Mahlon Hensley (68) is married to Gwendolyn Tyler (65). The two have four children together. Their sons are Reginald (45), who is married to Theodora Hastings (44) and father to Edward (27) and Bethany (25); Mortimer (deceased) was married to Adella Yaxley (deceased) and they had a son, Landon (18). Their daughters are Grace (35), who is married to Julius Crouch (44) and has three daughters, Lydia (15), Darcy (12), Holland (4) and one son, Matthew (2); and Alexandria (25), who is married to Sloan Rinaldi (25).

Mahlon appears as a kind, caring man to his family, yet beneath that exterior exists a man who would make whatever sacrifice to better his own station in life. He strategical married his children off to families that he believed would benefit his at the time of marriage. The marriage, in his mind, is a business deal, a connection to another branch that can join the Hensley family tree. Adamant that these relations remain intact, he has always shown goodwill to his in-laws, though more and more he's come to question his youngest child's marriage, as she has yet to give birth to a child. Being the cunning man that he is, it is likely that Mahlon had a career in politics, or still does. Perhaps as a Judge? Or maybe he's a member of the International Confederation for Wizards? Something that doesn't take up much of his time, but also keeps him active so as to keep up good relations with others.

Reginald is a man that poses quick wit and a barbed tongue. He is known, amongst the family, for being the one to win in duels against his younger brother, his humor, and keen intellect. Given the chance, he would have traveled the world, but he was married to Theodora Hastings and soon had a son to care for. He is a rather responsible man and the thought of leaving his family for his own pursuits, as badly as he wanted them, never crossed his mind. He has a very close relationship with his sister Alexandria, his attitude towards her bordering that of a brother and father. Very intelligent, Reginald studied Potions extensively during his years at Hogwarts. He was rather fond of brewing potions that would make his "enemies" ill. The man is deeply passionate towards his wife and family, and also loyal to the same extent with those he cares about, such as his siblings.

She is courageous and spirited, though is often repressed from showing this due to her mother deeming it improper. Though she is forever in want of a logical standpoint in regards to arguments or happenings, she is also compassionate and caring.

Finally, her fourth child ended up being a male. To her displeasure, her husband now wants the two to have another child in the hopes that he will gain another son.
