Ruby was born in London to Gregory and Jean Foster. She was an only child, as her mother had difficulty in her birth and damaged herself, so she couldn't have anymore children. It made her parents a bit upset that they couldn't have more children, but it made them love Ruby even more. From a young age, Ruby started being interested in baking and she lots of times made bread for her family to eat with supper. Her skills got better and better as she got older and older. It was one of her chores to tend the garden, and she became quite good at it growing up.
When she turned 11, she was sent to Hogwarts and was sorted into Hufflepuff. She met lots of friends, and got very good grades. She left Hogwarts after her 5th to be married off to her husband, with very good scores on her OWLs. Her marriage life was better than she thought it would be. Her husband was a very encouraging man and encouraged his wife to be the best at anything she put her mind to, which led Ruby to have her husband buy her a bakery so she can do the one thing she loved.

Ruby yawned as she sat up in bed, stretching her arms over her head. She exhaled, dropping her arms to her side. The woman glanced out her window to the sun already high in sky. She jumped out of bed, "I'm late!" She exclaimed, hurrying to her dresser, pulling a dress and quickly changing. She forgot her shoes as she ran as fast as she could to the bakery.
Ruby then quickly unlocked the door to the bakery and ran inside to remember that it was Sunday and that the bakery was closed on Sundays. The woman exhaled a sigh of relief and walked back home after relocating her shop up.
