OVERALL PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION:
She's a sweet looking girl, with a round face and bright, happy eyes. Her hair is long and red and has a very tight wave through it (no one knows if the shape is natural or because Lin's hair is always braided by her mother) She's tall for her age and still growing, but quite thin.
NON-MAGICAL SKILLS:
Lin loves languages, she hears her father speak in different tongues and is fascinated by them. She'd love to learn but has yet to ask him to teach her, she has begun teaching herself and can speak a bit of French, German and Italian.
Lin can braid hair almost as well as her mother, her hair is so long she tends to keep it braided and out of the way.
She can play the Piano and Violin, and enjoys playing both very much.
She can read very well, she absorbs information and her handwriting is very beautiful for someone so young.
She's also an extremely competent chess player.
MAGICAL SKILLS:
She's very good with her wand work and is exceptionally good with magical items. In particular reading tea leaves and she loves going to her uncle's tea shop.
BEST/WORST CLASSES:
Best classes are charms, divination and Herbology. Worst classes are DADA and transfiguration.
WEAKNESSES:
She is too gentle and too conforming sometimes, she won't stick up for herself because she is very non-confrontational. She tends to go without before she asks for what she wants. She can be neurotic and exceptionally nervous and well as slightly paranoid that people font like her or are unhappy with her.
She doesn't speak much, she might love launguages but she's not great with words.
STRENGTHS:
She is gentle and follows the rules, she has an immense capacity for love and generosity, she loves spending time with people or animals especially if she can help them.
She loves to listen but her advice-giving needs work.
QUIRKS & HABITS:
She smiles a lot, and nods a lot becasue she's not great with words. She wrings her hands and bites her lip if she's uncomfortable and she often will lie and make excuses to leave if she's uncomfortable.
OVERALL PERSONALITY DESCRIPTION:
Lin is a bit of a wildcard, she has quirks and habits and skills from each of her older family members but still has her own struggles and faults. She's still growing and learning and tends to soak things up like a sponge. She's a quiet little girl who is easily overlooked but she prefers it that way. She surprises people with her knowledge and ability and smarts. She loves her family, and her siblings more than anything and is happiest when spending time with them.

CHARACTER HISTORY:
Lin never had a problem with not standing out in her mass of siblings, she'd never hope to be as striking or strong as Laila, she knew she'd never match up to Rasin, the Stensrud's heir and Alva, her baby sister was simply adored by her parents and could sing like an angel to boot.
Lin has been okay with this, she was the quiet one, she likes learning and simply spending time with her extraordinary family. She was born in Britain and is the second youngest.
Growing up Lin loved to learn and loved to read, when she was nine she showed her first signs of magic and was excited to be able to learn magic at Hogwarts alongside her siblings, she had been worried that it had been so long before she did show magic though.
She excelled in her studies and very rarely got into trouble. She uses her spare time to read up on other subjects, where she learned of Divination and reading tea leaves. She devoted a good portion of her time to practicing the art and found she was good at it.
Theoretically, Lin's schoolwork is near perfect, magically she's not confident, charms, she does fairly well but she's not good at transfiguration at all, Potions she does alright but its not a strong subject.
She had little trouble at school otherwise, she doesn't have many close friends because she tends not to connect with new people and spends lots of time in the library.
