As most of us can recall, Misarelle Pond and another male student were both murdered last year. Misarelle was being controlled by Septimus Malfoy. We really need to make some progress with this plotline, as it ties into another. And what is the other one you ask? Why, the election of a new Minister. Minister Fawley is retiring once they catch the perpetrator behind the acts, and it would be preferred if that happened this year, sooner rather than later. If anyone has ideas as to what to do, please say so. Two ideas I had were that Septimus frames someone already in play or an NPC is framed for it. That way Septimus is still at large, if Wien wants him to be. Another way to get the Minister to leave office would be for his family to be harmed due to his investigation into the matter. It would have to be pretty bad, though. Go ahead, throw out your ideas.

Since there have been a lot of magical creature controversy in the Prophet and a bad little circus wolf running around biting people, I think it would be effective to pin it on the magical creatures. Like a werewolf with a wand since it's illegal. That way it'd give rise to the plot of the Werewolf Uprising.

I am all for that. We have a few werewolves in play. Shall one of them be sacrificed or will we use an NPC?
Also, I feel like Eldon will have some trouble with controlling pack members that want a war with vampires.

I have Abaddon to put out there too, and Mal, if the chamber plotline ties into this as well mal can take the heat for septimus and be locked away for a spell though I don't want to rush the chamber plotline.

I feel like we're leaning more towards putting the blame on magical creatures then. I'm fully aware about the excitement for a new Minister for Magic election, so I feel like something that can be done within the next two months rather than another year will be our best option. Or someone can always offer up other ideas to unseat the current Minister? Upheaveal? Revolution? "Forced" resignation?

I'm sure the Prophet could cause a revolution. All of those horrid articles they write. Full of scandalous things. I'd be more than willing to make a character to take the fall if the chamber plot doesn't move quick enough.

If you are up for it, then yes, please. How might this revolution go down? Because I'm willing to offer up a Fawley child to be kidnapped. Then threats can be sent, the Ministry invaded, the Minister gives up his position for his child, and those that perpetrated the revolt are in custody. But the Minister is like, ,nope, I've had enough, I'm out. And then they need a new one. It'll be interesting because the blood purists could always back someone for their personal gain.

A kidnapping could go well. My evil guy can first send letters to the Daily Prophet, demanding that they publish them so that all can see. Then he directs them towards the Ministry of magic. Like he can start revealing secrets that others should not know, and then he starts to target the Minister himself with the letters and before you know it, he's kidnapping kids off the streets, rich kids, middle class, poor kids, and finally the Minster's kid. His next letter would be to start leaving the kids in impossible places where they can never be found and demands the resignation of Fawley in order to get the children back, and then and only then would he also reveal himself. I'm guessing he wants to be a martyr.
