league that they didn't even realise it. Not yet, anyway, but they would.
She found herself walking into Borgin and Burkes, somewhere she knew that friends and family shopped, but she had never been in herself. It was a shady place, dusty, and you could feel the evil aura that it produced within your own bones. It was quite frightening, she would say, but she wanted to seem brave. These were her people, right? This was where she was supposed to belong? She almost wanted to believe that. The store owners followed her with their eyes, as if they suspected she was lost, but they said nothing as she caused no disturbance to anyone. She wandered towards the very back and almost touched one of the necklaces, reaching out. But her hand suddenly jerked back, getting a sense of worry that it was going to harm her if touched. Victoria then kept walking until she reached the very back of the store, finding where all the extremely restricted - very evil - books were located.
Her hand reached out and she pulled one of them off the shelf, and dusted it off. It looked like it hadn't been looked at in awhile. Either that or things got dirty real easily in this place. She slowly cracked it open, noting how it almost through her into a coughing fit and the pages seemed quite old as well. Her bright blue eyes traced the words, reading things that she had never really seen before. She thought she heard someone or something come into the shop, being a bit louder than she was and it startled her. She quickly slipped the book into her bag, rather than placing it back onto the shelf, as if stealing it, instead of placing it back, barely looking behind her to check out what or who it was.
