The Dungeon Corridor is a long, gloomy stone corridor that leads from the narrow spiral staircase, coming down from the Viaduct Entrance, to the staircase leading down to the blank stone wall which is the entrance to the Slytherin Dungeon. The Potions Classroom, and Head of Slytherin's office, can be found along this corridor. The Slytherin Common Room is adjacent to this corridor.

This cupboard is a small room off the Dungeon Corridor, just before the dungeon hall. It has been said that many a dark creature has been hidden in this cupboard over the years, though these are merely rumors stemming from the true story, which occurred in 1603 when a student hide a deformed arachnid in the cupboard.

Of course now and then students need the chance to let out all the pent up energy. How better to do it than with excessive festivities. This is the place for it where teachers won’t come to investigate. Just make sure you get back to your common room undetected.

Here Potions are taught. There are tables with enough space for potions making and on one or the other a few remains of one or the other draught may be found. In cupboards on the walls and an adjoining room potion ingredients are kept.

The Slytherin common room is, due to its location, a dungeon-like room with furniture in the House colour green. It is located partway under the lake, which adds greenish light to the room. The entrance is secured by passwords, which change every fortnight.
