Some scars from whippings when he's been caught, he has a thick scar running around his neck because they tried to hang him this one time. nothing on his face though.
OVERALL PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION:
He's a menacing creature, he appears slim but its all strong muscles, hes very tall, with broad shoulders and dark hair and eyes, he tends to hiss a lot. other than that hes rather unremarkable, his face is oval shaped and often unshaven though he'd shave if he had the option, he has few markings or blemishes on his skin though is often covered in grime. Despite his menacing apperance, his eyes give away his uncrtainty and the fact he's miserable and terrified.
NON-MAGICAL SKILLS:
He's strong and fast and has exceptional hearing, comes with the territory, he's also scarily smart, and has uncanny self control for a vampire (this will come back to bite him). He can speak English and German, and has heard enough of other languages to recognize them.
MAGICAL SKILLS:
He was born a wizard and can use basic magic. He's not good enough to even call that a skill.
WEAKNESSES:
Born in Germany, in 1594 where being a witch or wizard resulted in a hanging he never learned magic. He's emotionally unstable and on the verge of going feral any day now. He isn't allowed to carry a wand, and if he cant carry a wand he can't use magic. He buys them from shady shops sometimes or takes them from wizards he's killed.
STRENGTHS:
He can be compassionate and has an oustanding ability for forgiveness and love. Johann is capable of great mercy and huge regret. He can push his guilt aside but it always catches up with him.
QUIRKS & HABITS:
He'll lay his victims to rest as respectfully as he can, no matter how many there are. He still breathes, and sighs and sneezes and coughs even though he doesn't have to, and by his age he shouldn't be. He tends to stay extremely still when not otherwise occupied, and it can be unnerving. Especially if he forgets to blink or breathe.
OVERALL PERSONALITY DESCRIPTION:
He's a total nutter. He looks and acts the part of the big bad vampire but theres nothing behind it, he feels like a human does, still, after all this time. His personality is unstable at best, he can already feel the grip he has over the feral, animalistic thing inside him slipping.

CHARACTER HISTORY:
Born during the witch trials in Germany to Annalise Gisburt, a muggleborn witch and Hanz Gisburt, a farmer on their family farm Johann grew up in a reletavely calm household. His parent's marriage was arranged, but they were not unhappy (Annalise had kept her witchery a secret). He shocked both his parents when he started doing magic, as only women could be witches.
Her husbands reaction to their freakish child made Annalise kept her mouth shut for fear of her husband about her own magic but she fiercely protected her son. Johann was 4 when he began showing magic when he was seven, in an incident of accidental magic in public, his mother was accused of being a witch and hung.
After that, Hanz was the sole carer of his son and neglected and beat the boy, feeding him enough to keep him alive and putting him to work on the farm. At age 16 Johann left home, at age 17 his father died, and by age 19 he'd made his own life working with plants in a Muggle Apothecary. The daughter of his boss became a constant in his life, Miss Georgina Holterb and the two fell in love, and with her father's blessing were married.
It took them years to conceive, and Johann was 30 years old when Rosemarie was born. Six years later he was set upon by a vampire in the dark and turned. He went back to his family, exercising outstanding self control in not killing them. His wife, who also knew and accepted him as a wizard (he'd told her because he knew Rosemarie would be a witch as well) said to him they'd figure something out.
Despite being capable of self control, when he fed he killed immense amounts of people. The local authorities took notice and the scare of a vampire swept their city.
He was hunted and sentenced to an execution, they whipped him, hung him but he survived and escaped. The guards did not chase him, and when he turned to see why, they dragged his wife and daughter to the gallows and hung them.
Johann ran away, he traveled all over Germany still trying to hold his morals and still killing hundreds of people over the years. He felt as though he was failing his wife and daughter and his mother with all the killing, but he could not bring himself to kill himself, otherwise his family had died for nothing. So the guilt he bottled inside himself grew and grew, and he found himself enjoying the kills he made more and more as the guilt of actually slaughtering people overcame the guilt of letting his family die. He also found his self control was getting better the more he killed.
Currently, Johann is trying his very best to survive, since the end of the witch hunts he's been having not so much trouble blending in, however because of his German heritage he's finding society regretting him more and more as the popularity of Germany declines in this lead up to WW1.
His emotions are wearing his sanity thin, he cannot keep living being crushed by so much guilt. Johann was at risk of losing himself to his vampire instincts, and he did, one day, in 1853 he began killing and did not stop, if he wasn't hunting someone he was killing them, he killed hundreds, if not thousands of people. He needs something to bring himself back to his own mind and thoughts but without remembering who he is or what his name is its not likely he'll manage it on his own.
