Hello Father, I don't have much time to write, as I am late to class. Yes, this year is already off to a fantastic beginning. But what can I say, it's my last year! I've earned the right to be lazy for a few days. How are you? How is mother? I am requesting another care package of sweets and biscuits, as my supply is running low. I should probably tell you that your suspicions the last time we spoke at Hogsmeade were correct. I was seeing a girl, and I lied about it. I was afraid to tell you because she is muggleborn. I know how our family has been with that sort of thing in the past, and I wanted to tell you the truth now. This is especially significant because we ended things between us. I believed us to be in love for a time, but everything became dramatic and confusing. So I am once again alone. I am trying to be content, but I do miss her. Do you have any fatherly words of wisdom for me? Thank you. I miss home, and I have truly been thinking over the post at the ministry with you next fall. It does have its appeal... Love, Cam Cygnus Mahmud Fawley

Cam,
As you probably can see, the box is shrunken to be delivered easier. Your mother had been thrilled that you asked for more and thought it was best to turn our kitchen into a pastry shop. There is chocolate, mocha, vanilla, strawberry, cherry, blueberry, and raspberry cupcakes, chocolate, mocha, and toffee cookies, brownies, butter cookies, meringues, rainbow cookies, and I think I saw her make macaroons too. Merlin, she even made pies, all spelled to keep warm until eaten of course. And just so you know, the apple pie, chocolate mousse, and egg pie was supposed to be mine... until she caught me trying to run out with them.
Your mother and I are fine, thank you for asking. Though she did NOT like to have heard that I nearly lost an arm trying to catch one of our targets. I told her that i was fine and she nearly fire-called my office to get them to give me a week off. Luckily I got to her before she reached the fireplace. I have three days off to recover and your mother is hovering me in between baking and other things she does. I try to stay away less I get dragged into anything. Your mother is more frightening than any criminals... DO NOT tell her I said that.
As for your lovelife, I knew you lied but I thought it was best to wait for you to tell me yourself. Don't worry about it, I don't mind finding out until you both had gone your separate ways. Better late than never. Fatherly advice? People come and go in our lives. Some stay for a while before leaving. If they really do love you, they will do everything in their power to stay. Maybe... JUST maybe, she might not be the one for you. Or it could be that the time isn't right yet. If she is your destined, then sometime in the future, your roads will meet again and maybe then, you can have what you both want: a long and lasting love and life together. Just remain in good terms with her despite just being friends. You both still shared fond memories.
The house isn't the same without you hellions here to wreck havock as well. And if you need help, you can always come to me.
Take Care Always, Son.
Cygnus

Father,
Please tell Mother that she is an absolute angel and I love her and her sweets very much. Thank you for writing. Sounds like nasty business with what happened with work, but I am glad you did not lose an arm. I am considering telling her that you said she was more dangerous than any criminal, mainly because I can use it as blackmail to get what I want from you. Now what was it we were talking about over the summer? A new broomstick for me? Silence is not free, Father.
Thank you for your advice about my lost love. I am doing well on my own, though I never thought I would say that. I miss Ainsley, but I believe it is for the best. I don't wish to be alone forever, though. I plan on marrying soon after graduation. Why wait for a family when I know it will make me very happy?
I tried to make nice with Jasper during class and he thought I was sick or dying. Can't I be kind to my brother without him thinking I've gone insane? I'm not such a terrible person. At least I hope not.
Hope you are well,
Cam

Camden,
Indeed it had been one of the top ten worse cases I have had to face as I am one of the most experience and trained Hit Wizard in my department. Your Uncle Aries can only wish to best me in his dreams. That new broom you wished for is a graduation gift, you hellion. You mother already planned it... and your too early to even get blackmail on me. If you take a look at the previous letter, you will see that the mention of your mother being compared to my cases have disappeared. Ha! Try better next time son.
Married soon after school? Is that what you wish for, Cam? Do you already have someone new?
Well, after the summer break filled with yelling, screams, pranks, hexes, and many other unmentionables, I am not surprised that Jasper thinks you've gone insane. I would have thought so too if I was in his place. Just be patient with your brother. And no you are NOT a terrible person, Camden Matthew Fawley! NEVER think of yourself as such.
Please Be On Your Best Behavior Always,
Cygnus
P.S. Your mother says to share the treats with the others. Do so or she will write to them and ask if you did so or not. I know you do NOT wish for your mother to stop sending you those treats.
((OOC: pretend that the slash means the sentences disappeared. hehehe...))
