EYES: Dark brown, almost black. His eyes are almond-shaped, but wide like a child’s. His eyebrows are long and thin.
HAIR: Dark brown, matching his eyes, and fine. He keeps it shagging, but not below his ears in length.
SKINTONE: Pale. He doesn’t go in the sun very much.
HEIGHT & WEIGHT: Felix is of medium height for a boy his age, standing at five-foot-eight. He is very thin and weighs 140 pounds. He’s never been skilled at building muscle mass, he’s very used to being wiry and athletic, rather than brutish.
DISTINGUISHING MARKS: He is a very normal-looking boy. The only feature he has that is somewhat distinguishing is his thin, pointed nose. The cleft in his chin is barely noticeable.
OVERALL PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION: Felix has dark hair and pale skin, and has never stood out physically, nor does he wish to. He has long fingers, and he keeps his appearance well-manicured, but not in an obsessive way. He has a defined jawline alone with the cleft in his chin. He often looks as though he is brooding, but that is because he doesn’t smile often. His walk is slow and determined.
NON-MAGICAL SKILLS: Skandar doesn’t believe he has many skills that are above mediocre. But he sketches drawings, of people mostly. He has a keen mind, that he often uses to get himself into trouble. He sees people on a level that they cannot see themselves. His intuition leads him in many pathways, some of them not particularly desirable. He also has a very good memory, because of his love of reading.
MAGICAL SKILLS: His non-magical skills coincide greatly with his magical skills. Because of his love for reading, he is very adept at any class that does not require intense wandwork. He is better at History of Magic than at Charms. Although, he has been practicing memory charms and apparition. Memory charms seem to be a growing talent of his.
BEST/WORST CLASSES: Felix’s best classes are History of Magic, Ancient Runes and Potions. His worst are Transfiguration, Charms and Defense Against the Dark Arts.
WEAKNESSES: Felix doesn’t make friends easily. He has a morbid sense of humor. He pushes the boundaries at home as well as in school. He swears a lot, and he has a tendency to wander when he is on an outing. He’s a loner, but even when he is with his few friends, he is awkward and somewhat depressing. He attempts to have a thick skin so that he doesn’t let anyone in fully. He is proud about money, because his father recently lost all of theirs when the shop went south.
STRENGTHS: He is highly intelligent. He also loves deeply, even though he doesn’t like to show his heart. As mentioned before, he is very intuitive. He has a keen memory, though not a photographic one. He has moderate amounts of courage, but he is mainly just good at putting up a show that he is brave. He is generally cool and collected unless agitate.
QUIRKS & HABITS: He often is holding something to keep his hands busy. If he is not sketching, he is tossing or kicking pebbles along, or holding a quill.
OVERALL PERSONALITY DESCRIPTION: Felix tends to keep to himself for the most part, except that when he does make a friend he sticks to that person like glue. If he is ever betrayed, he doesn’t exact revenge, he merely shuts down all form of communication and turns away coldly. He rarely looks back. He has a haughty exterior, especially because of his bloodline, but he is embarrassed about being so poor now. Felix can be compassionate to creatures or children, but not with his peers.
Felix enjoys gaining knowledge on an level of instinct, not just habit. He feels giddy when remembering an obscure fact or rune. He enjoys feeling superior to other people, though he would never openly admit that. He had never been very interested in the opposite sex, or even sex at all. He is content to leave that sort of thing to other people.
He gets along with his family generally, but he enjoys pushing his father because of his inferiority complex regarding his brother (see character history). He spends time with his cousins when he can, though he still does not like opening up completely with anyone. He is quiet when he needs to be, but is not a stranger to causing trouble when he leaves without telling anyone.

CHARACTER HISTORY: Felix was born in 1868 as the second and last son of Caractacus Burke, and his mother. He always felt inferior to his brother, Jon because he was so talented and popular, and Felix felt like second best when it came to his family. When he was ten years old, Felix came upon the body of his brother after he had committed suicide by hanging himself. He didn’t understand how his brother could have ended such a perfect life, when he so obviously had everything. He took it hard, because even though he was jealous of Jonathan, he still loved him very much.
His father grieved deeply at the loss of Jonathan, and the shop, which was and still is their main source of income, suffered greatly and nearly closed down. Felix tried to help, but he was so young and he soon went off to Hogwarts. The family became poor, but Felix still felt pride because of his bloodline and family history. It was difficult for him to adjust to a life with little money.
Felix began to act out in school, though he always is smart enough to see the line and when he has gone too far. It is rare that he makes a mistake without knowing exactly what he is doing. He loves his family, but he feels disconnected from them because he is not the “favorite” son, and now it is even more impossible to live up to his brother because he is dead.
