Congratulations on your 16th birthday! I hope you had the most wonderful day with lots of cakes and friends. Did they sang songs for you? They must have! If not I will make it up by singing once I have returned.I bet mother and father spoiled you on your special day. Tell me, what did they get you?

How is it at Hogwarts? If there is anything interesting going on, let me know. It’s rather boring here. Oh! I hope you like the gift I sent with this letter. The lady from the Hospital shop managed to buy it with the money I gave here. I wish I could have given something more personal but there is no way they are letting me out of bed soon. However you can expect a hug when I am back, I miss you a lot.

Your letter made me smile. Thank you for thinking of me! I miss you. How have you been feeling? Are they treating you right? Tell me if they aren't and I will fix it. I have had a wonderful day, full of cakes and friends as you say, and yes, even a few songs. Though some done very badly. I forgive them though, the thought was there.

I can't think of anything going on with Hogwarts that is very interesting. They are working us to the bone to prepare for OWLs and I want to cry, you know how I hate to study. But Mother and Father would be so disappointed if I did not do my best, so I am trying.

I love the gift you sent! It is perfect. You know how I love poems, no matter where it comes from.

I look forward to the hug you have for me, but mine shall be even bigger for you!

Dear Big Sister,

Hearing you enjoyed your birthday makes me happy. Your friends sound like amazing people. They gave you the most wonderful day and I am thankful for it. You deserved it. I wish I could be there to celebrate it with you but we will have to redo it next year. I hate the hospital, the people are kind but I hate being alone. They are helping me getting better but I just want to return to Hogwarts to be with Claude and you. They didn't even allow me to take Mr. Nibbels with me(ooc: his plush bunny). I know I have to stay strong but it is really hard. Last year I barely passed and now the chance of having to repeat this year grows. Do not tell Claude about this, he will worry.

School is important, you may not like it now but you will be glad in the future that you did it. Mother would say something like that. I would not know, I guess I will just tell you to find a way to enjoy it. Perhaps you can study with your friends to make it more fun?

I am glad to know you like the gift. I was not sure what you already had so I figured a muggle book would be a smart choice. Perhaps you can read me some when I get back.
