OVERALL PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION: Toma is tall for his age and thin, and he is not happy about the two inches his twin brother gained on him over the last year or so. He would be considered "scrappy" by most, because he is an active child and can fit through places others cannot, the same as his brother. They sometimes would have contests to see who could fit more easily inside a log or something, which would frequently result in one of them getting stuck. He is generally cleaner than his brother, mainly because he is more cautious and afraid of getting into trouble. He smiles a lot, but has anxious eyes.
NON-MAGICAL SKILLS: Catching bugs, charming stray animals, being a calming influence for some of his siblings, seeing the good in everyone (which is also a weakness).
MAGICAL SKILLS: Unsure yet, he's not supposed to use a wand! If he did that he might get in trouble...
BEST/WORST CLASSES: Not sure yet, he's just starting. He's heard from his older siblings that history of magic is boring, and he isn't looking forward to it. He wants to do Care of Magical Creatures, but he's too young.
WEAKNESSES: Trusting too many people, expecting the good in everyone. He's not as good at English as Mishka is because he gets nervous. He's cautious to a fault at times. He doesn't always speak up for himself, but he will defend others if they need it (which could get him hurt). Naivety is a big one for Toma.
STRENGTHS: Optimism, he has a large capacity for love. He loves everyone in his family, and doesn't understand the intricacies of the dislike his older siblings have for one another. He is intelligent, but quiet about it. He loves life, no matter the situation he is in (usually)
QUIRKS & HABITS: Toma loves animals. He is always trying to sneak pets home and has sometimes succeeded, though they are not always traditional pets.
OVERALL PERSONALITY DESCRIPTION: Toma is generally happy, but he is not as excited for Hogwarts as his brother is. Well, he's excited, but he's also very nervous. It is harder for him to express himself in English without a stutter, but he is too afraid to go back to Russian or he feels he'll get made fun of, even amongst his siblings. The only one who truly knows him is Mishka, and he's the one that Toma is the most comfortable around. They fight about stupid things like brothers do, but in the end Toma will always be there for Mishka no matter what.
Although he is smart, he still hasn't grasped the concept that his family is poor. He doesn't really understand what the opposite of their money situation would be because he's content with his life. Except he wants a pet and is always told no. So he sneaks in bugs and small creatures that can feed themselves, or eat from scraps he brings to them in secret. His heart is too caring and open to forget the animals he finds.
He doesn't have a problem with any of his siblings, and if they have a problem with him, he is unaware of it. He misses his mother, but he does remember fearing her sometimes. Still, he has forgiven her and wishes everyone could just be happy and love one another.

CHARACTER HISTORY: (See @mishka for full and awesome family history, I'm just writing things from Toma's perspective) Toma has had a happy childhood, though he has always been careful and quiet in uncomfortable or new situations. He was later to walk and speak than Mishka was. And though he was cautious, he didn't always hide when his mother was having one of her episodes. Sometimes an older sibling who wasn't involved had to pull him away because he was trying to calm her, not realizing it wouldn't have helped.
When the fire happened, Toma was pulled out by Savin or Lev, he can't remember. But they hadn't grabbed his pet rat, so he had to go back in to save him. He was trapped and couldn't get out until a hit wizard named Tobias came in to save him. He didn't even realize his arm and back were on fire until the man pushed him to the ground to put the fire out. It was only after the fire was out that he felt the burns and he cried and clung to the young man that had saved him. The healers worked on his burns, but he still carries the scars. He doesn't blame his mother though. He is sure that she was sick and it wasn't her fault.
