To @eve
Dear Eve,
I guess you've read in the papers about what's happened here at Hogwarts these days. First of all, I'm fine. I haven't been there, not seen anything, unlike some others, but it is kind of hard to accept that the girl who died was in Hufflepuff too, in the same year even. But who am I to tell you of all people. You know that I can't imagine how it must've felt like for you... But I want you to know that you can count on me to be there for you. How're you holding up big sis? I had to think of you so often these days that I went to Honeydukes to get you something. Maybe it makes you feel better. And I hope the owl doesn't eat it on the way. I really miss you! And I can't wait to come home for Christmas. Amber and I, both of us. Even though I don't have any presents yet.
Hoping to see you soon, John
(He forgot to attach the sweets. OOC: I want to wait how the sweet buying thread goes first)

My dearest brother,
Indeed I have seen the papers and I am quite shocked that such a thing happened at Hogwarts. It was supposed to be the most secure place to be. I am glad to hear that you and Amber are okay, if something happened to one of you I would not know what I was going to do. I know it might be scare but there are aurors now and I believe everything will be okay. It will not happen again and eventually they will find who did it. Poor girl, she had a whole life ahead of her, I hope she found peace. Anyways, take good care of yourself and Amby. If there is anything you need, owl me and I will be on my way.
I am doing fine, things have gone so quiet since Loxius left this world. It is probably something which needs time, I truly loved him and he deserved better than this fate. It has been a month now and life goes on, my two jobs are helping me keep my mind occupied. Thanks for your concern, little bro.
Haha I think your owl might have eaten them along the way. But do not worry, I was not planning on getting fat anyways. I added a little gift for you and one for our little angel as well. Because no matter if I am no longer there, I will still remain your protective old sis.
Take care, I see the two of you at Christmas. I am looking forward to that.
Eve

Eve,
as if one bar of chocolate could get you fat. I don't believe a word of what you say. But I can't believe the owl ate it! It was supposed to be a joke! I'll sure use another owl next time. And of course I'll give Amber her present as well. I'm sure it might come in handy. She sends her love.
It's good to hear that you're ok. I hope I can help cheer you up when we're coming home and we can do fun things together.
I completely forgot to tell you that we had a Halloween party at Hogwarts again. A fellow Hufflepuff organized it again like last year. Don't be disappointed, but I just went all in black. It was nice though. Some of the other costumes were really great and I had lots of fun. Do you think we can go somewhere for New Year's eve together? That would be really great.
Don't have too much fun without me, John

Dear John,
Perhaps the owl thought it was funny as well. No worries, I appreciate the thought, you are such a sweetie. I am pretty sure you are wanted with the girls, tell me, is there one on your mind. Your big sister want to know all about it.
Sent Ambie some love back, I miss my little dove.
Christmas will be amazing, I look forward to see everyone again. Any ideas to give as present to mom and dad this year?
My dear little brother, I do not blame you for dressing ‘only in black’. It is not like I like to dress up over the top as well but I would have gone for white though, or perhaps purple. In the end it is about having fun. Tell me have you danced with a girl? What is she like. (I demand all the details)
Perhaps we should celebrate New Year’s eve at the beach, it’s cold but yet a beautiful sight. We should go with the whole family. Without father’s pony though, despite that he thinks she is part of the family.
Take care, have fun at your Quidditch games and score some points,
Big sis Eve
P.S. There is something I want to tell you in person. I cannot tell mom or dad so please tell me when you have time, I can come to Hogsmeade.

Eve,
what sort of interrogation is this now? Are you afraid you will miss the wedding? I'm planning on joining a convent after graduation, didn't you know? But seriously, Eve, no. Just no. I do absolutely not know how you could hear of this, but there is nothing between me and Renée Lafayette. We are just friends.
You are the creative one of the two of us. How should I know what to give mum and dad for Christmas? It is probably a bad idea but maybe mum could use a new hat for gardening? The old one looks like it's made out of earth by now. And dad, well, we could always add to his horse shoe collection.
Well, I thought black was more fitting for Death, so I went for that. And before you read the following, please re-read the beginning so you do not get anything wrong. Wouldn't want you thinking up fairy tale endings already for nothing. I did dance. My best friend had sprained her ankle so she passed me on to said Ravenclaw prefect Lafayette. It was nice I guess. You know I'm not the greatest dancer, but it was alright and fun until all the drama happened at the party. One girl spilled her drink over another girl's dress and the guys coming to rescue, or one of them, ripped the girl's dress who had done it. Actually, she wasn't wearing much anymore. I felt so bad for her and it was my friend who did it. She didn't look embarrassed though, so I guess it will be alright.
Maybe we should make a campfire at the beach. You know how Holly hates that. I bet father would not want to stress her like that and bring her to the 'family gathering'.
Only a little more than two weeks until we come home!
Love, John
P.S.: One of my friends is a pro when it comes to getting out of the castle, so I can go whenever you want me to. You have me really worried now. Why can't you tell mum and dad? Is it that bad? Just send me a notice and I'll meet you anywhere in Hogsmeade.
