Amara is a average height girl with a petite figure. Her hair colour has always been her pride and trademark. Although her big green eyes are also highly complimented. She is always dressed in very girly clothes, most of the time a one piece dress. She loves pastels especially pink. A lot of time is spend on her appearance. Looking good makes her feel more confident. However she doesn’t do it to impress others. She just loves spending time on such things. So she is seen wearing make up quite often. Actually she barely leaves the house without. It's part of who she is. Her legs are long and thin and often she thinks it's a shame that she should hide them under long dresses.
NON-MAGICAL SKILLS:
She has an eye for detail. This she has shown in her make up and painting skills. She also is great at making perfume and plans to make her future with it. Another helpful skill in this is that she knows when something is of good quality and when not. She is also good with animals and children.

Amara is talented in potions and herbology. She is also a very decent duelist.

She is a day dreamer and often expects too much in life. Another weakness is that she can be ignorant and naive. Amara isn't very good at keeping an eye on her money. It happens way too often that she spends it on clothes and jewelry while she needed it for food or to pay the bills. She also gives easily into peer pressure and cannot handle alcohol at all.

Amara always knows how to be positive in life and will recover from hurt quickly. To her friends she will always remain loyal even if they haven't seen each other in some time. When she set her head to something, she'll work towards that goal. Despite her being naive she is actually pretty smart. She specializes herself in knowing much about potions and can even create new ones herself.

Amara is a day dreamer, she loves to read and write stories of her own. However sometimes she has a little trouble accepting the real world for what it is. However strangely this also made her optimistic despite being easily disappointing when things don't go the way she expects them to. She is also a little naive sometimes but is wise enough to recognize trouble.
When it comes to physical work she can be quite lazy. Amara prefers to work with her mind. she is confident in both her looks and her talents. Which is perhaps the thing which makes her stand out most. There is always a bright smile on her face. She lets herself be heard in a group of friends but also among strangers. Standing in the middle point of attention is no problem for her. If she is flirted with, she'll flirt back(depending on what impression she gets from the boy) but keeps it proper.

CHARACTER HISTORY:
This ginger girl was the result of a drunken evening from John Owen and his army friends. The young man resulted in flirting and sleeping with a woman who he didn't have a relationship with. Amara grew up not knowing her mother. Having a child would hinder her in her life, and nobody should find out. However the girl was lucky enough that her mother could trace everyone easily. Not that it had been hard for her. Amara had the exact same hair and eye colour as her father. Just her face and shapes from her mother. John Owen however loved his daughter the moment he laid eyes on her. The thought of putting her away was never in his mind. And he would do everything to be a good father to her. There were no nannies to look after her and her father had not many family members left. He even quit his job at the army and decided to become a police officer instead. Even if it were long days, he’s surely come home every night. They didn’t have much income because he tried to be home as much as possible. However Amara was a happy little girl and she knew her father loved her very much.
Her best friend was her father’s German shepherd dog, named Cookie(Amara came up with the name). The dog was also in service at the muggle police and one night John came home and had to tell his daughter that Cookie wasn’t coming back. The dog was shot by drugs criminals after a chase. This had made a big impact on the happy girl and slowly she began to learn there was suffering in the world as well. John didn’t have money to pay for his daughter’s education, however their old neighbour used to be a teacher at the London University and taught the girl how to read, write and calculate.
However John slowly began to notice he began to have trouble breathing and doing other things. When he visited a muggle doctor they told him he most likely had lung cancer. And he wouldn’t have much longer than a year left. John tried to find a foster family for his daughter with the time he had left however was unable to find anything. Amara was about to turn six when she first began to show her magic abilities. She found out about it when she was playing with her father’s old toy horses. She made them move without touching them.
Not much later her father was on his dying bed. His little girl stood with him and prepared lucky charms and herbs which were said to have curing powers. However when doctors couldn’t help a six year old girl could only hope. The man died holding her hand, she cried the whole time. She stood by his side until the neighbour came to check on them.
After her father had been pronounced dead, a man from a special orphanage came to pick her up. There she started off a little shy but slowly began to develop herself and enjoy the company of other children. She also found out she was a witch and there were more people with such abilities. The enthusiastic girl had been considered for adoption many times. However most people went for a boy after all, or never let something hear from them again. Amara didn’t mind, she could never see another man as her father anyways. She was happy enough with the kindness the Blakes gave her.
Thanks to the orphanage she could go to school when she turned eleven. When she went to Hogwarts she was sorted into Hufflepuff. She found her talent in some subjects and struggles into other. During her school time she had no trouble making friends. Her open personality helped her with that. However she also faced the difference in classes and blood status for the first time. Which was something she didn’t quite understand.
Around the age of fifteen did boys suddenly began to become interesting. From the end of her fifth year till halfway her sixth year she was courted by who she thought was her true love. However the boy left her once his parents told him to find a girl with a good name. Amara was hurt by this pretty much, he’d been her first kiss after all and she really imagined a future together. However her friends helped her get over it.
After her graduation she started off independant, working at a shop where they sold potion ingredients. However with the money she inherited from her father and the money she earned she wanted to start her own shop soon. Still she dreams about finding true love or at least find someone to live with and share each other’s happiness.
