When the winter months get too cold students are known to hang out by the window located in a secluded area to have a smoke, or to snog their boyfriends or girlfriends without having to worry about the watchful eyes of other students.
Aside from that, this corridor is manly used the same as all the others, to get from one class to the next. Though unlike the others there are benches along the walls where students can rest in between classes. |

On the Fifth Floor is the entrance to the Ravenclaw Tower with the Common Room and Dormitories of the Ravenclaw students. A door with a bronze knocker shaped like an eagle permits entrance after a posed question is answered correctly.
The circular Common Room behind it is decorated in the house colours blue and bronze and holds a marble stature of Rowena Ravenclaw. |

Prefects, Head Boy and Head Girl as well as the Quidditch Captains have access to this bathroom with a password. There is a large bath tub sunk in the ground with golden taps all around to fill the bath with different colored and scented water remarkably fast.
