[/i][/div]NAME: Isobel-Grace Burke
AGE: 16
SOCIAL CLASS: Upper Class

PLAY-BY: Maia Mitchell

HAIR: Her dark brown hair falls in messy curls down her back.
SKINTONE: Slightly olive toned, beneath the typical British paleness.
HEIGHT & WEIGHT: 5’2, 110lbs
DISTINGUISHING MARKS: A small scar in the centre of her forehead.
OVERALL PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION: Isobel-Grace thinks of herself as a fairly attractive sixteen year old girl. Sure she is not a particularly stunning girl but she’s pretty enough. She stands at five foot two and still hasn’t quite grown out of her young body, her heart shaped face still round with youth. Isobel-Grace has brown hair and brown eyes, something she considers to be very boring about her appearance. She has a small button nose and a small mouth that is often smirking a little, as her mind wanders and she thinks about far away things.
NON-MAGICAL SKILLS: Isobel-Grace is an avid reader and writer, she is very skilled at writing for a woman in this era.
MAGICAL SKILLS: Isobel-Grace is a fairly average student, she enjoys her studies, but not so much so as she enjoys socialising with her friends, which leaves her with average grades, unlike her smart brother.
BEST/WORST CLASSES: Best class, history of magic- her sense of imagination managed to make the class somewhat interesting to her, worst class potions.
WEAKNESSES: Her lack of ability to pay attention for any length of time, her lack of acceptance of what she knows is going on if it does not fit in with the situation she has envisaged in her mind.
STRENGTHS: Her imagination, and capacity to love and forgive.
QUIRKS & HABITS: Isobel-Grace often zones out midway through a conversation or switches the subject as quickly as her mind makes the jump, leaving other people confused and a little bewildered by her.
OVERALL PERSONALITY DESCRIPTION: Isobel-Grace had always been a happy girl. Happy, a little airy, never fully listening to what you were saying she was a dreamer. She smiled a lot, laughed a lot and wrote in her journal a lot. Despite the usual hormones that came with being sixteen she wasn’t particularly aggressive or prone to arguing. She was generally a contented person.

CHARACTER HISTORY: Isobel-Grace grew up in England with her parents and twin brother in a fairly unspectacular fashion. They were just a happy family. Her mother and father cared for one another and for them and Isobel-Grace was never aware of anything being amiss.
From a young age Isobel-Grace was a dreamer. She liked to play dress up with the fancy clothes that she kept in her dress-up trunk. She liked to pretend to be a princess or a fairy- sometimes even a fairy princess! She didn’t enjoy books in the same way her brother did, much more likely to make up stories of her own while playing in the garden. She always took delight in doing creative things, building princess fairy castles out of bed sheets. She was always a free spirit, her mind drifting away during lessons caring more about what was going on in her own head than in the lesson books she was given.
Isobel-Grace was highly excited when it was time for her to go to Hogwarts. Her mother and father both spoke so highly of the school- and she was finally allowed to learn magic! After all the years of twirling twigs in the garden and pretending to do magic she was finally going to be allowed for real. It helped that she would have her brother there with her. She wouldn’t have to go to this new place alone and so she wasn’t afraid. In fact Brendon was much more afraid than she was. He was nervous and preferred to hide in his books to playing with the other kids. The news of their father going to prison shocked Isobel-Grace. She lived in her own little perfect fairy-tale and this didn’t fit in with her plan. So she liked to pretend that her father was away on a mission for all those years. Conquering dragons and liberating towns’ people. She kept it from her mind where he really was, still writing to him at least once a month to see how he was.
Isobel-Grace embraced boarding school culture. She made as many friends as she could, playing with anyone who wanted to. She loved studying magic, though she still struggled to pay attention during lessons, much more interested in the stories behind the spells, things that people had done with them, imagining what she could do. As she got older Isobel-Grace continued to keep her wide-eyed wonder.
