Sooo, here the muse revival quidditch game. Let the ideas flow so we can soon start playing this.
Let the games begin.
(please post your ideas from the chatbox here again so they don't get lost)

Guys, how about we do a Quidditch match to get activity and muse up again? Maybe not with players as we have too few but maybe just with the crowd, maybe a lovely fight? Something like that?
maybe the two teams with the least players? Or we figure out what the action should be since it's totally likely quidditch players are involved and then pick teams where they aren't part of, of possible
I'd suggest letting Hufflepuff and Ravenclaw play instead since Gryffindor and Slytherin have much drama potential while not playing

How do we decide who wins? Because if we look at it rpwise I think it'd be kinda lame if Ravenclaw or Hufflepuff won. Seeing their members haven't rped practacing and such things. While as Almir he went to gain team members and there has been an attemptes training. He had many threads where I said he had been training his team hard or was just done with practice.
Ravenclaw is only Lucien seeing Peyton isnt active anymore and Hufflepuff is just John and San. I dont think that will be fun to play out

How about the team which wins now doesn't get to win next year for sure

Yeah, I can't imagine it would be fun to play out a game with so few people and even with Gryffindor which is just lacking two Chasers as far as I know (I should finally make Leander the Keeper...) I don't think it would work out so well. Open for suggestions though.
However I do see your point that it would be strange for a team which hasn't been talked about at all to win. However we could as well just make it another game. They don't really have finals, do they? Just another game to win points?

Yeah you could have Hufflepuff and Ravemclaw battle for the third place and later or not rp it Slytherin vs Gryffindor. The real drama starts when one of them wins and the other loses.

We could have Slytherin win this year and Gryffindoe next year as we can say they've become a real team at that point.

So what we're getting at here is not actually having the game and all, but just rping out the students in the stands afterwards, yeah? Or on the Quidditch pitch with friends? With housemates celebrating the win of the cup?
I don't think we should decide ourselves which team wins, but use a random system that will decide for us, because we could be biased. And realistically, the team that wins this year could also win next year.

a random system cant decide which team is better we can have a look at the characters ourselves and compare positions. For example I can admit that Sander the Hufflepuff seeker plays very selfishly.

I don't think it should be random at all. I think maybe we should have someone stage the quidditch matches, so an official 'announcer'. like for the actual match, the players would make their move so; "Trev aimed the bludger at the Hufflepuff seeker's goofy blonde head' The next reply would be the announcer saying if it was a hit or a miss, who scores or saves, keep the score updated ect. Doesn't matter if its biased really because the next announcer will do it differently. Its sports sometimes slytherin will flatten gryffindor. hufflepuff and ravenclaw might have a really close game. I think it would be simpler and more interesting to leave it up to someone instead of rolling dice and drawing names from a hat and trying to leave everything up to chance - if whoever is announcing wants to leave it up to chance that's their own choice too. To make it a little fairer, if we wanted to do it this way, we could develop a skill rating for quidditch players so Trev would be like a 4/10 because he's shit at actually flying but Sander would be an 8, so its likely Sander would dodge the bludger, but ultimately it would be up to the 'announcer' and that's another discussion. As for having a match without actually playing the match, we would have to write about what is going on for people to react anyway, and it gives us a chance to use the quidditch players we could impose a maximum word limit to keep it simple and easy to read with all the activity.
