Ainsley Ana Jane Elwood
[/font][/div]NAME: Ainsley Ana Jane Elwood
AGE: 16
SOCIAL CLASS: Middle class
STATUS: Secretly dating Camden Fawley
PLAY-BY: Gabriella Wilde
BlOOD STATUS: Muggleborn
EYES: A piercing dark blue
HAIR: Wavy blonde hair that falls to the middle of her back.
SKINTONE: Fair, but turns pink easily if in the sun too long.
HEIGHT & WEIGHT: 5'9 and 130 lbs.
DISTINGUISHING MARKS: Only a few freckles among her face.
OVERALL PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION: Ainsley Ana Elwood gets her looks from her mother, but her stature from her father. Her eyes are like her mothers, a dark, piercing blue. Despite getting her height from her father, Ainsley doesn't stand as tall as him. The sixteen-year-old will never slouch, something she always got reprimanded by her mother for doing. Ainsley's long, blonde hair frames her round face when she wear it down, which she likes to do often, despite Mrs. Elwood's wishes. Her lips are full and pink.
NON-MAGICAL SKILLS: Miss Elwood does very well with sewing. Her mother, governess, and grandmother say that her cross-stitches are very good. Ainsley is also gifted at the piano. Her parents always pushed her to play since she was little to give her something to do so they could go back to their reading. Eventually, she developed a skill to play.
MAGICAL SKILLS: Her magical skill is to quickly understand Charms, if that would be considered a skill. She wasn't blessed with being able to play sports or some type of magical ability. The only thing she seems to be exceptional at is her skill to learn Charms.
BEST/WORST CLASSES: Ainsley's best class is Charms; it's something that comes natural to her. Like all the other students, she doesn't get it on the first try. However, it usually only takes a few times for her to master something. While reading the material, the blonde feels like she can't absorb enough, always wanting to learn more about how to charm an object to do this or that. Miss Elwood's worst subject would definitely have to be Potions. Everything has to be exactly as such at the exact time. That is something that doesn't come naturally to the young woman, especially when she wants to be doing something that she wants to. Potions is a subject that bores her more than History of Magic. It doesn't come easily to her, but that makes her try to work harder at it, despite hating the subject.
WEAKNESSES: Ainsley's spends too much time studying, instead of being with her friends or beau. Sometimes homework will come before sleep or meals. The blonde feels like she has more to prove to the Professors and other students because she is a Muggleborn. Another weakness of hers is Camden. Even though she will do homework instead of spending time with him, he somehow always gets her to do what he wants. It's not always a good thing, nor a bad one.
STRENGTHS: A strength of hers is her knowledge. Her head is always in a book when she isn't busy, always want to learn something more. Her mother says her looks are a strength, saying how they will get her a proper husband one day who will be able to provide for her. Ainsley's not sure how her looks could be a strength, but the blonde never sees it. Another strength is her kindness. Despite the bloodline prejudice, Ainsley always try to treat others decent, except she stays away from the Slytherins. Slytherins already have a mean thought about her because she was born a Muggle.
QUIRKS & HABITS: A quirk of Ainsley's is that she is terrified of birds, but she absolutely adores her pet owl. The young girl had a horrific incident with goose at the park which left her traumatized. Miraculously, Prudence, her owl, seemed different, leaving Ainsley Ana only liking one bird. A habit of hers is that when she is bored and a book isn't around, is to play the piano, even if one isn't there.
OVERALL PERSONALITY DESCRIPTION: Ainsley Ana comes off as shy because she would keep to herself and read a book. The young blonde is actually really sweet and isn't quick to judge, unlike most people at Hogwarts. However, her patience can only last so long towards others when they are being completely ignorant and arrogant. Her temper usually ends up with her being frustrated with anything and everything. Something that she tries to do is always be better than what she is, even if it's getting through a hard class, mastering a hard spell, or even if it's accepting other people's opinions of her (even if it's something she can't change). Ainsley was always used to being liked where she was, but that's not exactly the case at Hogwarts because she is a Muggleborn. The young witch is trying to get better at accepting the things she can not change.

CHARACTER HISTORY: Ainsley Ana came from a middle class Muggle family where her father worked as a junior clerk for the city. Growing up, her mother would be around the house while the children were with their governess. Ainsley Ana spent much time with her siblings, learning a lot about them. Their father was often at work, and their mother was around during specific hours of the day with her children while they did some studies and to teach the children etiquette.
However, Ainsley Ana would want to see her mother more, and strange occurrences would happen when the older woman was around which made her pay more attention to her middle child. Some of the occurrences that would happen was food flying from Ainsley's plate, books randomly smashing to the ground, and once the dogs hair turned green. All of these coincidences were erie to the family, and they weren't sure what to do. The family priest was even at the home and had no answers, neither did the family until the middle Elwood child turned eleven.
On her eleventh birthday, Ainsley got a letter from an owl addressed to her from a school called Hogwarts. Her family was skeptical about it, not believing that their daughter was a "witch," especially since they didn't believe in those kind of things. Bravely, Ainsley sent out a letter when another owl showed up with another letter saying the same things. Surprisingly, there was a reply and her father started writing this phantom writer.
With a lot of persuasion, Ainsley Ana went to Hogwarts with her parents savings. At the school, a lot of the students were hesitant of her because she was a Muggleborn, something she read that many "pureblood" families didn't condone, especially people from the Slytherin house. Because of her pleasant personality, Ainsley made friends, even one in Slytherin, named Camden Fawley. The friendship quickly turned into something more between the two. Their relationship was a secret because of their bloodlines. All Ainsley knew was that she wanted to marry Camden one day and didn't care about what his family would say.

ROLEPLAY SAMPLE: The sun was covering the grounds of Hogwarts as snow fell from the sky. It was the first time the sun had been seen in weeks. A person could find most of the Hogwarts populations out on the grounds enjoying the brief warmth that the sun gave off. Most people were having a snow ball fight or building random things with the snow. Either way, it was something that Ainsley Ana Elwood wasn't doing. She was inside, roaming the corridors.
The corridors were very dull for some reason today. It could have been for the lack of people inside, or just because Ainsley Ana was bored out of her mind. Boredom seemed to control Ainsley Ana's mind most of the time. She always got her homework done on time. In fact, it was mostly done early. Ainsley would hang out with her friends, but then they would have to go do something. With that, that left the blonde in the company of boredom.
Time went by slowly. It felt like she would take a thousand steps, when in reality, she would only take ten. Boredom was not healthy for her. Sick of thinking that she was taking more steps then what she actually was, Ainsley Ana sat on one of the various benches that covered the corridor. Tilting her head back, Ainsley Ana then started counting seconds in her head.
