OVERALL PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION:
human: She has blonde hair that sometimes changes its shade, however, it's mostly ashen blonde. Her face shape is small and thin with high cheekbones, her upper lip is more pronounced than her lower lip and she looks like a fragile young girl. Her body is thin and underweight and she mostly looks morose. veela: Since she's half, she appears like an angel of death, her claws would come out and grow to at least 3 inches (crooked and sharp), her teeth become pointed and needle-like, the talons on her feet comes out and her wings are the same color of her hair with a mixture of black and gray. Her eyes would start to glow in the darkness for her to see better.
NON-MAGICAL SKILLS:
She can sing. Her songs are usually taken from her travels and nobody taught her how to do so. It just came to her one day and she couldn't let go of the music.
MAGICAL SKILLS:
She can slightly change her appearance (hair, eye, and skin color, but that's just limited to it), she has no yet matured to have the hypnotic powers of the Veela yet she does magnetize men
WEAKNESSES:
She falls easily to her emotions and when she does, she turns immediately to her Veela side. She lacks control and can sometimes go feral, letting the monster get the better of her. Hoping wouldn't be her strong point as right now, she easily loses hope.
STRENGTHS:
She can be tough on the outside and she knows exactly where to draw the line. Her resilience is the one that keeps getting her through the hardships that she experiences and her instinct to survive is high.
QUIRKS & HABITS:
McKayla likes to lie down curled up and not think of anything. She's traumatized so her primal instinct would be to quickly look around for danger before acting on something or before bringing her guard down.
OVERALL PERSONALITY DESCRIPTION:
She's fierce when she's a Veela but when she becomes human, she becomes rather vulnerable and just cowers until aggravated. Somehow, she has lost her hope in finding something better yet she still has not given up living. She dreams of worlds beyond hers and uses that to escape from the reality that she's in. She's kind and compassionate but can be a heartless creature once she gives in to her monstrous side.

CHARACTER HISTORY:
McKayla Per du Ange, whose name was given to her by her captor around 10 years ago, was taken from her home in Martinique, France. She could not remember most of what happened but all the memory that she had was that she grew up with a poor merchant who found her in the mountains of Carbet. He raised her and found out that she was not human. However, when she was eight, her "father" who was a gambler lost a bet to a collector and she was the prize.
The collector then named her McKayla instead of Adaline and gave her the surname Per du Ange, meaning silver angel. Having been given away made her feel depressed, betrayed and angry...at her father and the world. She was already starting to show signs of aggression and the collector decided to lock her up. A decade after, she was able to escape and in the process killed one of the collector's men. She was a rogue and she managed to survive for 2 years before being caught.
Her captor sold her to a travelling circus in the hopes of freeing the village from such a monster and gaining money from it. She now travels with the circus, but is entirely unhappy and wishes to escape someday. Having been part of the circus, yet not completely understanding who she was or even WHAT she was, she felt as if she never belonged there or anywhere and would just choose to isolate herself. Even though that was the case, she still went along with the circus as they treated her better than her captor did.
