Feminist ideas and social movements emerged in Europe, Great Britain, and the United States in the late 1800s. These women below are considered feminists and many of them will suffer greatly for wanting the same rights as men. Some will be jailed, or thrown into an asylum with the label 'insane', and others tortured just for voicing their opinions about wanting the right to vote and wanting the right to own property without a husband.

With the upcoming election of 1884 Micajah Fawley will resign and another Minister of Magic will be voted into office, and like every year before, Women and Children will not allowed to vote. Some women are outraged and annoyed that their voices aren't being heard and are now voicing their opinions publicly to any who will hear, sparking anger in some and a fire in others.

I would like to keep a list of all the Feminist so we can have club meetings (that is what they did back then but you don't have to join a club to be a feminist obviously) and plan different protests. Since we don't have a lot of Feminist I think we should just have one club right now called, The Brave Ladies held at the Home of one of the members (They can switch locations depending on whether or not someone's husband or disapproving family member is home).

Since we don't have a leader of this group currently if someone would like to take that title they can! They will just have to host the first club meeting is all.

♛ Rules of The Brave Ladies ♛

♛ You Must be 17 years old or older to join as they ladies are doing 'dangerous' things and could be jailed for it.
♛ Everyone has to Host a meeting at least once to make it fair (we can create a PM and decide who should go second after the Leader and go down the list adding new people as we go)
♛ Not everyone has to be involved in crazy stunts, if your character would rather stay home then risk being thrown in jail they can, however some characters may look down on you for that.

Annabelle Saunders

32 Years Old | Ministry: Being Division Creature Hunter | PB: Melanie

     Annabelle is fighting for Equality in general. She grew up in a household where she wasn't treated differently for being a woman and doesn't understand why things are different in London. She wants to make a change. Anna is no where near afraid to let her opinions be heard in a very public area, but her job is her most important aspect of her life and takes priority. So she'd probably miss out on a protest or two. She's apart of the club and would absolutely lead it if she had the time for it. But she doesn't. She heard about the club from another feminist friend in the ministry.

 Emeline Florence

24 Years Old | Scarlet Woman | Veela | PB: Chris

     Emeline is fighting more for Equality, she's a veela herself but she surely thinks that things will have to change. She wants to have the right to vote as well even though she's a Veela, she tries to hide that part. Emeline is prepared to fight for it as long as no one finds out she's a Veela, she doesn't want to get arrested however, if it does happen she won't hesitate to kill the person arresting her, leaving no witnesses. Emeline works mostly on the streets and hears things because of this. Emeline can as well be part of the club if needed but currently isn't. 

Queenie Slovensky

20 Years Old | Waitress at the Hogs Head | Played by Morgan

    Queenie is currently fighting for the right to own property as she wants to buy a home to share with her mother but refuses to marry anyone at the moment, however she will soon be persuaded to fight for equality in general. She is willing to go as far as it takes to get what she wants, she does not fear jail time nor does she care what others will think of her. She isn't apart of They Brave Ladies as she does not know about it, if she were to find out about it she would possibly join them.

Sasha Blake

20 Years Old | Gladrags Wizardwear: Tailor | PB: Paige

     As of right now, Sasha wants to be able to vote, because she (and all women) deserve to have a say in government as well. She's already leaning towards equality in general, especially when it comes to the rights of women regarding their health, owning property, and keeping their children even after divorce. She will fight tooth and nail for what she believes in. Jail time? That's nothing. Insane asylum? They can try to break me, but they won't. *However, if those important to her were implicated because of her, she would feel horrible, which would only fuel her protests even more. She found out about The Brave Ladies by being a close friend of one of the founders.

Iridessa Ariel Blair

17 Years Old | Student: Gryffindor | PB: Noelle

     Iridessa believes in equality of all people in all places. She wants everyone to know women are people too. She wants equal voting, property ownership, and well,all rights for women. Any thing men can do, she wants women to do. This girl is brave and will go as far as it takes to gain the rights every person deserves. She is a girl who usually speaks her mind and is loud in general. She can even do things in the school, if required. She wants the rights for her mother to not have to listen to her father, so she can see the rest of her family again. She will be a part of the club once she becomes of age, which is quite soon. While she was out and about one day she heard other women speaking of the same ideals she has and she asked a lot of questions and eventually the women told her of the club.

Amira Belle Matthews

     Amira is fighting for Equality in general. She wants to be able to dress how she likes without people saying anything or go shopping at a Quidditch supplies store without getting into duels with ignorant jerks. Amira's a brave girl and would do whatever it takes to get her rights. She isn't afraid to get in trouble or hurt, if necessary. She's still too young to be apart of the club. But you can bet she'll be joining when she's old enough.

Age: 11 (Discussed Earlier)
What are they fighting for: She wants boys and girls to be the same, after listening in at a meeting. She wants to be able to be whatever she wants to be when she grows up and she wants help in choosing government officers once she becomes of age. Kellina wants her future to bright, along with all the other girls in Blake's Orphanage and the world. She is fighting for the future to be the best it can be.
How far are they willing to go: She is willing to go as far as everyone will allow her to at 11. There will be some rescrictions for her, obviously, but she will as far as she can for her age.
Are they apart of the club/how did they find out about it? Kellina followed Sasha, curiously wondered where she was going and hid in the shadows, listening to the ideas until she popped out, excited about her own ideas. People didn't want to get her involved because of her age, and discouraged Kellina from coming to the mertings and getting involved, but Kellina kept showing up anyways.



Name: Cassidy (Charles) Ackerman
Age: 22
What are they fighting for: Cassidy wants the right to be able to have any job she wants and the ability to own property.
How far are they willing to go: Cassidy disguises herself as a man in today's society and has a very good business as a doctor and wouldn't want to give that up. Therefore, she can only make gracious donations to the club, which come from her earnings from her medical practice. These donations come secretly in an envelope with a note inside saying "Brave Ladies". These donations come at random, in random ways, with random amounts of money.
Are they apart of the club/how did they find out about it? Cassidy is not part of the club, but heard of it from being close to one of the members who she overheard whispering to other ladies. Cassidy then went about her way, but always managed to somehow send anonymous donations.

Name: Viola Emi von Waldburg
Age: 16 (she isn't part of the club, may perhaps become when she turns older)
What are they fighting for: Being able to do the job she wants to do and is good at without having to use her puppets. Viola has experienced being suppressed by the male sex. She isn't taken seriously despite her hard work and talent in the journalism area. She wants equal salary and jobs for men and women.
How far are they willing to go: After Hogwarts she'll probably work for the Daily Prophet which she can use for her own goals. When she gets the chance she'll let her voice hear, she isn't afraid of what others might think. Despite being a petite girly girl, she has some qualities which could come in handy for the club later on.
