DISTINGUISHING MARKS: he has a large scar along his jawbone. His accent is also Has a bit of a Scottish twang in it being from the north
OVERALL PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION: as you can imagine Freddie looks a bit rough. He's a little taller then average for his age but he's very thin, all bones. He's often a bit grubby and his clothes are a little too big and fairly mismatched. His hair is very messy no matter how he tried to flatten it.
NON-MAGICAL SKILLS: Fred can read though he struggles with it and he can write but doesn't like writing in front of people because he is left handed and its hard enough for him to use a quill and ink as it is, he doesn't want anyone to force him to learn to write with his right hand. He hasn't got many other skills apart from lying well and picking pockets and coming up with excellent plans to get himself into a lot of trouble if he gets caught.
MAGICAL SKILLS: Fred loves magic. His mother was a squib and she loved magic too. She was so happy when he got his letter. Despite their struggles she was so determined to send him to magic school they brought up the money through lots and lots of hard work.
Freddie is very good at lots of types of magic. But has no special skills for it.
BEST/WORST CLASSES: his best work is practical work and his worst is written making him pretty average across the board. He tries very very hard to be as best as he can be because he knows how hard it was for his parents to send him to school. He is very ambitious and wants to make a future for himself that is better than what his parents had and is determined to succeed where others said he would fail.
WEAKNESSES: Fred is prone to being a bit mopey and lazy. He's not an overly cheerful boy and very rarely goes out of his way to make others happy. He doesn't like reading and much prefers to pinch his classmates assignments rather than do his own work. He is a coward and won't stand up for himself or others. He does manipulate people to suit himself which will leave him in a bad spot one day if he's found out.
STRENGTHS: Freddy doesn't have many strengths, he understands long term goals and will work hard to achieve them he is also very caring if he lets himself be open with people. Fred has had a sad life and he lets that rule him. He's also very spiteful, which is a strength if someone tells him he can't do something because he will do whatever they told him he couldn't do.
QUIRKS & HABITS: he's rough. Has few manners and he often forgets them. He tends to dig chunks of wood out of tables during classes and like to draw crude pictures instead of taking notes.
OVERALL PERSONALITY DESCRIPTION: Freddie can be a pretty typical little boy most of the time. He doesn't have much of a mind for pointless mischief but is no stranger to making trouble when he can gain something from it. He is independent and stubborn most of the time. Nonconfromtational and broody the rest of the time.

CHARACTER HISTORY:
Born in early November to John and Esme Ashworth Rediie was poverty stricken right from the off. The couple never intended to have children, there was never enough food and their tiny little shaky of a house was always cold and wet.
They lived in a large and extensive garden belonging to a very wealthy man. John's job was to trim the weeds and tend the plants. He was paid nothing for his work, and was the only man employed so had very little time for much else.
Still they needed to eat. And as Esme is often sickly and weak John had at least three jobs if Freddie didn't go to help him about the gardening he'd never see his father.
When Freddie was 7 his mother died of whatever it was that always made her sick, a disease no doubt that they would have never been able to afford treatment for. When he was 11 he received a letter for Hogwarts.
It was this day he found out his mother was a muggleborn witch. She had a letter just like his but could never go to school. John said to Freddie that it was his mother's dying wish that Freddie go to school and do better than they could do for him. John had saved up the money - it would have been enough to get his mother the medicine she needed but she'd insisted Freddie go to Hogwarts and have a better life than the two of them together could give him. When he was nine the lord of their stately gardens told John a baby goat had been running around eating the flower heads. And John could eat it if he caught it. Freddie fell in love with the dear thing as soon as he found it stuck and injured in a fence but he knew they were going to eat it, John had no such notions and was sorry it wasn't an owl or cat or even a puppy but Freddy kept the goat, nursed it back to health and has cared for it ever since.
His first year at school was difficult. Neither of his parents could read or write so Freddie had to learn while he was at school. The determined little boy did it. Sometimes with help from the older students or his classmates. He worked incredibly hard to have his homework done and his spells perfect to honoured his mother's memory - her life had paid for this school.
In the summer after his first year Freddie came home to find the little shack where he lived gone. His father hadn't been there to pick him up and was no where to be found on the property. Lost and alone he ran to the manor house - a place forbidden to him. The rich landlords looked at the starving boy and his little goat and laughed, and told him his father was killed by a fever from a scratch he'd gotten in their garden and left untended, then they closed the door in his face.
Freddy knew a boy who lived at a magical orphanage in London. It took him near enough a week to walk there but he took himself to blames orphanage and asked as politely as he could for a place there because he had no where else to go.
