I read about the attacks in the paper and father's name was on the victims list. They didn't give specifics and that worries me. Please tell me what happened. Please tell me my father is not dead. And Alexandria?? I must admit I'm actually grateful we ran into each other because now I can ask you for specifics rather than try to listen to gossip about it. You know how tough it is to trust that.

Dear Melanie,

Gossip is very unreliable and if it's coming from the Daily Prophet, I suggest you be wary. With that being said, there is no need to worry too much. Everyone is fine for the most part. Father's leg was broken during the attack, but he will recover, if he ever stops complaining long enough for someone to actually care for him. He's run off several nurses, so I assure you he will survive. They say he might need a cane for assistance, but I am unsure of whether that will be temporary or permanent. I will keep you up to date. Alexandria is fine as well. There was a brief moment where we believed she might give birth early, but all is back on track.

As I told you during our meeting, if you need anything, just owl me. If you wish to see me again, I will gladly meet you at a place of your choosing. I miss you too little sister. I believe Charlotte would like to debate with you on the title of favorite.

Dear Sloan,

Unfortunately these days that's all I've been able to gather my information from. I'm glad I have to you confirm or deny these claims so I can finally know the truth. I'm sorry to hear about father. I'm sure he's giving everyone hell for being stuck in bed with a broken leg. Good luck with him while he's healing. Hopefully the cane won't be permanent. I have a feeling he'll be using it to beat people that irritate him.

Am I reading this right? Am I about to be an Aunt? Congradulations, brother. I hope she has a safe delivery whenever it's time. I'm so relieved that she and the baby were not harmed.

I would love to see you again, if you're sure you don't mind. I know my...situation was a bit of a shock to you. I understand if you'd want to keep your distance. And Charlotte can debate all she likes but you and I both know who holds the title.
