The Headmaster's Office is a circular room reached by a circular moving starcase which is guarded by a gargoyle on the third floor. The gargoyle only moves aside when given the right password.

At the base of the Clock Tower there is a large open space in which the pendulum swings. Two stairways lead up in the tower. The Clock Tower is one of the main entrances to the castle.

The Trophy Room is accessed through a corridor called Armoury due to the suits of armour standing along the walls. Inside all sorts of trophies are kept along with lists of prefects and Head boys and girls. It’s always open, even at night.

Hidden behind the statue of Gunhilda of Gorsemoor is a secret passageway that leads to the cellar of Honeydukes (!). Once the password ‘dissendium’ is given the statue’s hump opens to reveal a short slide down to the passage. Not many pupils know about this escape route!

In this classroom Defence Against the Dark Arts is taught. The current teacher decorates it after his or her liking with course work. The room is furnished with usual desks and chairs.

The Charms Classroom is organised a bit like a square Amphitheatre with desks on stairs rising up from the front to the back to provide overabundance of space for charm work. The bleacher like desks are separated by a long walkway, leading to the professor’s desk. There is also a cupboard with objects needed for Charms practice.
