*One should note that although Nonverbal Magic is a nice skill, it makes the spells less powerful when cast without an incantation.
**The only parseltongues being accepted are direct descendants or parents/ansestors of the heir of the Gaunt line (Marvolo Gaunt). See Kath and Morgan for character information.

Name: Maximus Desford Age: 31 Profession: Auror Ability applying for: Wandless in training Reason for approval: Before entering the Ministry and going into training to become an Auror, Maximus did some (to some extend involuntary) travelling. He hunted down criminals and murderers on his own without working for any organisation as he dislikes having to obey orders greatly and quickly feels pressured if someone demands something from him. He doesn't like being dependent for fear of being left alone, struggeling. Rather he lives his life on his own terms. However he became lonely over the time after the split from his family and started drinking and smoking. He would go into training to have some more hours of his day occupied and be less dependent on his wand. He wants to be able to move more freely when he's not all dependent on the stick of wood anymore and determined to master the art with hard work, just like he did at school and auror training. Once he mastered it, he hopes to be a little less powerless against the evils of the world. (I hope that made sense. My thoughts started tumbling over each other in the process  ) |

Reason for approval:Artemisia has always had a knack for Transfiguration, thus she chose to teach the class at Hogwarts. While being an animagus does not have a direct impact on teaching the course, it shows that she is serious about her work. She also likes to try and keep her students entertained, so turning into a Ferret to keep them awake and inspire them to work hard to exceed their own expectations would be a plus. It would also help to teach that portion of the lesson to the third year students as well as to help those who wish to take up the training to understand what it takes.

Alice's mother was an indulgent veela who landed herself in an unwanted marriage for her carelessness. Alice's abilities are hereditary but have physical and psychological limitations. She's rather frightened of fire for starters and her ability is no more than a bit of a party trick seeing as the flames she countries are barely hot enough to burn skin.
The allure is excellent for all endeavours but those of love because for some strange unbeknown reason it won't work on Lucien...

Reason for approval: Though neither of her parents are have this ability, Alexandria, like other Metamorphagi, was randomly born with this ability to change her appearance at will. It is affected greatly by her moods. She is often unable to use it and when she is able to use the ability, it does not result in a very good effect due to her parents having shunned her use of it when she was very young. As she was born with light hair as an infant that gradually darkened, her parents waved off the changing of her brown hair to a light blonde as light from the sun illuminating the left over blonde strands. The couple called in a Healer for help when they discovered her eyes to have changed color to a dark brown, red freckles appearing on her face, resembling the dolly she held in her hands.
When it was determined that she was not at all ill, a team that studies rare magical abilities came to observe her. The first few times they were with her, her appearance remained the same, but as she became more used to them, the two year old began to subtly mirror the men and woman, changing her hair color to the dark black the same as the lady that observed her, her nose became longer like one of the men, and her skin tone darkening. It was determined by the team that the little girl was indeed born with the rare ability.
Growing up, Alexandria was scolded by her parents when she would change her appearance in any form, because they viewed it as something that would inhibit her later on in life. It was something of a deformity to them, though they did not say so to her. Still, she could not help her blue eyes becoming a bit darker when she was sad or her hair suddenly being fuller when she wished to have a really good hair day. This is not an ability she knows how to use properly and is hesistant of revealing to others, thus only very few are aware of it.
This can be an integral part of her background, growing up with this ability that she was meant to be secretive about. It can also help boost her career at the Ministry if she stops hating it enough to reveal it to others. That will be the hard part of it. Her parents have poisoned her against it so much that she will first have to unlearn to hide it and be ashamed of herself in order to actually use it. Even then, she has to learn how to channel her will to change her appearance. It was easy when she was young, because as very young child she didn't not have so many thoughts holding her back, but as an adult she does. I could see a very interesting plot involving other characters as well as some character development for Alexandria, but I won't be devastated if the ability is rejected.

Reason for approval: as a Malfoy, Belvina had been expected to be nothing but the best in everything she does. As she was well informed in Curses, and Hexes, as a Malfoy, a child from a Dark family, the Patronus charm being considered as a 'light' spell, she had gone out of her way to prove that just because it was a 'light' spell and that she was from a 'dark' family, it was not a hindrance on learning to cast and master the spell.
During her sixth year, she had finally decide to research, learn, and practice the Patronus and after a sixth whole months of meditating, theorizing, and practising, Belvina had finally been able to cast a corporal patronus in a form of a Flemish Giant rabbit. She practiced two hours three times a week for another two month until getting the hang of the spell and being able to use it as a messenger as well. Only after her seventh year did Belvina showed it to anyone else and had used it to send a message to Ammon the night she had returned after graduating.
Belvina felt accomplished as she was probably one of the fee Malfoys who could actually master a 'light' spell to such a degree... not that she knows if there was any other Malfoy that could do it aside from her.

Reason for approval: He has a natural ability to shut down any emotions and compassion, as the jerk he is, and with proper training could become a true Occlumens. Not to mention, his magical abilities have always been on the strong side, as he was able to fairly well control his 'accidental' magic when he was younger. He expresses a deep desire to learn Occlumency above everything but perhaps the Dark Arts.

Eh, I'll just put this one on just to have it done... We can decide the whole plot with this later, and what Septimus has to do with stuff, after Wien gets on and I can verify the plot idea with Septimus. However, he still possesses the ability, it just is used and discovered differently in my own plot.
