CHARACTER HISTORY: Eugenie Taissa Fawley was born on the 20th of December, 1864. She is the second child of Micajah Fawley and his third wife, Elizabeth Bulstrode Fawley. But she is the fifteenth child born to her father. Her elder brother, Augustus is just over a year older than she is, and her younger brother Rupert is two years younger than she is. She doesn't remember her mother's death. In fact, she barely remembers her at all, but she harbors a great resentment toward her for dying, especially in the manner in which she died. She is absolutely convinced her mother was an idiot, and she could have prevented her own death had she not been so incredibly stupid. She cannot forgive her, because it is easier to blame her. Her father married Luana Lovegood when she was seven years old. Before the wedding, Eugenie loved the young woman. But once she realized that she had become her step-mother, she was not so thrilled. And because she had been spoiled so much by her father as a little girl, she found she could get away with mistreating her step-mother to a certain degree. She was never cruel to her, because it is not in Genie's nature to be cruel. But she would never truly like her, not until a few years later. The birth of her younger sister Beatrice was quite a blow to Eugenie. She had been the only girl for eight years, other than her nieces, and she was quite jealous of the baby. But her father was smart, and though he worked often, he was watching. He gave Eugenie a pet rabbit all of her own, and she had little time to dislike the baby. Then when Beatrice grew older and could smile and giggle more often, Eugenie found she could not deny that she loved her younger sister. She also had to admit that her step-mother was growing on her, and now she is very close to Luana.

After whatever happened between the two of them (and I imagine it wasn't much on his end), Augustus found out and put a stop to it immediately, threatening to tell their father.
