OVERALL PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION: Sylvia is a petite girl with long red hair and brown eyes. Her skin is fair and she dresses nothing short of lady like. She is often found smiling, or staring off to space with a thoughtful look upon her face. She prefers soft colors like pink and white and has a very soft if not shy laugh.
NON-MAGICAL SKILLS: She likes to read the stars and help her mother clean the house, although they have house elves to do that. She enjoys making small sweets, and coming up with designs for dresses.
MAGICAL SKILLS: When it comes to magic, she finds that she has a knack for Potions and DADA despite her small and innocent frame.
BEST/WORST CLASSES: Potions, DADA, Astronomy, and Healing are her best classes. Her worst classes include Care of Magical Creatures, Ancient Runes, Herbology, and Charms.
WEAKNESSES: Sylvia is a very shy girl who often finds herself lost in the crowd. She's a bit of a wallflower. She does not like one on one conversation for it makes her nervous. Being the center of attention is nerve wrecking. She doesn't have much of a backbone either, for she mostly does whatever she is told. She has an awful fear of bugs, which she has forced herself to get over for her Potions classes. It is a well known fact that she is not an outdoors kind of person either. She does not take joys in walks through the woods, for she is quite frightful. Her wealth is also a weakness. While she is not arrogant, she is used to being pampered. Pouting is childish in her option, but she can be known to sulk in silence, not that she demands all things to go her way. She also finds the ghosts of Hogwarts to be terrifying, and even after seven years have not been able to get over their ghostly presence.
STRENGTHS: She may not be the most courageous or outspoken girl there is, and ultimately doesn't have many strengths. She is however kind and loving and passionate. She adores her family, especially her brothers and sisters and finds strength in being near them. While she doesn't always keep a level head, for she can be a bit emotional, she does manage to keep her emotions in check until she is alone. She also find peace in being alone in places like the astronomy tower where she can stare at the stars for hours on end. Her appearance makes her vulnerable, which she is, but at the same time she can easily defend herself as well, but she rarely recognizes her strengths, since they seem so minor and unimportant.
QUIRKS & HABITS: She never fails to be a lady. She does not speak unless spoken to in the presence of a man and has excellent mannerism. She's the perfect woman of the times. Whenever she's feeling exceptionally shy she wrings her hands and shifts her gaze to and fro. She also very rarely makes eye contact.
OVERALL PERSONALITY DESCRIPTION: To put things simple she's a wallflower and a doormat. She never puts up a fight and does what she's told, never objecting to anything. She enjoys her pampered life, which is the reason for her never complaining when she disagrees with something. A bit skittish and very shy, she makes do with the situation and does her best to appease whoever she is conversing with. She is far from being a feminist and knows to keep her head down. Not exceptionally smart, but not unintelligent, she spends her days in a sort of daze. She would prefer to spend her days starring at the stars instead of interacting with people, especially when it comes to one on one conversations. Overall, Sylvia is sort of just dare, waiting to be seen or bypassed.

CHARACTER HISTORY: Born the last daughter to Diana and Andrew Beaumont, Sylvia was taught from the start on how to be a proper lady. As a young girl she watched her sister and mother closely, mimicking them in order to be successful like them. She was told constantly that she would grow up and marry a man from a proud and noble family and bear him children. She would be the one to unite the Beaumont family to other purebloods. To keep their bloodline strong and stable. Sylvia never protested to the life that was laid before her. She studied often with her sister while the governess lectured, but most days she simply wished to be alone to look at the stars later that evening.
Exposed to extravagant balls and tea parties, she became accustomed to showing her manners and more or less listening more than speaking. She preferred the large parties, for few paid attention to her, but when the ladies had their gathers for tea, she found herself to be the center of attention, which she did not like at all, but never complained. As her time drew nearer to attend Hogwarts, she became both excited and nervous. What house would she go to? What if she didn't belong anywhere? Would she be able to study all seven years? Her sister was a third year and parents had spoken of pulling her out of Hogwarts after her fifth year. Sylvia didn't care if she was pulled out of Hogwarts though. Her duty was to become a woman with enough education to get by before she was engaged, then married. Afterwards she had plans to be a housewife and give birth to three children, preferably two girls and a boy.
The first year at Hogwarts was strange for her. Lillian was there to keep her company, which she was grateful for, but they were still a few years apart and Lillian had already made her friends. She was not particularly close with her brothers, but was somewhat aware that they made sure she was safe. The next few years seem to go by in a blur. She took a liking to Potions and DADA, but her pass time pleasure was Astronomy. She could name just about every constellation. Other classes failed her and she found them difficult. It seemed like such a hassle to ask for help from a Professor, especially those who expected her to know such things, considering she came from a well established family and her elder siblings were fairly remarkable when it came to their studies. It made her quite sad and she would often cry in the Astronomy tower afterwards.
Now that she is in her final year, she does her best to stay out of the way and just blend in, which isn't very hard. When her father informed her that she would be engaged to Lucien de Godrin she dutifully accepted, not that she could turn down the offer, it was not her place. She finds Lucien to be interesting. She does admire his intelligence, but she finds his height intimidating. His friends are very odd in her mind, but she dare not say it aloud. Raven scares her to the point in which she could faint. Sebastian is cruel in her mind and Gideon is far too bubbly for his own good and quite the troublemaker. All Sylvia wishes to do is to graduate and complete the marriage so that she can live the life she has been raised to live.
